It really does feel illegal. Would’ve been awesome if they enhanced the graphics to 4k too, but I’ll take increased frame rate over graphics any day of the week.
I don’t think it’s awesome nor bad, but rather solid. There’s still a lot of automated sections, but what I love about Unleashed is both the spectacle and transparency of how fast Sonic is combined with the overall difficulty of the day time stages. The platform wouldn’t let me jump onto it lol, but even that platform requires skill to stomp on if you’re trying to do it as quickly as possible. I was too close to it initially, and then I overshot my jump which is why it took me a while to get. But usually, I can land the stomps on my first jump, just in this run I screwed it up.

I saved up for an Xbox Series S mainly to play this game at 60 FPS, and it is 100% worth it. The PS3 and Xbox 360’s performance really struggles with frame rate drops . The best way to play this game in its full glory is either on the Xbox Series S/X or on PC with an emulator.
