    During Pressure I have realized
That pressure is nothing but requirements of
    extra effort,
    more involvement
    More tractics
    More problem solving approach
    With a positive mindset.
Sometimes it makes you feel drained.
But it is like a test of perseverance.
    Which we need to win.

I do work well under pressure. I remember during the pandemic I was taking Organic Chemistry II online, a notoriously stressful class under normal circumstances but certainly exacerbated by the inability to work in person with my professor and peers. We had to take virtually proctored exams online which were timed. During the final exam for organic chemistry II, I logged in to begin the exam at the scheduled time and the software was malfunctioning. I lost 15 minutes of time before successfully logging in. This was an incredibly stressful scenario; I initially felt that I had lost my opportunity to succeed, but I took a moment to breathe and calm down and go methodically through the rest of the exam. I still earned a B+ on the final and ended with an A in the class.

I love stories! Whenever I interview people I believe stories tell me understanding which converts to performance. If the person doesn't have a story I feel like the interviewee is puling the answer out of nowhere or doesn't care to think about the answer (may be nervous, in which I give them the benefit of the doubt;). When someone doesn't care to think about the answer I think they are "lying" through their interview. In other words, they are trying to find the answer that I want to hear instead of the answer they never had because they never had that experience to learn from because they never took it/had the capability of seeing it.

To me, this question is a red flag in itself, because it implies that the company is often under pressure, meaning that it is probably mismanaged. I would answer and then immediately ask how often employees work under pressure and why. Why would I want to work in an environment that is always under pressure from bad management decisions?

I think actually no one wants to work under too much pressure, but sometimes using work pressure makes people more responsible and efficient. However, you need to consider assigning and dividing the work properly because if you want to retain talent and acquire talent, you should not let them work under high pressure for a long time

  • @Since-wen

Yes I can work under pressure. But let me expand on that. As a landscaper, we had a client that wanted us to put mulch down around his newly built house. It was a huge property. On The morning of the job, my boss told me that his back was out and we had to postpone the job to an already busy end of month. I knew how much this contract meant to him . So, Being that I’m a person that gets the job done no matter the challenges, personally paid a friend of mine and we drove 2hrs and working behind schedule, finished the job. Not only was the client very happy with the job, my boss was amazed that we did it in such a short time. When I’m under pressure, my critical thinking skills become even sharper. Just thinking about the happiness of my clients makes it worth the time it takes to finish.

Great sharing. I used to smoke when I get stressed like most people do. I quit smoking and I was looking for alternative was to release my stress. Well, I found out that I need to take coffee break or sometimes I isolate myself and take a deep breath repetatively. It helps me to reduce my stress level and at the same time boost up my energy level.

Nobody wants to work under pressure but sometimes it becomes the advantage for the efficient outcomes. I started my exam preparation two days before beacause of the fest going in my college. I start studying whole two days and taking small naps in between and grasping the concept as much as i can so i can perform well. I score B+ in the examination at the end. I am happy with the result because unknowingly you do very great under pressure.

  • @merlincovlin4377

How I handle pressure. First it is good to know that I have done my best. Know that that lines up with integrity, this I can then wallow responsibility better. Then communicate through the problem through a lens that helps see the problem in a constructive way to create a solution! If It is a dead lock and I do not have the control to fix or the party does not want to come to an a solution it's no longer my responsibility. Then unwinding I get the most out of mindfeed..... ocean walks are great but filling my cup back up with pure knowledge takes away the airspace for negative junk!

I am quite practical when dealing with pressure.
Once, I was a team member during a project and the team lead had settled on a framework with security glitch.
He realized the issue quite late (the day before we had to present to the client).
I took up presenting the issue to the client, rescheduling the presentation by a couple of days while we dealt with the backlog created without shaking the client's confidence in us as a team

@@kiarabajaj6260 The interviewer is not a fresher mam that's what I'm trying to say. Interviewer don't want to listen to your college project unless it is selected at an international level

@@sidharthbarmera Use the same example in a situation of a workplace. Where you are collaboratively working with a team of 4 on a deliverable and for some reason 2 of them do not complete their responsibilities will in time but you take the lead to meet the deadlines. create presentation on their behalf by working extra to ensure timely delivery and close the deal/ launch/ project.
