This is a really cool weapon, but I wish that they'd unlock the ability to slap a scope on the regular 10mm SMG. This game has too many weapons that just aren't worth it, and the 10mm SMG is high on that list.
Those sights are abysmal, it is the only weapon I use in 3rd person exclusively. I will literally let a wall sit in view of my camera because it is less intrusive than the default view for the 10mm. They at least need to let us change to flat iron sights as a weapon mod, maybe the glow sights that the pipe weapons use as well. I only deal with it because I rolled a Quad, Explosive, Vats Boost last year and have a lot of fun with it
Love this gun. It was my first drop in Skyline, and it dropped for my full-health non-stealth commando, and it works great! That AP cost is amazing. I slapped a piercing magazine on it- the 2-point AP cost seems unnoticeable but that little bit of anti-armor helps. Also, it comes with a second skin besides the Anchorage Ace Arctic Paint. Like, a "clean" version. Looking forward to your build around this!
@@__JaJa__ Running full Blocker, Fireproof, and Ricochet. No Dodgy, because it's a VATS crit build, and I can't afford the AP hits, so I have full Evasive (with 15 points in AGI).
Both Red terror and Anchorage Ace have secondary paint schemes you can swap too, Red terror has a green skin and Anchorage ace has a nice non winterized skin as well. They are automatically learned and can be applied at any weapon bench to them.
I built the same one but have -25 ap cost. I use it for regular wasteland combat like scorched and super mutants because of the ammo cost in materials is nothing for the amount you get.
Switching my last post up for an analogy. This gun is like a turbocharged engine (my car guys and gals will get this). The damage is mid until you hit execution range the BOOM! That being said people either tend to love or hate turbos. I love them and I love this gun 😅
The quad bloodied anti armor fixer meta has melted the playerbase minds. They don’t recognize a great gun when they see one. Executioners is highly underrated and one of the few last *multiplicative* damage multipliers left in the game. Combine this with *Follow Through* and your damage will be nutty. This is a kickass gun and way cooler and competitive against a fixer. And you don’t need 400 legendary modules to get it either!
Sorry, but not comparable. With a proper setup fixer commando can solo Earl under 2-3 minutes. This gun is just as usable as any other non-S-tier weapons - as good as a pile of scrip or any other gun that just serviceable. Realistically, you dont need a godroll gun to play 76. Most of the enemies solo dont require anyu build at all aside from damage cards matching your weapon type, and on most public events theres enough players to just tag enemies. The only place where minmaxing matters is bossfighting, and even there it matters only when theres very few people.
I honestly love the idea of bosses having a chance for a unique item, this is something I've always wanted, and I really hope they add more in the future as it will make the bosses feel much more rewarding rather than just being 3-star enemies with lots of health.

With Bethesda mentioning that they plan on some future weapon balancing, I’m hoping that this weapon is a test for these changes to come to all 10mm SMGs! I have a two shot, explosive, 15 reload 10mm SMG that would love all of that AP reduction 👀
I'm glad they actually made a version of the 10mm SMG usable. My Problems this though: 1) Cant re-roll, as someone who doesn't like to use VATS a lot, this gun doesn't work for me(Imagine this bad boy in Antiarmor or Aristocrat's with either FFR or EX!). 2) Bethesda showed us it can have a reflex sight on it, and suppress it, let us do the same to other 10MM SMGs!
keep in mind 10mm ammo is probably the second most common ammo in the entire game , you get it at level 1 ... personally as a commado i have been using the 10mmm machine gun to level up from level 1 to 50 and i never had any problems vs ANY enemy (the only enemy i struggled at, bellow level 50 was scorch beasts, but that is to be expected) durability is also nice, reload is crazy quick and the 30 ammo capacity should not be underestimated the extra range is also a very good bonus now , those of us who love the 10mm can actually look forward for an end game one also , not mentioned ... THE SOUND of the new gun is amazing !!!
Been doing the new events, trying to get my hands on this. No luck yet, I haven’t got my hands on a single new weapon yet. But best believe when I get that, I will be using it. Nice to finally have a suppressed 10 mm SMG in the game. Thanks for the info Turtle!!!!
Gotta say I really like the new weapons I have gotten so far. The lmg is a beast, with little recoil while aiming. The railway is my favorite, and I am glad it was not made bloody. Not a big melee player. Great video turtle. Keep it up 😊

Have you done any range tests with the new weapon range calculation? I thought from the patch notes that range wasn't quite as critical as it had been.
We need to be able to reroll the new weapons, all of the ones with hidden effects. It’s just that those of us who have played since forever have the red asylum the jackets the jumpsuits the railways the enclaves. We need a thing to be worth grinding and this scoreboard ain’t it, but if I could roll that 10 mm sub and retain the effects I would log on and stay on. It’s not like they will saturate the market in a year or less, extremely rare drop (I’ve done this fight 45ish times and didn’t know it had weapons as a possible drop) and even smaller chance to roll anything truest amazing.
The ATF has classified the recoil compensator on many weapons to be silencers recently requiring what would normally be typical to require registration and taxing. Jokes aside should we expect a nerf😂
@@JohnB-mo4kq they claim they are going off the design of the comp and if it resembles baffles it is classed as a silencer now. Edit I believe hk had a weapon that had a fixed compensator to extend the barrel to keep it from being classified as a SBR that brought this to their attention. They claim it could be sleeved and then be a silencer.

A great weapon, definitely on my farming list now. Probably what I will use until I am able to buy the gauss shotgun. Also looking forward to seeing the updated lazy commando build.
I've been using it and maybe it's my imagination but it feels like it has a secret stealth boost. I have the shirt barrel so have to get closer compared to my Fixer but I noticed that I'm not going into Danger much. Would love to see that tested when you do your lazy build. To me the Elders Mark is the closest competition but that burns .45 so fast. This is basically what the SMG should have been from the beginning. One minor gripe, I wish the aligned long barrel wasn't that ugly, the short version looks so much better. 😂
The suppressor is completely silent, unlike all others (except the 10mm pistol) which are only "quiet". For sneaky CQB shenanigans there's nothing better! If you pair it with a set of secret agent's armor you'll make as much noise as a mosquito fart in a hurricane.
I like the 10mm smg. I have 3 i use now, aa ffr, aa explosive and the perfect storm. Can't wait to give this one a try. Though I'll use the 40% armor penetration magazine. The 10mm smg is the only gun in the game with a 40% aa magazine that doesn't sacrifice ammo count
I like playing new characters and building them from a low level to high. This sounds like a super fun weapon to use as a low level if it could drop as a lvl 10 or 20 etc by getting lucky and sneaking into the nuke event!
Oh man that's awesome! I've loved the 10mm SMG for years now, and was fine with the iron sights and lack of suppressor for the most part. BUT, using a mod that adds a reflex sight really does make a huge difference and with this that won't be entirely necessary anymore. Shame it can't be rerolled like the Elder's Mark because it would be able to replace my vampire 10mm then but oh well.

I think from memory that there's about 27 mods for the 10 mm SMG. I figured out that the Ace is way better due to the sheer number of Level 50 Perfect Storm and Old Guard SMG's in players vendors I saw yesterday. Crazy amount of them! 🤣🤣🤣Picked up a few Perfect Storms insanely cheap, love the incendiary effect. I guess this tells me the Ace is an amazing gun.
Yes, it's a decent LMG with the hidden double ammo capacity, however against mobs I've found there are better rolls. For those that may not know you can get as a reward from Dangerous Pastimes event.👌
Hello i did get this weapon when appeared has 3 agility instead of 1, and my ap cost s 10 with same customization and parts.... someone knows why this happens? maybe since this vid was uplodded the smg was changed?
the ace is going to get a buff when the legendary crafting drops when that +1agi gets buffed to +3 as well. not game changing, but more AP is never a bad thing
Off topic, anybody know why I cannot craft the Hazmat suit ? It does not show on any workbench I know this was a bug about 5 years ago but I thought they fixed it.
reflex sight is best for vats use. scopes increase ap cost. I believe not being able to modify sights is what keeps 10mm smg out of meta. SO this is really cool
Yeah sure I’ll use it, for a couple of days and like many others, it will go in the stash, gathering dust 😂 I used the Perfect Storm for a while as a NPC healer but that’s it :)
Off topic, anyone else have to relearn the union jetpack plan? I learned it before the alantic city update bug. I have the blood eagle verti union PA with jet pack but now it says i havnt learned the plan when trying to craft a 2nd union PA.
I tried this and compared it to a bloodied handmade and an instigating fixer and it did not compare, it feels like the anchorage ace putting out less then half as much damage / dps as those weapons, maybe it is because my build is not 100%, only rank 1 commando cards, not using adrenaline, rank 1 legendary cards, but if those things affect all these weapons equally then it should be the same, fixer and handmade 1 or 2 tapping most enemies and achorage requiring 5-10 shots from stealth vats
The SMG is always going to have lower base damage on paper than fixer and handmade no matter what. Higher rate of fire of SMG compared to standard fixer and handmade is it's strong point. As for the Anchorage Ace the heavily reduced AP cost is the key as long as you use it in VATS. Use of the Ace outside of VATS is a bit of a waste. It's a decent weapon with ok effects, yeah but it's not the best.
Anyone else annoyed that the section of the new arc where you are in the mushroom caverns didn't care if you had a mask on that should have protected you from the environmental effects?
Had you changed the filters recently? Did you properly check and clear it when you put it on? Joking aside that was annoying burned so much ammo in there trying not to get staggered every few seconds.
Full power armor that lets you breathe underwater and is airtight, given it doesn't leak while you're underwater, so airborne biologicals shouldn't be inhaled or touched exposed skin...but trippppppyyyy maaaaan....
Im rocking a Q2525 and QE25 fixer and use a B E 15r smg and this gun is doing very well against them, with a higher capacity it would out DPS the fixer i recon. Beasty weapon
I got some unique 2 shot Tesla rifle from that dangerous past times event and I noticed it’s got double ammo capacity…don’t know how good it is I haven’t tried it yet
@@sh1v3msor run a few Atlantic City expeditions and get much more. I can do the broad walk one solo in like 7 minutes and net 100s of bullets, aswel as 1-2 modules do it a few times and hit my daily cap limit from stimpacks
I may not use it on one character. Hes got a better 10mm SMG that has furious and explosive rounds. But this one would be a fun option to play with on my other character who uses stealth
It’s possible to also just grind it out if you know how to farm exp, it’s totally possible for people to do all 100 levels in like 2 days of westek grinding.
Slightly off topic, but is the 25% extra damage while aiming actually work. I know its just the plain base damage but using the display damage numbers option shows no extra damage with a plasma gattling. Maybe it's just me but the figures are the same. I would expect maybe a 2 or 3 damage per shot increase displayed but its not.
The low damage really hurts it as a vats only weapon. My Junkie Explosive 10mm SMG does significantly more damage as a non vats weapon. So I would be using the Junkie 10mm until AA becomes rerollable.
Is there any hidden effects in the laser rifle that comes out in this update? I know the pts didnt show any, but maybe they buffed some weapons when they nerfed ticket to revenge
I was very sad to find out this was an event reward and not from the quests. Guess I'll have to make an offering to the RNG Mothman to try and get one. 10mm SMG is my main weapon and this seems like an essential upgrade.
incredible they never got around to adding a silencer to the 10mm SMG really annoyed there's no Guerilla skill version of this (i.e. pistol grip) just for variety

It has two unique paints btw not just the white one. You can change between them in the paint option in the workbench.

yeah the Red Terror also comes with an alternate skin, really interesting as I think these are the first two uniques that have alternate skins

If modded with a stub barrel, no paint, standard sights, and no stock, kinda reminds me of Sleepytime 10mm smg from Fallout New Vegad

It took a month and about 160 rolls, but I set out and succeeded to roll a 10mm smg explosive quad...Its a good close quarters weapon.

Bethesda, put in DIGGING, and CUSTOM PAINTS players can make themselves. ? GIVE PLAYERS POWER, and watch what happens to your bottom line.

Originally I thought the regular 10mm sub was getting reduced ap with a suppressive mod. This still works without a doubt.
So this must be why the Railway Rifle got its sidegrade in the PTS, it was all for this sudden explosive appearance of this weapon.
Oh, nice 6 AP only 1 point higher than eldermark with -25%AP cost. I really look forward to getting this weapon ever since from data mine.

I figured out that the Ace is way better due to the sheer number of Level 50 Perfect Storm and Old Guard SMG's in players vendors I saw yesterday. Crazy amount of them! 🤣🤣🤣Picked up a few Perfect Storms insanely cheap, love the incendiary effect. I guess this tells me the Ace is an amazing gun.

Yes, it's a decent LMG with the hidden double ammo capacity, however against mobs I've found there are better rolls. For those that may not know you can get as a reward from Dangerous Pastimes event.👌

I have a NICE bloodied explosive 10mm smg that’s just itching to have a reflex sight on it. Hopefully someday in the future.

Hello i did get this weapon when appeared has 3 agility instead of 1, and my ap cost s 10 with same customization and parts.... someone knows why this happens? maybe since this vid was uplodded the smg was changed?

the ace is going to get a buff when the legendary crafting drops when that +1agi gets buffed to +3 as well. not game changing, but more AP is never a bad thing
Off topic, anybody know why I cannot craft the Hazmat suit ? It does not show on any workbench I know this was a bug about 5 years ago but I thought they fixed it.

reflex sight is best for vats use. scopes increase ap cost. I believe not being able to modify sights is what keeps 10mm smg out of meta. SO this is really cool

Off topic, anyone else have to relearn the union jetpack plan? I learned it before the alantic city update bug. I have the blood eagle verti union PA with jet pack but now it says i havnt learned the plan when trying to craft a 2nd union PA.

Got this my second time doing one of the new events.
I tried this and compared it to a bloodied handmade and an instigating fixer and it did not compare, it feels like the anchorage ace putting out less then half as much damage / dps as those weapons, maybe it is because my build is not 100%, only rank 1 commando cards, not using adrenaline, rank 1 legendary cards, but if those things affect all these weapons equally then it should be the same, fixer and handmade 1 or 2 tapping most enemies and achorage requiring 5-10 shots from stealth vats
The SMG is always going to have lower base damage on paper than fixer and handmade no matter what. Higher rate of fire of SMG compared to standard fixer and handmade is it's strong point. As for the Anchorage Ace the heavily reduced AP cost is the key as long as you use it in VATS. Use of the Ace outside of VATS is a bit of a waste. It's a decent weapon with ok effects, yeah but it's not the best.
Anyone else annoyed that the section of the new arc where you are in the mushroom caverns didn't care if you had a mask on that should have protected you from the environmental effects?
Had you changed the filters recently? Did you properly check and clear it when you put it on? Joking aside that was annoying burned so much ammo in there trying not to get staggered every few seconds.
Full power armor that lets you breathe underwater and is airtight, given it doesn't leak while you're underwater, so airborne biologicals shouldn't be inhaled or touched exposed skin...but trippppppyyyy maaaaan....

Im rocking a Q2525 and QE25 fixer and use a B E 15r smg and this gun is doing very well against them, with a higher capacity it would out DPS the fixer i recon. Beasty weapon

So far, I've gotten the laser rifle and this gun in 4 runs. Trying for the Gatling Laser.
I got some unique 2 shot Tesla rifle from that dangerous past times event and I noticed it’s got double ammo capacity…don’t know how good it is I haven’t tried it yet
They should make all of them re rollable like the elders mark so there's more things you can do with it
Fixer is slightly better because you can roll any stats you want.

Fixer is much better but this is still good weapon.
Just take fixer to daily ops or West tek and throw nuka grenades for free ammo
Never had issues farming ammo since daily ops
@@sh1v3msor run a few Atlantic City expeditions and get much more. I can do the broad walk one solo in like 7 minutes and net 100s of bullets, aswel as 1-2 modules do it a few times and hit my daily cap limit from stimpacks
How do you get fixer damage of 119? Most I get is 101, normally 84

What build you are using? I’m using the railrifle build and my heads crits goes from 90 to 140… I don’t really know what I’m doing wrong lol
The calibrated receiver reduces my damage to 54. The severe receiver does 59 for me. What makes the calibrated one better?
I may not use it on one character. Hes got a better 10mm SMG that has furious and explosive rounds. But this one would be a fun option to play with on my other character who uses stealth

It’s possible to also just grind it out if you know how to farm exp, it’s totally possible for people to do all 100 levels in like 2 days of westek grinding.
There are ppl out there they do it in 5-6 hours legit

Slightly off topic, but is the 25% extra damage while aiming actually work. I know its just the plain base damage but using the display damage numbers option shows no extra damage with a plasma gattling. Maybe it's just me but the figures are the same. I would expect maybe a 2 or 3 damage per shot increase displayed but its not.

The low damage really hurts it as a vats only weapon. My Junkie Explosive 10mm SMG does significantly more damage as a non vats weapon. So I would be using the Junkie 10mm until AA becomes rerollable.
PERFECT STORM has 68 damage plus 48 burn damage , i believe this is far better.

Is there any hidden effects in the laser rifle that comes out in this update? I know the pts didnt show any, but maybe they buffed some weapons when they nerfed ticket to revenge
I was very sad to find out this was an event reward and not from the quests. Guess I'll have to make an offering to the RNG Mothman to try and get one. 10mm SMG is my main weapon and this seems like an essential upgrade.
