Submachine guns are so cracked with the single effect of 60% armour penetration. It’s insane that I haven’t realized before how good they were. Just created a bloodied but I’m gonna try to get a vampires.

I got two of these and some holy fires and started rolling them last night and came up with some pretty good rolls out of 100 modules that I ran through. Got two anti armor elders marks.
Don't sleep on the explosive ones, I rolled a VE version and it does really, really well. I also suspect that the VATS % is not correct on this weapon. Mine seems to hit a lot even when it is like 12%
The AP cost for this is so low that its almost a waste to have lower AP cost as the third star , sorta like the railway used to be , I rolled a QE15c and 15c as the third star has benefitted me more.
has anyone noticed that damage from enemies has increased especially from robots, since the game was updated. with power armor of 500 energy resistance, they didn't take anything of my health, now it's abnormally taking away my health, especially the robots??

I put all the perks together well, but not well enough to pass the nuclear launch by myself, my plan was after 200 to upgrade all the legendary perks to 5 to make the mission against the robots easier, but after this update, I have no chance now

For some reason, I think I obtained one when the event for it first launched, and not knowing how good it was, I traded it for scrip. After seeing this video when it came out a month ago, I've been trying to get one, but the event where it drops just doesn't seem to happen that much anymore, but yesterday, I finally found one for sale at a guy's camp vending machine. Now, I just have to roll a faster fire rate/-AP cost, and I'm set. I'm now running with an Elders Mark, a Quad/Explosive/+1 Perception Railway Rifle, a Quad/+50% Crit Dmg/+15% Reload Speed Tesla Rifle (Yes, I know how awesome this gun is! :), a Furious Prime Enclave Plasma Rifle (w/aligned flamer barrel:), and a Nuka Cola Grenade Launcher. I just have to re-roll the Elders Mark as mentioned, as well as the Enclave Plasma Rifle and the Nuka Cola Grenade Launcher, and I'm all set for weaponry for a while. :)
We have Ammo factory legendary perk card. There is absolutely no reason players should be complaining about making bullets and holding onto the bullets (ammo storage box with Fo1st). Sorry, but people literally just bitch to just bitch. Some people knew that people would still complain about ammo. We found another one, guys! There is literally not a hole lot to do in this game… so doing a single run or two to “Rusty Hole Mine” is very inviting now-a-days. Before I’d have to do a run everyday because I was using a freaken junkies 1star mini, while doing bosses every hour with a friend group. lmao.

Can really see a good combo of explosive fixer/Handmade for open areas and eldersmark for close quarters. You get detected much easier when running explosive and in close quarters range is no issue. Also great for crowd Control.
So is weapon speed and fire rate the same thing? This was confusing me as I rolled a few fixers with weapon speed but the fire rate didnt show any changes.
Are you getting the Elder's Mark with those rolls from the event or from rolling it in a weapons bench? If the later, what's the base effects for the base Elders Mark?
He is re rolling them at a weapon workbench . It drops from the Beast of Burden event with the same effects everytime just like all the other new named weapons. The elders mark drops with Furious, 25 weapon speed , 15 faster reload +the hidden cursed effect. The cursed effect always stays with Submachine Gun even if it's re rolled .

i think i'll stick with my B2525 god roll fixer but might try rolling for a good elders mark in the meanwhile, its not like ammo is a problem but higher firerate + lower dmg means you burn through ammo a lot quicker, which would mean i have to take more with for a bossfight for example, so more weight. certainly a good weapon though and ill do some testing if it fits into my build
i always though that tommy gun and the normal assault rifle are not that good and handmade or fixer where better but an tommy gun this good i gotta get my hands on that

You can get the fixer below 5 ap usage. Mine is 4, but I can make it 3 changing the magazine mod. Same for the handmade which blew my mind because I always thought you couldn’t get the ap usage close, especially not low as, the fixer.
So much to weigh/balance... armor penetration on a curve based on weapon damage anyway, so higher per shot damage equals "auto armor pen" in a sense. Time on target with AP cost with many mobs or a boss. I think you may use a bit more ammo, but they increased ammo rewards. Looks like Elder's is about even with Fixer. So, all about the style now!
Your gonna want an elders mark. It's the cursed effects that make it a competitive weapon. Even the stock one will be better than the reg. Version Tommy you have. That said, its still a cool roll.
Actually, I feel certain right now ternal that your armor penetration on the weapon around your armor penetration from the legendary effect will be additive. Tag killer will not, and you don’t really need a tank killer
I'd go with thompson, as it's way more aesthetically pleasing to eyes. Fixer is efficient, but so ugly being an unholy mutant of clone of PPSH and BAR combined.

Yeah a dropped elders mark comes with “furious”. But you can re roll the weapon to have different set of legendary effects. The cursed affect is not removed.
I purchase these on vendors no matter their price and I have 30 now . Best small arm in the game arguably most versatile period . More and more rare these become as the event never drops frequently. Plus it’s not a guaranteed drop . This is by far more fun and effective vs. a fixer with same rolls. Also the rolls to consider are anything with less APC . Outside of that go FFR or Explosive. IMO after that it’s all a bonus I use a suppressors 25 FFR/25 APC and an executioners explosive/25 apc. the important part is 25 less APC as the cursed effect puts this one over the top.
What is your platform? I visit every player's vendor but I can't get a Elder's Mark (PS4) It's impossible idk why and I got the weapon from a Event at first but I Traded it for a Bloody Handmade (I didn't have a good main weapon before)
Just rolled a Quad-Explosive-90% weight Elders Mark first roll and just sold my old Anti armor 50% crit elders mark that was over pen with 110% anti armor with the mag
I have a couple questions. I see you use company tea and corn soup. But I noticed that corn soup overrides company tea in AP regen. Do they stack? Same thing with overdrive and psychotats do they still stack? Seems like one disappears. Ty and much love from California 😁
i have always liked Thompson subs they are actually very fun used to use them when me and some friends used to farm nuked white springs there a reason i collect them i had the elder before it even came out including ae qe 2525 etc nearly all rolls :)
Oops i got one and scripped it holy fore in its native state works for me nicely i normally dont use commando build if im not chainsawing or auto chopping green boys i use an aae lever action in vats and it works great one hit wonder outside events but maybe ill have to try and get a couple before teusday when the reset hits and try this out
It won't replace my fixer, but I think I'll keep one of these around. I have bunches of them. It's fun to shoot something different from time to time. I had some fun with the gun from Tunnel of Love, but it ate up too much ammo and had bad range. The Elder's Mark seems better than the Tunnel of Love gun.
I love my Love Tap gun. Downed a scorchbeast and melted it yesterday, thanks to Angry Turtle's stealth commando build plus Excavator Power Armor.. If this is better than it's a real hoot!
Melted a legendary scorchbeast with my vampire Love Tap today. My vampire fire chainsaw is now on the bank. 45 ammo is cheap to make and the gun is lighter than the chainsaw.
I rolled an AA explosive Elder’s Mark, but I don’t find it better than my Anti Armor fast fire Handmade or Anti Armor Fast Fire Fixer. Maybe its default attributes (furious etc) are better suited for it.
So what's the difference between the elders mark and a regular 3 star tommy gun? Is it just cursed? Will re rolling the elders mark remove the cursed effect?

there's a bunch new effects they all have extra effects making them better than regular counterparts, when it say nothing under legendary effects it will be cursed
I have an aristocrats last shot 25 less ap. And a AA vats hit chance with 50% weapon dura. Love both of them. Need a B5025 tho. I had a quad ffr but re rolled it as the crits didn't register
but does it preform any good in non stealth commando build? back when i was using the normal submachine gun with non stealth build it was okay-ish. now i do wonder if the Elder's mark is may better at that
So if the prefix is the least important perk, would a vampire's be viable? The healing would be low, but the high fire rate and lower down time might keep you alive.
It’s a fun gun but no, despite what Turtle and many others say it can not compete with the Fixer (or Handmade) due to one single mod = perforating magazine. Not being able to apply that extra 40% AA to the Elders means it’s no competition to the meta.
The range is what's bothering me. I was thinking of changing my handmade with it but if I want to use it on events, I have to be quick from any range. So sad because I really like how steady and strong it is
glad that last one from tunnel of love was a complete let down. fixer or just a good affix combat rifle/sniper sharing the .45 ammo type did better damage than it.
I got a be1p roll on this but it seems kinda meh Pretty much requires you get 25lvc to really shine because of how fast it can drain your ap since its fr is so high
I may have to reinstall the game to get this. But then I remember how many hours I spent grinding and re-rolling chainsaws to get a good roll without ever getting what I really wanted, and now they've nerfed the chainsaw. Kinda kills my fun.
there is a big issue with faster fire rate atm tho i play a bloodied faster fire rare less vats elders mark and public servers tend to drop most of the dps, on private server i shred everything but lag on public just renders all that dps kinda useless...
I don’t agree with these weapons as they aren’t new weapons it just a skin with tweaks. So why don’t Bethesda save time and just make it a skin with added perks so you can apply to already existing weapons you’ve collected. In return one less item in stash no carry weight added and less of a grind for the same weapon you already have and existing weapon may become more useful with the skin applied with the option to revert back to stock

Cursed not only adds dmg but also increases fire rate, so thats why the ROF goes up that much

Yes. Absolutely. I have been getting wrecked by Robots after the update. But I don't really mind. It just forces me to be smarter when facing robots.

On my commando build I prefer using my quad 2525 pipe rifle. I have the fixer and HM in the same. The pipe is just more fun and feels more fallout.

This gun was a pleasant surprise. I prefer to run and gun rather than sit back at range as a commando, so I usually use this over my fixer now

Bandolier is your friend. For just 2 card slots you get pretty much unlimited ammo capacity.
I feel ya. I also run b2525, and it's realllllly ammo efficient

AP cost for my fixer is 3-4 with the -25% ap cost depending what mag I am using, but this looks very decent

How does Explosive compare for the second star? I have an AA/E/durability EM.

You need to try it with 50 probability on vats, that increases a lot of the range like 15% or 20%
I was using this for a while and actually ran through the 8000 .45 I had saved up . It is great but a real bullet-hose.
It's basically a souped-up spray and pray from Fallout 4

Oops i got one and scripped it holy fore in its native state works for me nicely i normally dont use commando build if im not chainsawing or auto chopping green boys i use an aae lever action in vats and it works great one hit wonder outside events but maybe ill have to try and get a couple before teusday when the reset hits and try this out

It won't replace my fixer, but I think I'll keep one of these around. I have bunches of them. It's fun to shoot something different from time to time. I had some fun with the gun from Tunnel of Love, but it ate up too much ammo and had bad range. The Elder's Mark seems better than the Tunnel of Love gun.
I love my Love Tap gun. Downed a scorchbeast and melted it yesterday, thanks to Angry Turtle's stealth commando build plus Excavator Power Armor.. If this is better than it's a real hoot!
Melted a legendary scorchbeast with my vampire Love Tap today. My vampire fire chainsaw is now on the bank. 45 ammo is cheap to make and the gun is lighter than the chainsaw.
I rolled an AA explosive Elder’s Mark, but I don’t find it better than my Anti Armor fast fire Handmade or Anti Armor Fast Fire Fixer. Maybe its default attributes (furious etc) are better suited for it.
So what's the difference between the elders mark and a regular 3 star tommy gun? Is it just cursed?

It doesn’t remove the cursed effect. In a previous video he showed us re-rolling them.
Does even fire rate matter? I mean because the server lag and stuff.

Yeah it's a trade off.. Guess it's fine as a secondary weap for close quarters.

He means that the weapons can drop with it, but it's random. There are not weapons that always drop with it
Pretty sure the elders mark always drops with the cursed effects, but not all the new weapons have a cursed effect.
there's a bunch new effects they all have extra effects making them better than regular counterparts, when it say nothing under legendary effects it will be cursed
Why is my Elders mark damage so much lower? With maxed commando perks it still only like 55
I know that backpack drops from the new events but does that outfit drop from them as well? If not where can you get it from?

I have an aristocrats last shot 25 less ap.
And a AA vats hit chance with 50% weapon dura. Love both of them. Need a B5025 tho. I had a quad ffr but re rolled it as the crits didn't register
but does it preform any good in non stealth commando build? back when i was using the normal submachine gun with non stealth build it was okay-ish. now i do wonder if the Elder's mark is may better at that
It's fine as non stealth. I don't spec into stealth at all and it holds its own just fine

generally it scales with some bonuses check my shredder guide for details and keep in mind current patch broke bash damage so we need to wait for fix

So if the prefix is the least important perk, would a vampire's be viable? The healing would be low, but the high fire rate and lower down time might keep you alive.

It’s a fun gun but no, despite what Turtle and many others say it can not compete with the Fixer (or Handmade) due to one single mod = perforating magazine. Not being able to apply that extra 40% AA to the Elders means it’s no competition to the meta.
60% is better than 40%

It really is I had so much fun playing around with it.
I've rolled aristocrat explosive 15fr and with fire rate at 100 explosive bullets it slaps.

The range is what's bothering me. I was thinking of changing my handmade with it but if I want to use it on events, I have to be quick from any range. So sad because I really like how steady and strong it is
The range numbers are low, but even with low vats percentages it seems to hit quite a lot.
glad that last one from tunnel of love was a complete let down. fixer or just a good affix combat rifle/sniper sharing the .45 ammo type did better damage than it.
I got a be1p roll on this but it seems kinda meh
Pretty much requires you get 25lvc to really shine because of how fast it can drain your ap since its fr is so high

I may have to reinstall the game to get this. But then I remember how many hours I spent grinding and re-rolling chainsaws to get a good roll without ever getting what I really wanted, and now they've nerfed the chainsaw. Kinda kills my fun.

there is a big issue with faster fire rate atm tho i play a bloodied faster fire rare less vats elders mark and public servers tend to drop most of the dps, on private server i shred everything but lag on public just renders all that dps kinda useless...
Wow...looks like a great hip fire weapon for dungeons where everything is close.
I don’t agree with these weapons as they aren’t new weapons it just a skin with tweaks. So why don’t Bethesda save time and just make it a skin with added perks so you can apply to already existing weapons you’ve collected. In return one less item in stash no carry weight added and less of a grind for the same weapon you already have and existing weapon may become more useful with the skin applied with the option to revert back to stock
That quad cap with ap cost is slick as ice...turtle man I'm up to my neck in trying to roll gear and you drop this in my face lol.
