Nice, I was waiting for the blue fj bull bar to fall off, it look like it was loose. Your fj came out amazing,I love the graphics. Greetings from Flatrida.
Don't make hole in your oil filter. My 2007 has a top mounted stock filter location and it drains back into the engine leaving only about a teaspoon of oil to wipe up.
I'll do it without the hole next time. I just wanted to do every possible "trick" for the demonstration. If I hadn't made a hole and oil came gushing out, somebody would have recommended punching a hole in it. 👍
@@offroadhub.official The upright oil filter position has been used for years. I had a 1990 VW Jetta that had the filter right in the top and front of the engine and it was never an issue with being full of oil when not running. The same with my 2007 FJ. Which reminds me, I need to do an oil change too!

My plan on my 4 link and 3 link lower links is once I know my build is DONE lol and nothing else suspension wise is gonna change I plan on going to the unbreakable solid aluminum lower links.. as they flex, but don't stay bend etc. I run a built v8 swapped solid axle 1 ton 92 four door Ford Explorer.
That side by side is cool and actually being used. All people do in my area do is drive way to fast on dirt roads, that a camry could take, and neighborhood streets with ridiculously loud mufflers
Is that an ARB bumper that's modified on the blue FJ? Any suggestions on getting more clearance out of my ARB bumper? Thinking about cutting the bottom a little bit
I cut 8 inches from each side, it stuck out too far and blocked tire clearance. It came with the fj and didn't like how bulky it was, beats buying a new one!
Have you found a replacement window for the right rear? You might have had a bad spotter while in Oregon. When you get back to southern Idaho, try to make it to these F-4 J-79 General Electric engines. I have not been to them. It might be a good adventure. 6:55 That front bullbar! :))
It hung on 😜
Dude those ARB bumper are huge, I modified it and made it so much smaller, apparently I need to chop more lol but that's what's she's there for!
Rubicon radness! 👍👍🍿🧈🧂😎
Good stuff Ken. I have been itching to go back out there.
Let me know when you want to head out. 👍

Thanks for watching!
Was tight as hell but she sure moved with the full weight of the fj sitting on it!
Come on people LIKE this guy, good to see other than Jeep.
Thank you, I appreciate your enthusiasm! 😉
12:40 thank you. That was hilarious
😂😂😂

@@offroadhub.official you didn’t lube the inside of the filter .
@@millionairemobydick4489 I did, but I didn't feel the need to show that.
that 6x6 is awesome I want one
She’s holding up real good. Looking forward to the Rubicon video for sure. Thanks Ken for the Sunday morning entertainment.
Thanks Dan!

@@harrywalker5836 probably going to solid 2.5" aluminum lower links. And yes, there are lava caves around here!
That area looks cool.
There are tons of interesting formations in the lava!
I think that will be my go-to 4x4 when I can't find FSJ parts. Seems to do well on 33s.
What a rig you built buddy! Very impressive! 💪🏻
Some of the noises the blue FJ made physically hurt me somehow.
These things happen! 👍
that thing would do just as well in reverse!!
I thought Jesse was going to end up on his side!! Ken, are you sure your "certified"?🤣
I really need to get my spotter certification. 😒
Lol Yeah my daughter won't be going back to Hells half acre with me again after that one.

The first time I saw it in Sand Hollow I was a little skeptical, but it does really well!
Cool area.
Interesting area, I was on google maps, hard to find an entry spot on the map, where did you enter?
I'll DM you on Facebook. Better yet come out and I'll show you! 😉

Yes that is a modified ARB bumper. I've never worked with an ARB bumper before, but if you're comfortable cutting and welding, I'd say go for it!

The blue fj cruiser lost alot of value on this trip
If I ever own an fj cruiser, which I'm sure I won't, I will be keeping it on the pavement
