    What question could I ask the hiring manager to gauge the toxicity of the work environment within the company?

    • @tarmac5482
      @tarmac5482 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Wish you best of luck in your career.
      "How you take decisions here?" - Red flags: delay in response, making everything sweet, all decisions follow the same path, no delegation, the term "approval" comes a lot
      "How do you develop your employees?" - Red flags: Standard performance appraisal, no mention of business goals, training, no stock sharing or intrapreneurship, no excellence
      "What areas are you planning to cater in the market?" - Red Flags: no clear description, no future aspiration, talking about competition and market share instead of solving problems
      IMHO, you can observe the environment, the persons involved, the way they treat you from the very start, read reviews about them on glassdoor etc, their behavior towards you is judgmental rather than understanding. You can tell if the interviewer is genuinely interested in your skills and abilities. If he is, he'll be exploring your responses, not expecting a yes/no or short answers or cutting you through to quickly finishing the session.
