Hi1 good job, I 've been taking it since July ,when I was in the hospital for intense leg wound pain, due to venous insufficiency I can't take NSAIDs due to a medication interaction. Tramadol worked for the pain, and for about 5 hrs. Id didn't cause any ill-effects,like make mentally out of it. I was taking 2x a day, now at home once. I also take OTC Tylenol 2-3 x daily for pain. My pain has greatly diminished and I am grateful for receiving the assistance. I saw my Dr. last wk. And she wants me to consider stopping it, so I think I am able.

I had TKR 11 Weeks ago. I was taking 3 a day in the beginning, then one for PT after the first 2 weeks. Then I am aware you can get addicted, but sometimes the pain is still where tylenol and ibprofin do not touch it. I try to get by with a half one a day, especially when the pain is bad. I want to quit, so now I am taking a half one every other day worried about withdrawals. Is this the best way to wean off or is there another way? Thanks in the event you see my comment

He's not saying mucinex does not work, hes saying mucinex works because of the active ingredient guaifenesin that comes from a native american traditional medicine, from tree sap, and that mucinex is moslty adding other medicines like tylenol, benadryl etc, and to save money you can just try the active ingredient itself from a generic brand, that will have the same effect for less of a price, and not be mixed with other medicines you may not want to take. ( yes run-on scentence... sue me)

Started taking tramadol in October of 2007 for severe nerve pain which led to a back surgery that went well. I do have some leftover nerve damage. In the years since 2007 I have three times thought I would stop the tramadol and the nerve damage is severe so I must continue taking it to function properly. In all these years I have had no negative side effects of tramadol no constipation no nausea nothing. Even though I would like to stop taking any pills at all I prefer to be able to work and live like a normal person basically pain-free. If I didn't take the tramadol I couldn't go to work each day. I really am just thankful that the pills are small. I am prescribed three a day at 50 mg. The dosage has not changed in all these years.

This doctor is young. I have been on Tramadol for decades due to chronic pain from an old injury. I am suicidal and nonfunctional without it. It is in fact a weak opioid. For chronic pain sufferers short term use is not an option. Depriving pain sufferers their medications for pain can lead to suicides.

I just found this. But then I’ve only been on Tramadol for coming up on a year. So my doctors had figured out that I have stenosis from top to bottom and that my spinal cord is being squeezed very hard. They wanted me to take 2 -50mg three times daily. I felt that was too much, so I took 2-3 daily. Finally, my wife challenged me to take the amount they suggested, understanding that I was concerned about addiction. Well, I have and let me say it makes a world of difference. I also have learned that typically when a patient hurts, they believe that their doctor has a magic wand, or an injection that will make them ok! I’ve always told my doctors to “help me cope.” Thank you for the video

Doctor thank you for everything you made it extremely enjoyable to listen to I will say my experience is mostly with animals as far as seeing it there was a vet who told me that the cat was very sick right before I took him in I gave him a whole bottle of the CBD for pets and when it was made specifically for pets and the great thing is he said when I when I went because I left him run an errand and came back and he said he's one sick cat and almost implied he had to put to sleep well because of the CBD oil he actually ended up pulling through and he said according to his blood work he should have been dead that's how bad and bad shape he was from the serious infection he had I just want to share that and I've had good experiences with it myself and I just think your presentation was fantastic

Cancer-Causing Benzene Is Used to Make Store-Brand Cold Relief Medicine Generic versions of Mucinex sold at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart and other US retailers are made with the chemical. While most shoppers trust that store-brand medicines are just as safe and effective as brand-name ones, that’s not always true. Photographer: Joe Raedle/Getty Images While it may seem like the only difference between extended-release Mucinex and its generic store-brand counterpart is the price tag, the latter potentially exposes users to a deadly cancer-causing chemical. Millions of Americans who buy the store-brand option at various major US chains are unknowingly choosing a drug that risks containing a potent carcinogen called benzene, according to a Bloomberg analysis of government data. Benzene can cause blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma.
