I feel like adding either it'a missing arm gatling or the modeled shield missiles since it's based to the metal build Hi Nu would fix it's range dps issue. Otherwise in terms of boost speed, the new High Output Added Booster part might be able to fix the problem. Though with coming powercreep, B.B should be looking into overhauling older MS and reverting some old nerfs to make those MS have an easier time on today's battlefield. Though the new parts will be interesting to test out for sure with an updated parts guide being good to have as the jp wiki doesn't update the parts regularly.
As much as I want the arm gats too or a second melee set (like dual wield regular sabers) the problem is Hi Nu kind of tip toes on a fine line right now of balance. As it is right now its lack of ranged poke is a decent weakness to offset its other advantages. If it had stronger poke or more melee options I worry it’d become op. Don’t get me wrong I really want those arm gats especially cause they’re cool, and it does feel like hi Nu has to be held back a bit (like standard Nu really. Imagine if it had both rifle and bazooka and Narratives’ brawler melee moves to be 100% movie accurate 😂) but I kinda get why it’s the way it is in this game for balance.
The ranged dps is my biggest issue with this suit. It's so frustrating trying to finish suits off from a distance when they're trying to escape. I've never had such a hard time defeating a suit that had less than 20 percent health as I do with Hi nu.
@@Zaku_Phantom you enable or disable team health indicators with holding down L3 on the controller, not sure about mouse and keyboard but it should be in the settings
The beam rifle seems better overall. It works better in combos due to the fast swap time, has a 56% heat rate fully charged shot and it doesn't have slow projectile speed like the zook. The zook seems better if you want to beat generals with Damage Control in 1v1, since the bazooka can break through their maneuver armor if both hits connect.

@@avenger1_gbo260 this is probably more of my skill issue, but I find it easier to use zook against shields, just so I don’t have to worry about not staggering and go in For the melee, should I focus on just trying to use zook or br is better in the long term
I've got the hi-nu since the release but honestly i've never won a single game with it. I don't know if it's the sheer size since it's the biggest suit i own but i never really get much out of it because no matter where i'm positioned in the map or how many allies are together, there's always 2 or more stunlocking me for the hell of it, and it doesn't happen when i play other suits (i fare waaay better with a lv 2 zeta at 700 costs somehow) Feels like sortieing with this thing is the same as going out with a huge "shoot me" sign that seems too irresistible to enemies not to comply
It is a really big target with those funnel wings and giant booster tanks on the back. Doesn't help that it has low health and low base beam resistance. Glad the buffs addressed some of this
@@Gbo2_player easy, fix, give it back, it’s leg damage and explosive radius on its main weapon. The healing was the biggest problem of the suit. And ain’t nerf that into the ground. only has two Viable weapons in its base form it’s pretty much useless until it gets NTD and you need to take damage to even activate it let alone the damage you take while you’re in it it just falls apart too quick and it bazooka is unreliable. I don’t know why they made it a scattershot. Either give it back its blast radius and part breaking on its main weapon,. Or make it so you can activate NTD immediately upon sorting in. Easy fix, and it won’t be broken because NTD takes your HP and the heel isn’t strong enough to put you back at fullHP even if you just sat around and wait to go into awaken.
@@Gbo2_player that aside, I think Phoenix and banshee are in a good spot, especially banshee banshees NTD buffs outweigh the negative. and Phoenix has a good assortment of weapons that he can be useful without NTD as well as an asset to the team with it
I think a big problem is that they would need to buff Unicorn to be on par with Norn, just reverting the nerfs would not be enough. Like look at all the shit Norn gets; like 3 instant staggers, 3 melee, 90% HP NT-D, barely any NT-D HP drain, only takes 30 seconds to use Awaken, lifesteal in Awaken mode, no reduced damage in Awaken, counter jutte that can instantly delete a raid, ridiculous melee damage that one combos every raid, a (seemingly) 40% damage reduction buffer for the shield on top of it having 3 melee swings despite being a general. Will they really buff Unicorn to be like that? They would legit need to add LV1 Maneuver Armor to normal mode, add LV2 Emergency Evasion to normal mode, add 1000 HP, buff shotgun bazooka accumulation, buff shotgun bazooka cooldown time, decrease the HP drain in NT-D, decrease the time needed to activate awaken, decrease the damage penalty in Awaken mode, buff the melee damage and increase the amount of HP restored by using Awaken. Honestly, it might not even be as good even if it got all this. They gotta buff it ASAP. Some of these buffs could go for Phenex as well just considering that Norn will powercreep it as well.

@@Zaku_Phantom there's an option in "Options", go to "Other" and change "Ally Info Display Settings" to be as "Always show"

I've got the hi-nu since the release but honestly i've never won a single game with it.
