    Nice setup. Questions....1. What commands do you have setup for the throttles on start (over the hump)? 2. I have the WingWing MIP setup, I am having a problem setting up DCS Kneeboard. It wants to use one of the MFD's which is much too small. Did you use a work around? Thanks Again

    • @KarmasGhosts
      @KarmasGhosts  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For question 1. I use the Winwing Super Taurus ‐ I bound the Left and Right throttle over the hump (which Winwing designates as "buttons" 31 and 30) with Left and Right throttle to idle in the F/A-18C in DCS.
      2. I have the Phoenix Version (No screens) of the MIP because I fly in VR.
      Thank you for watching and stopping by to ask questions.

    Man, oh man! I am so happy to have found your video! How do I connect with you in Discord? I have so many questions. I have the Reverb G2 and the WinWing Orion F18 Hotas. I have been seriously considering buy the Pheonix MIP. I would love to know what bindings you have for the MIP. I also notice you have the other two panels which have been discontinued.

    Thats really awesome. I with they would just do the left and right quarter panels so you dont have the hook and the landing gear all in one panel. Kinda takes away from the realism

    • @KarmasGhosts
      @KarmasGhosts  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yeah, I wish they did also. That's why I don't use the hook lever on the left side and installed a separate lever on the right for the hook. That way, work flow is good to go for carrier landings. It keeps the immersion.

    Outstanding. I assume if using the non phoenix standard 18 MIP, it would still interface with VR, albeit at greater cost and with MIP screens that would not be viewable with the VR headset on?

    • @KarmasGhosts
      @KarmasGhosts  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm using the Phoenix MIP without the screens for VR users. I'm not sure how the Top Gun MIP interfaces with a VR headset.

    How do you do the aligning??
    Got the three mdi's and full ufc while in VR, but im still feeling around in the dark.
    Got a Leap Motion but it's useless since there are no x and z axis to align and I don't want the digital hands to activate things. Just want them for referencing vr to the pit.
    How do you get around this?

    • @KarmasGhosts
      @KarmasGhosts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I align the mounts/physical panels by using the motion controller in VR. I reach out to hit a certain switch with my finger/motion controller. If I miss I raise of lower the panels accordingly for the front panels. For the side panels, throttle, etc. I use combination of chair height and monstertech adjustment height.
      Thanks for watching.
      Side note I made a custom mount for my MIP. Monstertech solution mounted the MIP too far from the desk.

    • @KarmasGhosts
      @KarmasGhosts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, handtracking is a good option also, but I prefer to have a physical switch that aligns in VR.

      It is nice, but only has y axis which sucks. Need x and z axis aswell. Also i want clicks with virtual hands to be turned OFF, so you can use the physical switches in your pit.

    How can you make for working 20 usb devices in same time ? Windows doesn't accept more 11 devices ??????

    • @KarmasGhosts
      @KarmasGhosts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, thanks for watching.
      Windows recognizes way more than 11. My Motherboard itself has 10 USB ports.
      With the PC Case, monitors, and 3 powered USB hubs, I have a total of 27 USB ports.
      The key is to use powered USB ports to power your Sim gear.

    • @benoitrenard3462
      @benoitrenard3462 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KarmasGhosts Oh ok, yes I have some usb powered HUB too but when I connected my 11th device, it's deconnect the last so I can't have my screen in dcs. Oh ok I was sure the problem came to my motherboard. I think you connect the most energy-consuming usb devices directly on your motherboard and the rest on your us hub. Thanks very much and don't stop to explore the sky !

    • @KarmasGhosts
      @KarmasGhosts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @msohm322 It's pretty much straight forward to hook it up. Just power to the wall, display port and USB to your PC. I do recommend a higher end Graphics Card when you run in VR.
