Anchorage Ace is a unique 10mm submachine gun that drops from the event, "Neurological Warfare". It has mods that aren't available on other 10mm SMGs. Let's test it out.

I feel like a lot people sleep on executioners because they don’t realize that the 50% boost is multiplicative, not additive. So it’s a lot more than the 50% additive bonus you get from say, Aristocrats or Junkies.
AA works the same way..

Because it's not part of the "meta" and it involves the dreaded "thinking" thing. Then you get the youtubers pushing the same build, using the same weapons, with the same tactics/game play style. So yeah, a lot of good weapons get slept on because of this.
@@chadwickfoley730 couldn't have said it better myself. When ex kicks im headshot critting for around 950ish. Bloodied handmade for around 1050ish. So yeah 😅 not much of a difference on trash mobs.
The listed legendaries may not be the "bestest", but the unlisted effects are what do it.

I've been loving this gun. I always use it in weaker areas. My fixer is ultracite so it saves lots of ammo on weaker enemies.
Plus it just feels really good to use
I been using the Perfect Storm for a good while now and it has served me pretty well. But if I ever get the Anchorage Ace I might retire my Perfect Storm.

+50 VATS hit chance is an awesome star that a lot of people ignore. I've vendor hopped and gotten so many great weapons for a few caps that people toss.
I found a Q50H25 railway yesterday for 2k caps 😅 felt kinda bad buying it but I didn't own one with hit so yeah. "Never know what hit 'em".

I had red terror on my first attempt and haven't had anything since.
I've gotten the laser rifle and the 10mm subbie from my 1st and 2nd event...maybe I'm just extremely lucky ;p
I've gotten the helga gatling laser like 3 times, the anchorage ace once and none of the others. I found the bertha tesla (the only one besides this gun that i was interested in) in a vendor for 8k and bought it. Worth it
I had Ace drop during my 1st run in day 1 and I sold it. I’ve had multiples of every other weapon and haven’t seen Ace drop again 😐
I’ve done the event 3 times so far. Got Ace, Olga and a camp plan.
I was lucky and got this on my very first nuke drop. But not had nothing apart from apparel since. I've played with Perf and piercing mags but took it back to the quick mag.
If you do expeditions you do come out with a little more ammo than you started.
I have started turning in arrows in the ammo converter from my archer character and will transfer some 10mm ammo over to my commando
It's a cute weapon. I've been using it during wave events. It does the job fairly well.
the supressor with this one is actually better than on nay other ranged gun AND doesnt reduce range so it has high range and is completely silent instead of just "quiet" in the code
Must say I noticed that I stay hidden or in caution for longer than when using my Fixer. Well it feels that way. Almost like it has a hidden stealth boost similar to the Fixers one.

I’m maining 1 of these on my lower level alt and it’s pretty fun. I keep a Handmade in case things get too hairy though. My high level guy runs a Holy Fire/Cremator and the change of pace is nice.
This is my new Stealth Commando weapon. I've got quite a bit of 10mm ammo to use up.
The Ace has been a godsend for me. I just wish there was a poker paint I could apply to it
Feels like a good backup weapon for a stealth rifle or fixer since it saves other ammo use when you switch to it
Anchorage Ace must be integrally suppressed then

I still think it's a bit of a novelty. I have a few 10mms i like, my favorite being aa, explosive, crit charge. Put on the 40% armor penetration mag and it's nasty and you don't have to wait for 40% health for the damage

10mm's just eat too much ammo cus the damage is so low. my Quad just gobbles up ammo, and i feel like enemies dont give you back near what you use to take them down.
It's so worth it though.
Ammo factory legendary, plus ammo crafter perk, plus lucky crafting perk. Never worry about ammo again.
I’d go for stealth VATS headshots for most of the damage. It’s my current off-perk weapon for me.
10mm is the cheapest ammo to get. And Anchorage Ace doesn't burn it as fast as a regular 10mm because it kills so quickly.
@@GreatNinjaman I just think it's funny these guys have never heard of a quad. Like I barely even notice my ammo stacks until I'm at like 900 arrows or something dumb.
I wonder how it stands up to The Fixer, which is my go-to at the moment. Any theorycrafters out there?
It doesnt have anything on any of the god rolled Fixers. Fixer still stands alone really with handmade, Railway sadly.
Yeah depends on what you want, 120 explosive smg bullets is a lot of daka especially into the new world bosses which can't be dpsed and sustained dmg is more valuable.

As someone whos using this this gun seems to be being slept on... Is it great for big ememies nah but its godsend for wandering around and not wasting the good ammo on a swarm of ghouls or a raider camp... Due to how many times youll probably have to fight the robots to get it tho i say dont sell it for less than 5k caps people have bought 3 from me for 5k-8k caps also think before you sell some things for scrip vaule some people will pay more than scrip for that

I realy wanted this to be goo im ful health comando but the stopping power is just not there unfortunatly, Ive been luck to have tested all of the new weapons (apart from heavy) and the only viable options for me atlease are the new railway rifle and the new tesla they both hit like a truck with the right perks, I just wish they made atlease one or 2 rerollable like the elders mark as i would love to play with a decent silenced smg

Hey Wiggle how do you have 360 ap on a full health build? I'm full health myself and even with ultra light build on my armor and the additional 10 ap given by the Anchorage Ace agility perk I'm only at 280
I use Herd Mentality and Bird Bones for extra agility. I also use Shielded Road Leathers for extra agility. There are also food buffs for extra AP and extra agility.

No, he means during some events, stealth is disabled, such as the new boss event you can not get stealth bonuses there.

Damn. That's pretty unlucky. I'd also check player vendors. I know quite a few people have found them cheaply that way.

I didn't compare them. This one felt better though. The extra range makes a difference.

I have been using the Perfect Storm ,cause it has the incendiary rounds, really wish that incendiary rounds would be available for more weapons 🦝
