    I’ve been on and off of phentermine now since December 2020. I have lost a total of 70lbs. We do one month on and one month off. No skin issues, no weight gain at all, and it’s helped me to get in the habit of working out and eating healthily everyday.

    I honestly can report to everyone that without Phentermine all I think about is FOOD. My mind is constantly thinking about when I get to eat next and what the next yummy, delicious item is that will be participating in a Party In My Mouth. Phentermine? takes these THOUGHTS AWAY. I have no idea how this works, but you seriously stop thinking about food. You're not disgusted by the thought of food, it just is not something you think about. You start thinking about other things like paying your bills and when was the last time you did laundry and stuff like that.

      @@amybrevard3800 I haven’t drake soda in a very long time, I recommend drinking plenty of water. If you don’t like the taste of water there is sparkling water and drops to add flavor in ur water. Also, if that is too hard to do suddenly, cut back slowly or substitute soda for a healthy juice that doesn’t have a lot of sugar.

      @Heather Starker You only gain the weight back if you starve your body on it. Make sure your still eating at least 1200 cals a day and get into the habit of eating clean so you don’t crave a whole bunch of food at once. Also, drink plenty of water after you get off of it.

    Been on phentermine 7 weeks lost over 26 pounds or 12kgs.
    It works best on empty stomach. No exercise, moderate walking no weights. Do have to have good heart blood pressure as it slightly increases it. First time using it helps if your keen to change. Do 5 or 6 days good and 1 or 2 days bad eating and weight comes off. Does affect sleep, but small temporary price as only going to do 12 weeks. 3 month weight loss is harder when older over 45. Best looked in ages like close to a decade. When bigger takes a while to get to exercise stage as knee joints big issues so really great product to Kickstart to get to exercise stage.

    I’m on week 3 and the first week I freaked out because I was not hungry and I was not able to get enough calories in my body. I lost 8 pounds that first week and I was scared that my skin was going to sag and I was going to look like an old lady by losing weight so fast. The second week went better I started to feel a slight hunger which would indicate it was time to eat. However, I would eat my needed calories and I felt full and satisfied. My goal is to lose 2 pounds a week and last week I did. I want to shrink my stomach and detox from all the sugar, so when I’m off phentermine I don’t go back to my bad eating habits.

    • @ernestsantana449
      @ernestsantana449 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @TURTLEORIGINAL I'm not working out really. My job is pretty physical. I walk maybe 5+ mi. a day at work. I stretch and do push-ups, planks, and squats every morning and before bed but not to an extreme. It takes @10 minutes. I'm usually not hungry in the morning so I'll eat @3pm and I'm good for the day. Something with lots of protein. No breads or sodas. Lots of water. The good thing about the phentermine is that it makes you thirsty and food isn't really tasty. So I usually just eat because I know I need to eat something and not because I'm hungry.

My hope is that once I go off I'll be able to keep it off since I will be breaking bad habits while on the medication like snacking at night. Would love to hear from amyone who has taken phentermine and has had success keeping the weight off without having to go back on the medication. Also hope I can lower my AcC which is why I am on it. I'm starting these tomorrow 05/07/2021. My doctor prescribed them to me yesterday 05/05/21 .
    I have been trying to loose weight for 2 years. I was 145 and went up to 200 lbs (current weight). I'm considered obese at this point. And I workout every single day.
    So lets see if they work for me. I'm also going to be eating 1200 calories. No sugar, no fried food, and no bread, rice and tortillas.
    And I will also be doing my regular workouts at 7am (HIIT workouts for 1 to 2 hours a day, and I will try to walk 10,000 steps a day.)

I don't think about food anymore. It really has made it easier. I used to battle with food, and I won (hence the weight loss) and it becomes easier, but now I have to remind myself to eat. I am eating 1500 calories a day, tracking that, and workout 6x a week. 3 strength training days with high intensity cardio after, and 3 days of steady state cardio

    Big plus for your honesty. It's not such a terrible thing that a physician can prescribe another 3-month script the next day. Like you said, a thorough physician will perform some BP checks and other things in that time anyway. It's also cool that the FDA put the 3-month limit as well. It formalises the right of physicians to exercise their discretion beyond what a patient may see fit for themselves; which on many occasions can be recreational use. Between the FDA requirements, an honest patient and a physician's good judgement, a near-perfect result can be achieved which can truly make a significant impact on a person's life and genuine well-being.

The second part (week 1 to week 8) I just barely ate (from 4 meals a day and snacking to maybe 2 meals a day). My stomach would growl but no connection to the brain that I was hungry. After a while it does plateau so you can come off of it for a month or two. This is where the danger is for sweets and snacking. Then after 2 more months, I'm back on it again. I lost a total of 30 initially, gained 5 back, and anticipate losing around 18 this next 2 months. I've also cut out soft drinks and have started ordering from a meal prep service (Clean Eatz) to get healthier portioned meals. Goal is to form the habit of consistent water intake as well and then when coming off of it again in 60 days, re-introduce myself to the gym.

I didn’t feel HCG really worked for me so want to try Phentermine now that I’m older. I tried it in my younger years when I didn’t have anxiety issues so was wary of it this time around..

Got lil hungry round 9 but i go to bed at that time so it passed. I think full dose would make me too nervous. Half dose is great and lasted till 9 pm. I took it at 8 am

    I am so grateful to have found your videos. I was prescribed phentermine a couple years ago and did fantastic. I was able to drop 40 pounds in 3 months but had so much anxiety when my doctor discontinued it because no one actually taught me how to manage my weight loss while I was on it to give me confidence to maintain when I was off it. I have since gained all but 10 pounds back after 2 years and asked to go back on it. So, hopefully with all these great tips I will better prepare during the process to maintain when I'm off. By the way, that off the label suggestion to maintain would probably be a good idea for me if my doctor is willing to do it.

    Glad to find this information, as folks describe the appetite curbing, I can sure say that is spot on. First few days I felt a little off, but I have excellent support from my physician, so I knew what to expect. Also, it was really helpful to do reading on several sites, as to how people experienced this medication on an individual basis. I try to keep some humor about it and saw the post by Amanda Garcia, which made me burst out laughing as she described that feeling...like when you are going to have a nice big bowl of mashed potatoes and Turkey gravey and honestly you are just over the top with yummy tummy warm thoughts and scarf that food down, and me, heck I'd then go back for a second helping. So for someone optimally weighing 115, to have creeped up to 170, ahhhh well, I had all the accompanying problems you get, when you do not manage your weight. Anyway, 5 days, and I am amazed that I have to plan to eat, I'm not disgusted by food, I will have the customary thoughts like...ahhh when did I last eat...but then it passes and it's not even close to what I would call a craving. For me, under my physician's care, it's the first real option that I feel will work. But I'm not fooling myself, got to eat right, continue to exercise and honestly I'm hoping for the best. What I knew had to happen, was cut the darn cravings...but if anyone else out there is older and has another issue like having to take ADHD medication Ritalen, you must be very careful and tweak what you take. I have eliminated the Ritalen for awhile, as I do not want an escalation in Blood pressure readings. I know, wayyyyyyyyyyy to much information, but for me, I just want to thank people who do share what their weight loss journey is like. We are all in this together, and we can get back to healthy weight and keep it off the rest of our life. God Bless us all...

I do exercise 3 times a week at Planet Fitness for about an hour. So this pill in conjunction with exercise should definitely get me to my weight loss goal. At this point, I have not lost any weight... but its early days and know with more balance to my diet, I will get there.

    Ok update on my journey. This video is almost 4 years old and it helped me alot so follow her advise and you will be good. I have been taking it for 2 months now, about to request my third batch this month. I started at 185 and now i am down to 165. Not the greatest success as I have heard alot of people loose way more but I am still happy with my progress. The first month didnt do much for me because of covid, job loss and having to move. However, like everyone else, reality sunk in and i made the best of the situation and found a new routine. After i moved and had less things to stress over, i started walking everyday. That was a mistake because i got the worst blisters. I bought new shoes and it was still the same. So thats advice number 1, Dont over do it. Now i walk 5 days a week, about 8 miles per day and i look forward to it. Starting today, i signed up for an online zoom workout class with a trainer so i am excited for that. I plan to do my regular walks and 3 days of zoom exercises. I start by taking the pill in the morning around 8:30am with water. Any later, i have issues sleeping. Try not to take it too early either, i feel it doesnt work if you do. The pill works for me by keeping me fuller longer. Think of it like any other pill, it wears off just the same. So as she says, you can break it in half and take half now and half later. The pill allows me to not over eat or snack during the day. When i do eat, i try to make better food choices. I will also be jumping back on my calorie counting this month and introduce juicing into my diet. I am going to juice as i dont want to miss out on key nutrients. Jucing allows me to eat my veggies and take my liquid vitamins all in an 8 ounce cup. I can also mask the taste of the ones i dont like but need by using tons of ginger in the juice. Even if it goes over my calorie count. I am fine with that as it is good calories. As for side effects, when i just started taking it, it would make my heart race, make me super thirsty and sometimes make me feel nauseous. I combat that by drinking lots of water, which we need anyways and walking to get some of the energy out. Overall, my aim is to correct my eating habits and to form new work out habits that i can sustain. I am thankful for this pill.

      Hi Sasha, please dont be so harsh on yourself. Your comment has inspired me. : ) I am currently at 190 and my goal is 165 and reading your comment and time frame of only 2 months excites me! Congrats on your progress!

    • @Sasha-qv6jq
      @Sasha-qv6jq 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jasminespears2903 thank you. I totally forgot about this! Well 2 years later and I am tethering between 168 and 170. Kept 15lbs off but I am back on the weight loss journey. This time I am trying to get to 145/150.
      Things i have learned since then... motivation will not stick so having a plan and being consistent helps. I like to do monthly challenges and start over every month. Too long of a plan discourages me. I have a planner that i create a little daily to do list for myself. I include things like face rountine (i use to go to bed with make up on), body rountine( gotta moisturize), carlorie deficit and exercise. Then i use little symbols to show which ones i completed for that day and put a sticker beside it if I did. Its good to look back on for progress and the little girl inside me still likes stickers lol.
      I also learned that Special gyms or diets don't work. Find an exercise that you like to do and do that. Or sprinkle something you like to do inbetween the exercises. For me, that is swimming on the days I am not at the gym.
      Also, Get a calorie deficit and try to eat better but dont do extreme exclusions. It isnt sustainable. 1 day you are going to be sad or the hormones will kick in and you are going to want something sweet. Its ok. Just count it in your calorie intake for the day. I use my fitness pal to help with food measurements.
      My current rountine is 3 day in the gym and swim in between those days. I end up doing some sort of movement for 5 days out the week. Planet fitness is cheap and gives you a free *personal trainer* so I signed up and got a 3 day work out plan. Swimming is more fun than exercise for me but its good cardio to do in the summer as it's hotter than the devils butthole right now. On evening where I don't feel like I did much, I take a walk in the evening after dinner. It clears my mind and I sleep better.
      You got this! Good luck on your journey

    My doctor just prescribed me phentermine today. He has worked with me over the last 7 years since my daughter was born to lose the weight i gained during that pregnancy. 175-245. Over thise years I made lifestyle changes including cutting out soda, swapping sugar for alulose in anything I make myself, swapping all purpose flour for buckwheat flour, drinking a gallon of water a day (on topomax for chronic migrain3 so this is more to avoid kidney stones but it helps with the weight too) stopped eating root vegetables and swapped potatoes and rice out for riced cauliflower, gave up beef and instead if we eat red meat at all it is game meat (venison or bison) or we eat chicken or turkey. Beans, green leaf lettuce instead of iceberg. Had another baby in those 7 years and managed to lose the few pounds I gained during that pregnancy immediately after son was born so literally all weight I gained was him and his twin I lost in utero + placenta and amniotic fluid putting me still firmly at 245. And the changes have worked because deapite not doing anything other than changing our eating habits my husband has lost 20lbs over those 7 years while I have stayed at 245. My doctor says that in and of itself is impressive because I also became disabled in those 7 years so any high impact workouts are off the table. Just my physical therapy is exhausting and yet I've still managed to stay 245 instead of gaining any more weight. He also said my changes are probably why I'm not diabetic despite family history. He's hoping the phentermine will help me lose enough to lessen the strain on my joints to ease some of the discomfort from my disability, that it will get my BP back to a normal range (it became hypertensive during pregnancy and never returned to normal) and that the changes i made will be enough to maintain the weight loss and the energy boost will help me be able to do a little more so I do t feel so exhausted co stantly, though he admits its all up in the air since my fatigue is tied to my autoimmune diseases (RA and PsA) and not directly to my weight itself. Here's hoping. I want to feel better for my two young children. In their short lives they've never seen me without my SD, cane or rollator. I'd love to retire the cane and walker until my SD is old and gray

Slept great every night and could get up with a skip in my step at 5 in the morning! Didn’t think of food because I felt full. I’ve been off for about 3 weeks now. I’m tired, less energy, eating is the same, but the constant full feeling is gone. I’ve not been sleeping as well, been having some nightmares. All my vitals were always good. Went from 206 to 186. My ideal weight is about 150. I am 55. I miss taking this pill because it really worked for me!

      Yeah, it's going to take some time for your brain to readjust, because it's used to having all this extra norepinephrine, but you wouldn't want to keep taking phentermine after reaching your goal weight, even if your doctor was okay with it, you'd grow more dependent over time until it finally stops working altogether, making it much harder to stop. The idea is to help you with your will power and once you have the results you want, you'll get your appetite back, but hopefully you won't regain the weight because you're so happy with your new figure. That's the traditional thinking, anyway. Most people do tend to at least regain some of their weight, if not all of it, unfortunately.

    I will say that I definitely noticed a difference when I took my phentermine pill with / without food. If I took it without food, I was level-minded throughout the day and not obsessing over food. Taking my phentermine with food however, I definitely continue to feel hungry throughout the day. The only problem I have with phentermine is if I don’t take it extremely early in the day, I will stay up all night. I had to stop taking it for a few days to get my sleep schedule readjusted.

      I was thinking the same thing. I had to stop taking it during exams because my memory was slacking off because of lack of sleep. I was sleeping 8hrs a night, but not getting any deep sleep. Ill check with/without food like you said.

    I started Phentermine and metformin together yesterday I have pcos so it’s very difficult for me to loose weight but very fast to gain it and all I think about is food. This medication has completely eliminated my hunger and craving . Even tho I have to eat with my metformin that’s the only meal
    I have and the rest of the day is water. I do feel very jittery and dry mouth but in two days I’ve lost 2 1-2 lbs so I’m super excited to continue
