Love your editing and presentation style. Job well done. Interesting bend on the brace... And no other damage. I wonder if it's even needed..? If we see more bends like that, I'm sure TC will address it quick-smart and in a hurry.
Honestly that was kind of my thought too. I feel like the brace may not be needed and at the same time isn't actually strong enough to do the job. I'm hoping a 7075 option will be available. That being said most people probably aren't going to be jumping their buggies 15 ft in the air so in general it's unlikely to actually be an issue for the majority of bashers. It's also possible that this was just a fluke. I'm going to straighten it and we'll find out when I put it on the big ramp! Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed :-)
I don't think the centre brace is good on a basher, especially if you are doing jumps. You want to have some flex in the chassis to absorb the hits without anything breaking. Oh, and very slightly too short centre driveshafts so they don't get bent easily when the chassis flexes. If you're racing, absolutely have the top brace, but not for bashing.
@JeffGoris Not sure I agree with that. Most basher RCs have center braces now and generally speaking they are worthwhile. Things can still flex to some degree but it really strengthens up a lot of parts that end up getting bent. In this case I think the top brace of the spark just needs to be a little bit stronger. That being said after the first time I bent it I never bent it again so it might have just been a fluke.
Corally had some problem areas in their earlier 1/8 releases but it looks like they finally have everything figured out with the latest ones. Really solid value for money.
Yeah they've definitely put in the work. They've been listening to their customers and addressing problems. This latest release is every bit as good if not better than anything else that's out there. I think they're going to go far with this lineup!
Please help me decide between this and the Asuga… I’m just gonna be doing light bashing, no crazy Jumping. Is the bracing better in the asuga or this new one?
I think the bracing is better in the Asuga. That being said for light bashing either should be fine. Really It will come down to if you want a bigger car or a smaller car. The Asuga is larger and has bigger tires so it'll be able to handle rougher terrain but the spark is smaller and more handy.
Thx man, surprised they would release another buggy so close together. I have a Punisher and Dementor.. Would the Kagama be too similar to the punisher to warrant a new purchase? Technically I could piece together the new bracing, might have to buy a new chassis, at that point might be cheaper to just get the roller.
@GamezOfWar The Kagama looks similar but there are so many upgrades and updates from the punisher that it's a worthwhile upgrade. I'd recommend just getting the whole roller. I don't think you'll be disappointed
@@DoRCI think you should put a straight edge on that chassis, it does look bent. That being said, I been so happy with the radix, this xb6 is already on my bench! Those heavy 6s batteries really stress these cars. I doubt it would bend with a light weight 4s pack in it.
@@thatoneguy2756 It's not. What you saw was a combination of lens distortion and the bent chassis brace pulling it together a little bit. I did check it with a straight edge after removing the chassis brace and it's basically perfectly straight.
@@DoRC the only thing I was bummed about was my nice shock 7075 towers from radix don't fit xb6 cuz they changed the hinge pin setup. But it doesn't need upgraded like the radix did anyways.
Yeah hopefully they will come out with 7075 Towers for it as well. That being said my towers are still perfectly straight. I did just double check and the chassis is bent but along the full length it's about 1 mm total. That may have happened from jumping but honestly it could have been like that from the factory too as that's not much.
That's a tough one. I think the TC car is better than the RTR Typhon but the TLR Typhon is on sale right now and I think at its current price it's the best option.
Nice first look and bash, that was weird with that brace, like you say a 7075 option would be good, looking forward to see how it runs on bigger tyres and stiffer shocks 👍
Ok, it's time for me to pull the trigger on Corally RC. My hobby shop has Kagama's and it looks really impressive, beefy as heck. My man has a junk drawer full of ESC's lmao
Get the Kagama. You won't be disappointed! This seems pretty tough too but could definitely use a beefed up center brace. Maybe the aftermarket will come along for it :-) Thanks for watching!
It's a tough call. They are both great cars though you will have more aftermarket and parts support on the typhon. The differentials are a little better on the spark and it has better center bracing but ultimately I don't think you'd be disappointed with either one. I would just go whichever one you think looks the coolest :-)
I would go spark kagama just because the asuga is large like the Kagama is and I think you'd have a better variety of vehicles with the spark Kagama combo
I can't claim it as an original idea. People have been doing it for a while but I definitely is a good way to go. You can jam a little ear plug into the fluid that's already in there and thicken it up without going crazy or pull everything out and go full ear plugs in just about lock it up. Thanks for watching!
They're okay although since the 8bl150g2 came out I kind of don't really see much reason to mess with them anymore. The 8BL 150 really isn't very much more money and it's going to be a much safer bet.
@timhulett5150ify If it has features you like it might be worth a look. I had some minor delay issues on acceleration That didn't really bother me but might bother some people. Other than that it worked pretty well.
Yeah buggies usually aren't my thing but this one was a lot of fun! I'm excited about getting it out on the big ramp and seeing how it handles real abuse
The Kagama that I tested previously was the RTR version. I buy these for myself as well as for the channel so sometimes I make decisions based on what I want to :-) That being said the system that I put in the spark Will be very similar in performance to the stock RTR system. Thanks for watching!
It's not. What you saw was a combination of lens distortion and the bent center brace pulling things together. Once I released tension on the center brace I checked it with a straight edge and it's flat through within about 1 mm across its entire length. Not perfect but it could have been like that from the factory too.
Maybe though carbon fiber has no give to it whatsoever and everything in the system is going to flex in a crash. I would be concerned that the carbon fiber would either shatter or just rip out of its mounts. I think a 7075 brace would work really well here.
Amazing review as usual. You keep making me want a Team Corally . Now just to choose which one
I would go kagama. The Asuga and the spark are definitely fun but for me the kagamas where it's at.

nice video bud. Digging the all out bashing and durability testing you rake these through.
Great video👍 Minus that center brace that buggy took the pounding well. Those buggies tires are going to hook up well, can't wait for that vid.
Yeah hopefully a 7075 option will come out. For now I'll just pound it flat and reinstall it :-)

Great informative video 🤗🙏🙏. Looks like an awesome bashable buggy 💯. Have a good one and keep up the good work 👊🤘
Thanks and thanks for watching!
The turnbuckle on the servo is not adjustable.Do you think I need to buy an adjustable one or is the stock one enough?
The stock one is fine. You can adjust the steering via the transmitter.
Hi just wondering. Aroma typhoon 6s and xb 6 which. One better

Nice job Kenny, that is a beautiful biggy

What is the max pinion size with the stock motor mount?
I'm not really sure about. There is quite a bit of room to move the mount but I don't know what the ultimate largest size would be.
Also what do you think is the best combo?
1)Spark+Asuga
2)Spark+Kagama
3)Asuga+Kagama
I would go spark kagama just because the asuga is large like the Kagama is and I think you'd have a better variety of vehicles with the spark Kagama combo
You’re an absolute genius bro… ear plugs yonoe… wow!

Awesome video, i was thinking on buying this buggy too with exactly same electornics
Go for it! I don't think you'll be disappointed :-). Thanks for watching.
that is one sweet ride!
Yeah I'm excited to get some better tires on it and see how it handles the big ramp!
Hey.. hows them rocket v2 esc's do.? Any good?

I would corally to make a 1/5 or larger one of these
Yeah I hope they work on some other platforms. A 1/10 scale line would be sweet too!
Are you the "Amian hobby" guy that voice it's you it just has to be you!!!
Nope different guy:)
@DoRC 🤷🏿♂️ i must be out of My Mind, that voice box and pitch, WOW you had Me for sec My Guy, One Love!!!
Carbon fiber brace slightly thicker & wider would have been better than the aluminum brace.
