Is your place close to any beaches or dining areas? That'd be cool to live near such places as they are just a walking distance. That's also cool you got a little pineapple garden going as well! Thanks! The new place is a bit further away from the beach, about 20-30 minutes driving, depending on traffic, but I don't mind, it's nicer to be away from the touristic hub! There are a couple of restaurants, such as Koky's, which serves some awesome bbq pork! I love my little pineapple garden! Keep em coming, they are WAY better than store-bought! 🫣 recently we ended up buying a shower head that connects to those cables by the shower, and now we have warm water, which is awesome for the 3am wake up times to go to Luis's hospital appointments haha 👩🎨 I think once I get my website going, I might actually start selling prints of my best photos! Just you wait 🤭 🏡 You know, I never even considered it when I was filming this, that yes, the washer is outside haha! For me it's normal now - Many apartments have a washing space that is outside, or as a small space extended from the house (cuarto de pilas), because it can be easier to drain the water out, and according to Luis, "they are too noisy to be inside", for me, it makes less of a trip to hang the clothes, haha, but the downside is that the sun does damage the plastic parts...
Great video, love the positivity. i've been to Costa Rica prob about 4 times and love it. Always stayed at a Hotel but planned to move there someday. This video has been very helpful for me.

Hi!! I found this apartment after months of searching on Facebook, if you look up the town you want to live in, and type "alquiler" with the town name, different options should pop up, and FB groups you can join where people post their rentals!
Most (typical) homes do not have hot water, but most people buy electric water heaters that you attach to the shower! This is Puntarenas. In San Jose you might just freeze to death if you don't have hot water! This is mainly because the water is sourced from rivers and mountains, so the water temperature is based off the location, unless there is a tank on the property!

I'm not picky I would like to get a place to come down there and stay a month or 2 for around 301 or cheaper I am not picking out of I got a bed to sleep in and maybe a microwave to heat stuff in and have a toilet
Sounds fairly simple, you should check out the marketplace on Facebook for "apartamentos" in the area you would like to be in! You might find something there!!
