HOLY SMOKES. Probably the best donut you’ll ever taste. She makes them FRESH all day in small batches. And uses great ingredients. No artificial colors. I wonder if they’re winning any awards? Seems like a very unique model for donut making. More culinary.

As a pastry chef I have tons of respect for your passion. A lot of donut shops now just use mix and just doesn't taste right. We make our own version of the Kronut which takes three days to make but it's so worth it.

I love this; no pretentiousness, just amazing baking with amazing flavour combinations and incredible attention to detail. Much better than the bakery from the last episode.

I really love her approach to flavoring her donuts. Because she started out making savory food, she applied that into desserts to make unique and eclectic flavors. Incredible.
Oh, how lovely when a set of donuts were white boxed -- they were individual works of art; how lovely to bring a box of her creations to friends and sip with delicious coffee with whipped cream :)
lucky to live nearby and run across them just after opening. as soon as we had one, we knew we'd have a donut tower at our wedding, and it was perfect.

Just hearing describing the nuances of how doughnuts are and what makes theirs so good shows the depths of her experience into making sure each one she puts out is consistent for those who are able to pick up one of their doughnuts. I loved this. I'm not huge on donuts and stuff like that but I'd definitely try one and I'm sure I'd make weekly trips :) I'm a very simple glaze donut kind of person, I don't like anything fancy but I don't have doughnuts often maybe once a year :)

Thank you for this, Can tell they are great by the passion put into them. Def reminded me of being a kid and getting fresh donuts and then one day the places i enjoyed turned into stale donuts not made fresh in front of you.

the passion and love for what she does just resonates, surely top-tier doughnuts!! freshly handmade? the flavors?? as someone who learned how to bake pastries and bread, i love how she described the process of kneading, that getting your own hand involved to make these bread and the connection and heart you'll have with the food.
All of us in our class before really was just learning how to bake to pass the assessment and receive our certificates by the end of the year, but we ended up enjoying it, making the whole journey to it much more bearable and enjoyable, it was such a big accomplishment we got before we moved to senior high. Oh the joy in cooking and baking

I'm glad she adds the fresh nutmeg to each batch. You might not notice every little touch of love but the love manifests itself anyway. Also, i should very much like to try a little glass of that cinnamon water they have. I bet that would be refreshing cold.

wow doing this everyday takes a lot of hard work and passion. I know dunkin donuts or krispy kreme, they mostly use machines to create batch and batch of donuts but then dang they make it by hand.
Thanks to Eater I know what I'm going to do in NY. I'm going to get a cab, then speed through all the places, gather food, got to the hotel, eat up and die happy :D But seriously, I really enjoy watching people doing amazing food, living their passion.
