RS6 oil pump can be refurbished now with all the one way valves replaced and all gaskets as well. Only if there is too much wear on the metal parts will there be a need for another pump. I'd be tempted to find an engineer to refurbish the current oil pump, obviously this needs the engine out which means you might as well refurbish it, even better, upgrade the internals and get some bigger turbos and straight pipe it
Always enjoy your videos dean and looks good with the camera ma, now you can purely focus on builds and not worry about the camera too much.. about the jig try contacting D from Salvage Nation maybe he might help

Who's doing the engine on TVR? I'd recommend Dom at TVR Power or Jason at St8six. Both are brilliant, and build engines for tvr race cars too 👍. For the GTR, have you spoke to Dave at gtr heritage centre? Based near Sunderland.
At your level in the TH-cam game I really think it’s time for you to get a bigger unit, this may allow you to have a frame machine/jig in time. This would also allow space for your projects and parts. In any case go with the gut instinct and if you have to cut your losses then do that. Chris Slix has had cars on a jig maybe he has a contact.

Time to get your own jig, you can get outdoor ones if no space and ones that double as lift. Get rid of all them cars and invest the money back into new ones 1/2 at a time. RS6 you can have pump rebuilt and I think a few people have spares too be worth a post on socials. Then raffle it off it’ll be worth a lot of money in the future even with 200k.
Have you spoken to Rick at REPERFORMANCE and see if he can help with the oil pump situation as I'm sure he will or have the contacts and point you in the correct direction as be a shame to see it not back on the road.
Be worth trying Kent’s of spalding they have some really good jig guys there’s
Excellent urine control on the mechatronics unit 👍
Format is much better with the camera man .. great content and delivery 👍👍… Bin the RS6 and concentrate on the other great projects you have 👍
Southways Automotive in Fareham is a good TVR expert if you need anything else doing👍
Control units in Devon can rebuild the mechatronic’s for the TT gearbox, they are great guys
Sent the res6 to copart, film it selling, cut ur loses, move on to better things 💪
Talk to the guys over at vag technic, they just rebuilt a v10 on TH-cam . Super smart lads
So glad the tvr is up and running bud, looking forward to updates
I'd be tempted to find an engineer to refurbish the current oil pump, obviously this needs the engine out which means you might as well refurbish it, even better, upgrade the internals and get some bigger turbos and straight pipe it
I thought you could get rebuild kits for the RS6 oil pump. If so rebuild it or get it rebuilt. Then rebuild the engine with more power 😎
Always enjoy your videos dean and looks good with the camera ma, now you can purely focus on builds and not worry about the camera too much.. about the jig try contacting D from Salvage Nation maybe he might help
The Audi TT that was won but now sitting waiting and you said you may sell. Would it not work to put it up for another competition and just say no cash alternative.
Liked the new format with camera man 👍
RS6 remove the Oil Pump and get it reconditioned. Would make good content aswell 👍
For the GTR, perhaps collaborate with Salvage Rebuilds UK? Rob & Chris have a shiny new jig 🙂
Like the new look. Thought for a while you only had one arm…
Would love to see the TVR renovated, proper hotrod
Hello from Ireland again, Dean. Jesus the very first time i saw you, was when you were working on the TVR. I had totally forgotten how far you got with it lol. Nice Machine Dean. Lol you crazy fecker bro. You bought a donor Audi to fix the other one. Legend Dean, God £4k for an oil pump. Try and find a Crashed one first, Dean. Thats the Lambo your bidding on, you nutter, lol. Nice Transporter, its like brand new now. Wicked Scrambler track, you get much better, the more you go around the track and those jumps, lol. Nice one 👍👌👏👏👏🇮🇪
Bloody hell your tall!! Was thinking Yorkshire car resto or ask Mat Armstrong what bodyshop he uses for jig work. Great video with your own cameraman!
Dean, give Tavarish a call about the RS6. He loves a massive challenge and the mileage is nothing for the States!! Doing great work fella. Good luck. You deserve it.
That's a great idea, be good to see tavarish on this channel
@@bigmatt2896sure
@@bigmatt2896 Yep get Tavarish involved and you should get a lot of new subscribers too - do it mate
You can’t export an RS6 to the states!
@@Craig-c5e matt Armstrong did
Ref the RS6, have you spoken to Ricky at REPerformance yet? It appears that seal replacement in the oil pump may be an alternative to pump or whole engine replacement.
Get the Salvage Rebuilds lads involved for the jig work Dean.
They have their own jig in their workshop.
They said no to him 🙄”too busy”
TVR brought me here. Can’t wait to see more. RS6 are too cool. Replacement engine
Go banger racing in the RS6 give it a smashing send off.
Get your own jig, you’ll use it enough, you can also rent it out if they’re that hard to come by around your way.
Good idea, but I doubt he's got the space for one.
Correct, need to upgrade the workshop
@@bluehippy you can get outdoor jigs.
@@SavingSalvageI think the jig that salvage rebuilds bought doubles as a lift as well, it may not be cheap, but maybe you could get sponsored? They did a video of them buying it…
Who's doing the engine on TVR? I'd recommend Dom at TVR Power or Jason at St8six. Both are brilliant, and build engines for tvr race cars too 👍.
For the GTR, have you spoke to Dave at gtr heritage centre? Based near Sunderland.
At your level in the TH-cam game I really think it’s time for you to get a bigger unit, this may allow you to have a frame machine/jig in time. This would also allow space for your projects and parts. In any case go with the gut instinct and if you have to cut your losses then do that. Chris Slix has had cars on a jig maybe he has a contact.
What's the part number for the pump? Have you checked etka for superseeded part numbers? Maybe those will be available?
Audi v10 rs6 motor on a well known auction platform misfiring due to inlet failure but stil ran only had bent valves on 2 cylinders at £1995 or offers
I’d try repairing that and offer a grand ..if it don’t repair pul the pump and put in your engine so 2 options 👍
Is this eBay? Cant see it
I second the suggested collaboration with salvage rebuilds and the GTR, that would make some cool content, they’re probably too busy but I reckon that would draw in a lot of viewers
I did ask them and they said they were too busy with their own stuff
@@SavingSalvage How odd. As it happens, much as I like them, I'm not sure how much chemistry there would be if you were to work together.
Rob does NOT like being told he's wrong 😢@@mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm420
New engine! Question is the pump in the R8 or Lamborghini v10 the same ? Could it work also .... ?
