I love the calming, confident presentation of all of these tips and Dan's videos -- He is there for you :) I have an interview today and so happy to be able to apply this advice moving forward (hopefully in my new role!) Thanks Dan!
I believe the "walk away power" is applicable to all situations life throws at you. My interview "walk away power" was that if I do not get the job, I already have an awesome job. That gave me that confidence and the "IDGAF" confidence to do my best in the interview. This destroys the nervousness and anxiety.
I like your advice. For me personally: always when I did not really want the job and I did not even prepare so much I got the offer. I think it's because I appeared very confident and not needy. This works for jobs we want or relationships we want. If we do not really care that much it's easier to get it...
A few times I totally bombed my interviews because I go in thinking I know what to say l…and then I’ll go in and then…BOOM I’m left speechless, my mind goes blank so I’m glad I came across your videos
Ironically, my first ever asked me wy I wanted this job, I said "well you know, it would be nice to be able to afford food".....she never did call me back.
I had the fear of saying wrong things, losing the opportunity and the fear of what they think about me. I don't feel confident about my voice. But I am getting better and I will be prepared.
These are real concerns people have and videos usually don't address them in a straightforward way like you did. This helped a lot because these are exactly what makes me nervous.
I have an interview on Wednesday as an administration assistant this video will help me as I am very nervous I will rehearse in front of a mirror Thankyou
If you get to the point that they’re giving you an interview, the job is yours to lose. It’s not just about your fitting them. Be sure that they fit you as well.

I have been struggling with a small company where I have vision for the future, but I still, need to do more in my ability to convince potential clients to commit. Thank u Don lok .
Hello Mr. Lok, I love your videos. I have a broad experience with interviews, so I am very confident when I go to an interview. Unfortunately, nowadays that I am older and I want to continue working with a good salary, I have encountered a sad reality in my country, Chile, that people are judgemental. If you are past 59 years old, the companies don't give you an opportunity or don't even answer your emails with your résumé, except if you are an economist or engineer expert on something. I am a translator and interpreter with an extensive background in the legal and mining industry, I feel an expert in that area too. But after thousands of résumés and rejections, I had to choose to work as a freelance because Chilean people think that over 59 people should be retired or be lucky if they earn a base salary if they get a decent job. Therefore, what do you suggest to tackle this problem?
Thanks Dan, I really needed this. I applied for an academically successful school and almost all of the tips you mentioned can be applied to my interview!
A true hero fights for what’s right even if everyone thinks it’s wrong. A true hero gets up after being knocked down. A true hero keeps going no matter what’s in their way. A true hero fights when everything seems hopeless. Now more than ever we need everyday ordinary people to become true hero’s because we can’t just wait for things to change we need to make change happen and it starts with you. Be the hero your friends family and the world need you to be.
Thanks for this interview walkthrough Sifu Dan. It’s very useful to have guidelines especially when it comes to how we feel about the way we look and other people’s perception of this. Sometimes being made fun of for whatever reason can leave scars and have a real impact on self-esteem.🙏
I have a panel interview tomorrow for 4 hours. I will take all this advice but unfortunately all my eggs is in one basket for this one, so it’s me vs pressure. Everyone please pray for me 🙏🏼 it’s a life changer. Love ❤️

I love the calming, confident presentation of all of these tips and Dan's videos -- He is there for you :) I have an interview today and so happy to be able to apply this advice moving forward (hopefully in my new role!) Thanks Dan!
did u get the job ?
I believe the "walk away power" is applicable to all situations life throws at you. My interview "walk away power" was that if I do not get the job, I already have an awesome job. That gave me that confidence and the "IDGAF" confidence to do my best in the interview. This destroys the nervousness and anxiety.
i'm just 15 and i don't reaally need to go to an interview. but I'm still watching this. why? cause this guy has the power to motivate. 👍👍👍
My challenges during the Interview is,how to relate my profession to the interview.
Walk away power is soo useful , it truly enhances ur confidence by making not desperate nd anxious nd u luk natural and ur true self.
I asked on my last interview, how would you rate my interview? And let me tell you the interviewer was caught by surprise.....hehehe
Lol.. What was he/her response
Fear of what others think has been my setback for long and I've conquered that by meditating and listening to Jan Lok
Ironically, my first ever asked me wy I wanted this job, I said "well you know, it would be nice to be able to afford food".....she never did call me back.
That's so sad...
😂
A sad story never sells
😂🤣
O my 🤣🤣
Thanks to this video, I could pass my interview and I am working in My dream job ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I will have my first job interview tomorrow , wish me luck. :)
I had the fear of saying wrong things, losing the opportunity and the fear of what they think about me. I don't feel confident about my voice. But I am getting better and I will be prepared.
I love his responses he's so the real person
Honestly, I don't know how I came across Dan lok but I've never stopped watching him since.
Yes, I have felt all the Fears, and I have been learning on how to face them. You've simplify that now!! Thank you Dan
These are real concerns people have and videos usually don't address them in a straightforward way like you did. This helped a lot because these are exactly what makes me nervous.
Waiting outside the interview and watching this wish me luck
I have an interview on Wednesday as an administration assistant this video will help me as I am very nervous I will rehearse in front of a mirror Thankyou
If you get to the point that they’re giving you an interview, the job is yours to lose. It’s not just about your fitting them. Be sure that they fit you as well.
I wish I would have found this video sooner. I had an interview on yesterday with little time to prepare. It was was the worst interview ever. I was stumbling over my words and to make things worse, a family member was one of the interviewers. I was so embarrassed but thank God I found this video. I will be prepared the next time.
I have an interview in less than two hours. I’ve studied so much but then I tend to blank out under pressure. Please wish me luck!
how'd you do?
@@naomixuoo8438 unfortunately I didn’t get the position, however the feedback I got was due to my qualification. They stated that my introduction and my manner was very professional, and that they saw heaps of potential. This video did help me land a position as an engineer tho! :)
@@Electron64 hey, the first job really wasn’t meant to be then! congrats!
Good luck!
I would pay to have all the knowledge this man is giving for free. Absolute gem to mankind.
I just want to say thank you Dan Lok. I've always felt pretty nervous going into job interviews (which I assume is pretty common), but I was able to land my dream job this past week after preparing and practicing, thanks to these videos!
Congrats man👊👊👊
Am glad I found u. It is now comfortable for me to figure out how easily I should respond professionally with confidence in u my skin when it comes to expectations..." I have been struggling with a small company where I have vision for the future, but I still, need to do more in my ability to convince potential clients to commit. Thank u Don lok .
Fear of making mistakes while speaking English in front of the interviewer
I can add ..have strong faith that if it is meant to be, it will ..if it doesn't, it is certainly for somthing better.
Here you get outstanding number of viewers just because you are truly touching real situation people going through in interview
Love ❤️
Thank you for the tips, Dan. You really deserve your success for the wisdom you share.
Thanks Dan! Just had several interviews and they were SO similar to the dude at the beginning!! I had NO clue how to interview but quickly saw that I had a new skill to learn. Glad you're here, makes me feel normal on the path.
Hey, thanks for sharing! It's great that you're recognizing the need to enhance your interviewing skills. Roleplaying can be a great way to practice and improve. You sound like someone who's willing to put in the effort to learn and grow and I'm confident that with practice, you'll be able to land the job you want.
As always Dan Lok is a good motivator 🔥🔥
Ohh yess
10X!
Thank you so much for this .....My first interview didn't go well btw I wasn't impressed by myself....but after watching this I can sure myself that this nervousness will never occur further..... really your videos are very much motivating and influencing.....
