@@shounakchatterjee1823 He just explained that in the video. When you say, "to be honest with you", You make an assertion that you were not being honest this whole time. That hurts your credibility.
Dear Nitesh, this is the the official Business School, trust me, to be frank with you, on behalf of the school, to be honest, we just wanted to say, Sorry to bother you.
Decided to give D2D a shot today. Took 3 hours to get ny very first sale on my very first day! $200 for washing the front exterior windows of the client’s home. Took me 40 minutes to get it done. The amazing thing is that just before knocking on that door, I was just about ready to give up after about 40 no’s. Lesson learned today: Never give up! But prepare yourself with do’s and donts for a much better experience.

This is Gold. These are words I use all the time in a normal conversation yet it never occurred to me the impact they have on the psyche of the other person.
Hmm. I would prefer to use the other option. Let's get the paperwork done. The problem with the "would you like to own" is that the customer would start to think. To think again about the product. Your about to close the client. They are NOT supposed to think. Again and again and again.... They might rethink everything and you loose the sale. Focus about them not being able to think. The other option is light-years better. You force them to act in a natural way. Which is to sign the agreement. Make them act, NOT think when you close the deal. 😉
@Rob Wilton Even though this guy owning this channel is a great closer. I like the content. The words "would you like to own" is just wrong. In my opinion you should never say that when closing the deal. Nothing is done before the contract has been signed. Speak about the weather or whatever after the contract is signed. Not before. You already know the client is interested. Why start over again? Also it's another advantage if you use the other option which is great. "Let's get the paperwork done". If the client has any objections he would tell them to you. And it's very important that you stay cool and listen carefully. When he or her speak it's the only problem you have left to solve to close the deal. But you got to d it immediately. Not waiting one single day. If it's just a little too expensive or other practical issues and your able to meet the client wishes, Fix them asap, within an hour or at least the same day. Make sure you can call him back asap. Make a new appoitmet at the call or meeting. Tell him you need a few minutes to solve the issues. That is all. And tell him you will call him back asap as well. If you let him or her think for some time you might loose the deal. While closing. Time is money. Give them time and you loose money rather :) And remember, if you can't solve the issues he has. Stay strong. It doesn't mean he's not going to buy. Only now you are a seller. You tell him straight up that you have given him the best offer possible. You got to understand that the buyer wants to check if he's got the best possible price if he's a professional. So you say. I ll double check if we can do anything more and call you back in a few minutes. When you call him back you tell him the truth. It's the best we can do. The offer stands as is until tomorrow. Great if you call me back asap, because I got to move on with another client. And you don't call him back. Now it's ok if he or she think. And the buyer will call you back if interested. If not your waisting your time to call them back. Rather write a short mail. We will love to speak again at another time. If you want to be a brilliant seller. Make the buyer call you. Then you are the winner. It's a mind game to be a great closer. I ve been a seller and now a buyer. I know about both sides of the coin :-)
@Rob Wilton I see :-) I misunderstood then. Still, even after the contract is signed I rather not speak about it. You never know if second thoughts could appear. Deflect the subject to something funny or neutral. Like the weather or other none relevant subjects. And if anything practical is needed to do. Do it immediately. Continue with that. The buyer will be impressed by your dedication and will trust you the next time as well. Which means more signed contracts 👍
I don't. Anymore. It takes a lot of energy and dedication to be a great salesman. So eventually I calmed down. I m working a an accountant now. I was selling mobile phone systems to companies.
After watching this video i have changed my call script and also my site content. Definitely seeing better results in last one month. Seems like i am in control on the call.
When I went to Vegas at luxury stores, the girl was like “ ready to take it home with you” even Though you I didn’t have 5,000 on me but I was ready to buy
I do that all the time when I sell my service. I assume they already want it but I dont give pitches. Instead, I leave them an impression where when they are ready to go to bed, they are thinking about the opportunity they will possibly miss.
Thank you Dan Lok for another amazing video. Zig Ziglar said that you will achieve whatever you want , if you help others achieve what they want. You have helped millions achieve what they want...so you will keep on achieving what you want
Dan, I had to take the time and tell you, thank you. Your philosophy on sales is 100% especially for me as a tele-sales! Words are my 'only' magic when cold calling. Instead of sign contracts, 'partner with us' or 'ill send the agreements over so we can get started'. Boom. Pretty much everything you've said on this video, is what we do. I was invented to be a part of the sales lab at Main Street hub (social media marketing), then they were bought buy GoDaddy. We molded different scripts for different verticals/industries. I love it man! Keep preaching the good gospel!
Thank You Don. I have watch you grow since 2016. So proud of your ways of marketing. I am a HTC. I have learn so much. Again Thank you for your guidance.

Just notice how at 11:55 when he's pitching his calls he doesn't say "fee" or "payment". He says "small deposit". Brilliant.
Fantastic, I've used these term 'bothering you" more often thanks for the insights

I'M LEARNING ONLINE SALES. YOU ARE HELPING ME ALOT. I WISH I COULD ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOU.

I ma just starting out in sales and closing and taking out this 27 words is a big change toward positive growth.
It's going to be hard but I'm going to consciously not use those words during sales/closing.
