Answering Sunventure Questions (If yours isn't addressed, comment it in this post): - "Is this hack ever coming back?" Unless there's some other freak occurrence, no. I got super burnt out with the hack and simply have no desire to work on it anymore. If anyone wants to pick up the torch, I can provide all of the planned and cut content from this game (I severely doubt it, but might as well cover my bases). - "No Spindash??" The spindash is actually in the game, though it goes unused. I had added it at one point in development and didn't feel like removing it. It remains disabled as a deliberate creative decision. - "Where's Future Bay?" The short of it is, I was in the process of revamping its visuals but got burnt out with the whole process. - "What's up with the Sega sound?" It's a voice line from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Heritage for the Future (from Joseph Joestar's 236 + AA super). Don't remember what it translates to. - "Will you update the OST?" Seeing as how all of the replacement tracks are just straight ports, I don't think it's needed. - "The soundtrack is different than the SHC'22 build. Why's that?" A lot of the previous music ports were rather lacking, and I wanted to change some songs to different songs. Admittedly, I would have redone all the music myself, but since I don't know how to even port music I wasn't able to. - "What's up with that one frame of Super Sonic in the ending?" Super Sonic was planned (and partially added). It would have been unlocked after getting the good ending and would have been permanent on your save until deleted.
This is and will always be one of my most favorite romhacks of all time. I really love the soundtrack you chose, it adds such a nice vibe, even to Future Bay which is still my favorite zone. Take care!
Hey Sorra, Is it very difficult to create Sonic ROM hacks? I wanted to create one but I don't know how to modify the special stages and the music in the game…
Scrap sorra i love your hack rom one of the best i played and in the future i make a hack rom inspired in your work called Sonic sunventure renovated☺️
@@Randi_MyMan Oh, the spindash is in the game.. I disabled it as a creative choice (makes the hack more unique and keeps the focus on momentum and platforming)
@@Randi_MyMan that's the problem, it's too good at regaining momentum and ruins the intended reward for good play being preservation of momentum. It'd kinda break the game as I intended it to be played.

Hey Sorra, Is it very difficult to create Sonic ROM hacks? I wanted to create one but I don't know how to modify the special stages and the music in the game…
I'd say a sizable majority of it comes from the poor documentation, but it's far from an easy process even when you have a good grasp on it.
@KidpowerGames2 I recommend watching tutorials on how to create your own romhack online, and do lots of research! Good luck!
@@scrapsorra7227 Thanks for the tip… I'll try to learn how to create Sonic hacks, I hope I can do it…

By any chance could we expect this new version to show up on the Steam Workshop page for Sega Genesis Classics?
I wasn't responsible for the hack being uploaded there. I also don't own Sonic 1 on Steam, so I'm not sure if I would be able to provide that.
Hi there did you play sonic jasper on game jolt
never heard of it
@@scrapsorra7227oh you can download it in the final demo and preview it
