      @@bradjrc196 hey guys what’s up. Great video brother! I definitely support sharing this fan setup to our RC brothers.
      One quick heads up though, I think it awesome your using Hardcore RCs video for people to see the part list. My only concern is that Hardcore is still recommending the old style ESC plate (the one without the center support)
      Those lead to certain destruction of the fan. I see you have the right one, which is awesome. Let hardcore know he needs to update his link.
      Good luck with your channel too Brad! Super smart to start one!!

      One quick heads up though, I think it awesome your using Hardcore RCs video for people to see the part list. I think hardcore should remove the old ESC plate link tho, that way people don’t accidentally buy that one. It will for sure lead to a broken fan.

    Why don’t you run the power straight off the battery with a balance plug. Get the full 12v instead of 6 or 7v u can get double

      Thank you for watching, I have tried running my fans from the balance lead and it made my battery really hot and I wasn’t comfortable with it , not saying this happens to everyone but it did to me so I left that idea.

    Hey Your buddy Jeff Nicholls sent me your way. I was wondering what pinion gear I should run on my max 6 combo for the kraton 6s without running into heat issues?

    • @bradjrc196
      @bradjrc196  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I run a 21t pinion with a fan on the esc and motor with no problems with heat. You can run 19,20 or 21 . If you don’t have a fan on the motor you can play it safe with a 19 .

    Does the fan run that strong off the esc, or are you running it off a battery?

    • @bradjrc196
      @bradjrc196  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep it’s off the esc 👍🏻

      @@bradjrc196 nice, I ordered all the stuff to make my own fans but was going to try to run them off a separate battery because everyone says they perform better. But it looks like they work pretty good off the esc so maybe I'll just do that. Thanks for the quick reply man 👍

    • @bradjrc196
      @bradjrc196  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cwcodywhite no worries, you can always change over to a separate power source at a later date, you’ll just need to change the plug on the fan .👍🏻

    • @cwcodywhite
      @cwcodywhite 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bradjrc196 that's one of the main reasons I'm kind of steering away from the battery. I don't know what plug I would need to put on the fan, or how to wire it. I know I only use red and black on the fan, but don't know how I convert it to go in a 3s balance lead

      @@cwcodywhite only need two plug in wires one balance plug the far right and the other on the far left to run it off a separate batt
