This is not true. I took adipex and did not gain the weight back and it’s been YEARS.

I took this medicine back in 2011. I wasn’t obese, maybe 15 pounds overweight. This medicine literally suppressed my appetite. I didn’t want to eat, didn’t have a desire to eat but I had a lot of energy to get workouts in and prep meals. It can be a good and bad. Just try to make yourself at least drink water or other healthy liquids. Do NOT take in the evening. You’ll be up all night with heart palpitations.

I’m having an issue not eating enough because I just don’t want it. After going to the gym this morning, I am frantically cleaning my house, and love how much I’m getting done, but I also know I need to eat. Trouble is I just don’t want anything.

Your advice for eating healthier and more natural and less processed doesn’t work for most budgets today, also for obese people like myself, dieting and exercising are a forgone conclusion. Our energy is rock bottom leading to depression which makes most of us look to our worst enemy, food for a bandaid. I’ve been on this for 3 months, lost 42 pounds. Went from 241 to 198. No sweating, no agitation, no high blood pressure, insomnia. I just have what feels like clean energy and I can finally control my appetite. It has helped so much, and feel like I should be allowed to take it long term.

Phentermine completely stopped my appetite. I didn't even have hunger pangs. For me it worked really well but I only took half a pill a day couldn't handle the full dose It made me shaky...

Honestly I've been on adipex for 10 years and it helps me maintain my weight. I have no side effects that everyone talks about. It really helps me not over eat and makes me feel full. I am 117 pounds and 5'2 in height. when I started I was 150 lbs and it seriously helps me maintain my weight. It's a shame doctors are afraid to prescribe this for ppl under 25 BMI because there are so many ppl all shapes and sizes that can benefit from it. I go to a weight loss clinic and that's how I get it prescribed but my pcp will not prescribe it because he says I'm not obese. It also doesnt give me energy like I have read in many comments. I quit taking both times while pregnant with no withdrawal. It sucks bc this drug is so inexpensive if u can get it prescribed otherwise your paying retail price at weight loss clinic.. they should actually do more studies on it

I have enough energy to clean my home up like never before…I also had the b12 lipotropic injection a few days before I started the phentermine. In the past if I only took phentermine, I could feel when it was kicking in, but with the injection I can’t tell…I just know that it is working and I don’t have a desire to eat ANYTHING…I don’t even think about SWEETS…throughout the day I would generally find myself stopping somewhere to get processed sugars. That addiction is brought under control.

Is a doctor required to taper a patient off this medication if prescribed, or can it just be stopped after the last pill?
