I recently got Maul and he's SO GOOD for my setup with the Carnivore mutation. He often sells Stingwing and Deathclaw meat which saves me having to hunt them for the strength buff, and he also often sells squirrel bits so I can keep a good stock of the tasty squirrel stew. Even better now that the cryo freezer is a thing so that I can just stash a lot of them!
now we have adelaide, Adelaide's daily buff is known as Human/Robot Interfacing. It lasts for an hour. The player will take 25% less damage from robots, and do 15% more damage against robots and she grants the lover's hug too
Playing as a raider, I use Raider Punk in my CAMP. But I also think they should redo the allies stuff by allowing us to put one ally on our CAMP, and all our allies on our Vault, to make it more alive. Of course, you could only have one daily quest from them. But actually for me, it's a waste. Lot of allies I would never use because they don't purely fit to my CAMP theme, when I could park them in my Vault as random or slaves
Grandma can give you an XP buff too, there were a few times where she wouldn't give me the bubblegum buf she can give you different fed buffs one of them gives you XP buff at least that is what happened to me yesterday
You can only get the food buff once every 24 hours I believe. So you might as well just use perfect bubblegum since you can use another one when it runs out. All allies give you the XP buff for sleeping, kindred spirit, I think it's called.
I use the forager in my camp only because his attitude, look and demeanour fit with my camp. I don't use him for anything other than aesthetic look of a grumpy old man retiring in my cabin in the woods with memorabilia of hunts and mounted heads with a garden and hot tub. Nice relaxing place.
Yasmin cooks up a mean turtle soup at my camp 👍 if you equip the Ogua back pack while eating the buff is you walk really really slow but can swim really fast just like a turtle 👍
All companions should be able to stay in a shelter. It would liven up the environment and you could take advantage of all the bonuses. Dress everyone in crypt clothes and a pipboy on their hands ;)
Joey will also often sell you the cuckoo clock plan and the marquee arrows. You can also get the paddle ball paddle from him (if you want to play with it lol) there is also a funny note you can buy from him sometimes called "GET RICH QUICK" it's just a note that says sell this note for 100 caps or something, basically encouraging you to sell your dumb note for 100 caps to "get rich" when you already bought it from him for that lol
I could understand the low bugf timers if you could talk to any ally in the game. Since you can only speak to your own allies, then the short timers make no sense.
Thanks Angry Turtle, this was a really useful video. Also, it's worth nothing that some of these Allies give a nice reward at the end of the quest chain. For Example, Beckett gives the "Final Word" heavy gun, which is a pretty nice weapon.
Great video. Timestamps would be helpful though. The wanderer ally does offer the kindred spirit buff after you build your affinity with her. Once that happens, sleeping in your camp until you are well rested while she is active replaces the well rested with kindred spirit. It's a three hour +5% XP buff...so pretty good especially for new players. She also has some pretty good quest rewards. Subscribed.
Leo's AP regen +25% is not that special, because you can only get it from him only once per day. You can get similar AP regen +25 buff (not +25%) many times during one day just by playing musical instrument to become Well Tuned anyway.
With both Sofia and Beckett, if you romance them, then sleep in your camp bed, you gain the "Lover's Embrace" perk. Lover's Embrace replaces the Rested perk, however it will last for 180 minutes rather than 60. When sleeping, the player character will obtain one or the other, but not both. Experience gain is increased by five percent for the duration of three real-world hours.
You forgot beckett and Sofia have the lovers embrace perk when sleeping at your camp if you have followed the flirt promts, that's a 5% xp boost for 3 hours. It does reset if you go down but resting again resets it
You can craft food that has poison resistance. Cave fungus soup you can craft from the cave fungus you get from the proletariat collectron. Your are the master Turtle!! Love ya!
I have a camp built around the half plane prefab , I managed to put my hot tub on the roof of the plane only accessible by jetpack . Would that mean that the ally would not be able to reach their station making it far easier to Do the turtle ally swap buff technique??
You forgot about the fact that if you romance Sofia and go to sleep in your camp while she is an active ally (with romance) she gives you a 3 hour +5% bonus XP... the buff is called lover's embrace 💯💯💯
Ty , I’ve found 5, just started playing a month ago. About to hit level 50, soon and still feel like I’m clueless. I was wondering if there were more Allies. Mine don’t offer me anything, maybe I need to do more of their quests.
Scarberry (mothman enjoyer) selling blood packs which is usefull if you want to complete scout badge achievement with crafting antibiotics, blood packs is not that common and pretty hard to find or buy somewhere, so he can save you tons of time acquiring them
My personal favorite is Daphne since, in my opinion, she's the most unique with her being a child and all, I also can't help but feel bad for this orphan kid lol.
I had no idea there were so many, i really need a change from grandma Junko, i can't take the 'HELLO DEAAARIEE!!! in my ear when i least expect it anymore
I would love to get more allies like Beckett with his own quest line, I did his missions with all my characters, 'cause I really love his story, but after we did it, he doesn't adds something special to the camp. I think his bar could add caps after some time passed or something.
You forgot about Commander Daguerre's buff. If you constantly flirt her during her main questline... Later if she is in your camp, and you sleep in the bed you'll have the Lovers Embrace buff. +5%XP
How many of the allies allow repeated buffs per day? EDIT: I wasn't aware of the romancing XP buff users have been mentioning here. Learn something new every day! I'll have to do it when XP grinding. Leo: I've used his cranberry buff, but only once a day is a "boomer." As for AP, Fever Blossom tea is enough. Joey: his Live and Love resource is nice, but (I've heard) there's really only one way to get a sufficient supply of magazines and bobbleheads, which will not be mentioned. Steven: the Mothman buff is helpful for an hour - can it be renewed the same day? I've never used him. Quest allies: I've never gotten a good reward grinding them. Unfortunately, I'm not attracted to Daguerre. Yasmin: as a higher level player, I've got all the necessary recipes and have learned how to grind them effectively.
The cook is the best one.She is an amazing shooter defending your camp. Also, she's just like ANY ally by giving you an extra hour of exp 5% buff. And these 5% xp are the ONLY buff I care about - period.
So im still fairly new to the game. Outside of paying for him is there a quest line still available to get Leo or otger quest related companions. Thanks for your great guides @Angryturtle
I've done Commander Daguerre's daily quests and 7 times out of 10 I end up getting a legendary weapon I once got a bloodied Alien Blaster and an vampires explosive Gatling plasma
I have gone with the raider punk for so long. I feel bad not having him. I always make a really nice room or tent for him in my camp. He has a nice bed he has games to play. He has computer set up to do his work, and almost every quest does give me a legendary and occasionally a three star legendary. I mean that’s 40 script so it’s not a buff and it’s only once a day. That said, I would love for someone to drop a nuke and hear him yell in my camp. Dammit I’m dropping a grumper what the hell?

Just make sure to sleep in your camp with her as she gives you an extra hour to the xp buff time
Thanks for the list Turtle! I've been struggling to choose from all the new allies. This helps a lot.
Solomon is the best defender, he uses an automatic combat rifle, and throws grenades.
Sam Nguyen is listed as carrying a combat rifle also, but he only used a wrench in my tests.
If you have 2 or 3 camps with a different ally at each one you only have to activate them to change allies.
Yeah but then they're naked.

Some specific uses (e.g., Beckett for Nuka-Cola for crafting).
The player will take 25% less damage from robots, and do 15% more damage against robots
and she grants the lover's hug too
To be fair, solomon is armed with a combat rifle, so he'd be perfect for a scorched earth event camp
Daphne gives out caps buff too but during the day time, night time for magazines.
I believe it grants extra caps in loot able boxes, I've also seen an increase of caps in cap stash boxes too. @@Talons97
@@Talons97it gives more caps from cap stashes and canned goods from food containers 👍
@@Talons97 yes and I also would assume that it stacks with the cap colleter perk.
there IS a buff for commander deguerre. if you sleep in a bed, you get a buff called lovers embrace. it gives you a 5% XP buff for 3 hours
I think of all of the things I have neglected in Fallout 76, allies are #1. I keep meaning to “Get around” to my allies so this is great subject. ❤🤘
Pull my finger
@@poptarget okay
Yasmin cooks up a mean turtle soup at my camp 👍 if you equip the Ogua back pack while eating the buff is you walk really really slow but can swim really fast just like a turtle 👍
I really wish guests aka other players could interact with the allies. Maybe not to get the buffs. But at least to buy stuff.
That would make the 4000bullion unnecessary...
Steven is S tier no doubt since his buff can stack with Leo and all other experience buffs
All companions should be able to stay in a shelter. It would liven up the environment and you could take advantage of all the bonuses. Dress everyone in crypt clothes and a pipboy on their hands ;)
You can also romance Beckett, I'm juggling him and Sofia at the moment
Don't underestimate Mama Junko. She is fierce with that rolling pin!
Wish they would make it like the old fallout games and the allies follow you around the world and give you special perks at full companionship.
Becket’s main quest gets you the Final Word 50cal. A very solid legendary effects for a 50cal (AA, Rapid, Resilient).
imagine having 16 npc in your camp, that could interact with guests players
Lol the nightmare of looping monologues....
I have stuck with Beckett because of the interesting missions and large amounts of Nuka Cola.
Xerxo is great when the Treasure Hunter event is on and you're bouncing around buying pails.
faster and cheaper to go to whitesprings mall, buy them all, and server hop to do it again
I could understand the low bugf timers if you could talk to any ally in the game. Since you can only speak to your own allies, then the short timers make no sense.
Allies Tier List:
S - Joey (Dmg Resist), Leo (Nuka Inspiration),
A - Steven (+5 XP), Grandma (Stops Hunger and Thirst),
B - Maul (Melee), Daphne (Luck), Yasmin (Chef)
C - Solomon (Medic), Sam (Tune-Up 130% Repair), | Wanderer, Forager, Beckett, Sofia, Commander D, Raider Punk (All Daily Quests), | Xerxo (+1 Agility, Fewer Caps fast traveling),
D - Kat (Alien Astronomer)
Thanks Angry Turtle, this was a really useful video. Also, it's worth nothing that some of these Allies give a nice reward at the end of the quest chain. For Example, Beckett gives the "Final Word" heavy gun, which is a pretty nice weapon.
I'm fairly sure scarberry's xp buff stacks with the path to enlightenment buff if you have scarberry's first
Great video.
Do they stack?
Would that mean that the ally would not be able to reach their station making it far easier to
Do the turtle ally swap buff technique??
Maul, occasionally has plans for tenserizer, salt, pepper and the last one I don't remember 😅
Leo Petrov also occasionally sells the Nuka dark recipe and the Nuka girl rug plan.
17:31 wow, before I even saw this video I was already doing this. But awesome video I didn't even know there was this many allies.
beckett is also a romance allie, and thank you, I needed one magazine, put my daphne in my camp AAAANNND she had it. now I need only 2 to complete all
Yasmín is S-tier for low level players, she not only sells rare food but also recipes, which are super valuable when you’re starting out.
Isn't Becket and Sofia the only 2 romance followers? You get lovers embrace which gives you a 3 or more hours of exp buff for sleeping
You forgot about the fact that if you romance Sofia and go to sleep in your camp while she is an active ally (with romance) she gives you a 3 hour +5% bonus XP... the buff is called lover's embrace 💯💯💯
Wow! That grandma buff is great.
The Wander Sleeps "Next" to you when you sleep at your camp and the xp buff last the longest in the game
Playing the Wander's instrument gives the AP regen buff as well.
Sam sells the Recall Circuit Board, which is essential for people who want to launch Nukes. You really didn't take that into account.
Maul is a good ally if you’re melee. Not only sells Grognaks but meat, including squirrel.
Just started couple months ago and hardly no anything and from one video just learned so much thanks
you forgot to include sleeping buffs. I'm pretty sure Wanderer gives you more XP from sleeping but not as much as a romanced Ally.
they all are the same
Ty , I’ve found 5, just started playing a month ago. About to hit level 50, soon and still feel like I’m clueless. I was wondering if there were more Allies. Mine don’t offer me anything, maybe I need to do more of their quests.
Steven's buff is obsolete now if you have the Mothman's Sacred Tome from the last Mothman Equinox. It gives the exact same bonus.
Scarberry (mothman enjoyer) selling blood packs which is usefull if you want to complete scout badge achievement with crafting antibiotics, blood packs is not that common and pretty hard to find or buy somewhere, so he can save you tons of time acquiring them
Sofia gives you 10% experience boost. When you have loverst embrace, so I'll consider her ATR A.
Nice compilation. Thanks for breaking this down.
They should make it where we can assign them crafting duties and they craft a little ammo or chems or whatever for a period of time.
I like to have allies active for extra defense as well. Would you know what weapons each different ally has and which one is best for combat?
You forgot about Commander Daguerre's buff. If you constantly flirt her during her main questline... Later if she is in your camp, and you sleep in the bed you'll have the Lovers Embrace buff. +5%XP
it's just different name for sleep buff
@@AngryTurtle Possible. Fun fact: I never slept before! :D
Happy New Year! And thanks a lot for the so many informative videos! Best Wishes!
honestly the Buffs should stay. this way we can choose which one we want to be at the camp
Joey's buff is really good if you're a melee tank.
Imagining turtle tackling grandma before she can sit on her chair, so that he can get her buff and then switch allies 😂
You get a good .50 cal machine gun from Beckett quest as well.
Beckett and Sofia also offer lovers embrace once romanced
I always have sofia atmy camp, decked out in marine swim suit. LORD HAVE MERCY!
Thanks for your great guides @Angryturtle
no those are gold bullion only
Can you get the allies if missed them on the scoreboard, or if you’re just starting the game? (I have Beckett)
most of them is available with gold bulion
Thanks Turtle! (I’ve maxed out the Foundation, almost done with the Raiders) Great videos, as usual.
If you fully romance Sofia, she will give you a 3 hour xp buff. Seems S tier to me.
Sophia gives you the lovers embrace two hours of extra experience FYI
If you talk to Granny then store her chair (instead of scrapping it), can you then put down the next person's item or will it count as being in use?
you need to scrap
You should have included an ally's combat ability and how well they can defend your C.A.M.P.
Leo can sell u Nuka Cola recipies: girl rug, cola recipe, nuka clock, etc.
I've done Commander Daguerre's daily quests and 7 times out of 10 I end up getting a legendary weapon I once got a bloodied Alien Blaster and an vampires explosive Gatling plasma
Sam's buff changes this is one of them.
If you romance Sofia you have 3h xp buff when you sleep in your CAMP.
