    Cassabanana fruit and yeah a guy ate one on a TH-cam video short with 4 different tropical fruit tastes. I’m going to be the first to make real authentic watermelon syrup and honeydew along with cantaloupe and any other melon. I already make raw fruit jams and syrups with raw enzymes in them. Being kept a trade secret.!!

    Yes that is cool you do have a zapote they call them sapote but z & s sound is similar. Yeah I love those red sapote and you have to let them soften to where you push the fruit in 1/2 “ in. The texture of the red sapote I’ve eaten was of sweet potato and pumpkin.

  • @robrich8294
    @robrich8294 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Wow the skin on that sapote is way different than Florida and other countries looks like a coconut brown skinned fruit but nice dark orange and pumpkin texture with sweet potato. Oh yeah you said zapote so maybe it is a different variety and I can buy frozen red fleshed red sapote taste so good.

  • @robrich8294
    @robrich8294 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Yeah that yellow mangostan looks dark orange like a Haitian mango.

  • @robrich8294
    @robrich8294 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I wonder if that mango pumpkin orange flavored fruit is like a Mamey or red sapote fruit? I can make any fruit syrup without adding sugar or honey to it. Also jams & soft jelly fruit leathers weigh like 12 pounds a gallon. It’s authentic 100% syrup , jam , soft jelly fruit leathers. Make home ice cream mixing raw organic cow milk with ripe red sapote fruit. I use like 55% -60% blended fruit and mix raw organic cow cream and raw organic cow milk in there. Blend it altogether and freeze it. Tastes insane. But it will freeze solid like a rock in like two days so I always scoop some out to thaw out first. The mixture of raw milk , raw cream, red sapote is the best ever!!

    I cannot imagine taking cold shower, even on a hot day!. This video is for the young people living here. For people who are in the retirement age and need somewhat comfortable style of living, I would say you need $2000 a month, assuming you own the house. My husband and I, we own the house. We are permanent residents, living in CR for 7 years. If you are temporary or permanent resident you HAVE to pay for Caja every month. Caja alone cost us $160 a month. We spend around $1200 a month for grocery and home goods. That includes fuel and occasional restaurants, bear, wine and rum from time to time. It does not include monthly bills, Caja, cell phone plan, electricity, water, internet, that sum up to about $400. We don't have AC, pool, or dishwasher, we have gas stove and gas dryer. I cook and prepare meals at home. I bake bread, we have 12 chickens for eggs. We don't buy meat in supermarkets. I buy chickens from our local friend, who raises them totally organic. I pay $12 for a 2kg chicken. It is much more than in the supermarket, but the difference is huge when it comes to taste and quality. The same with pork or beef, we buy it from the small, private butcher shop in Coronado. I don't buy any imported goods, just local. We both are over 60, pretty healthy, we basically don't use medical assistance, don't use any medications. On top of this $1200 a month are the yearly expenses like cars registrations, property tax, etc. Even if you don't spend $2000 a month, you have to take into account possible emergency situations, like car repairs for example, or health emergency.

    I did not enjoy Santa Theresa. The main road in town is terrible, super busy , noisy and dusty. The beach restaurants and bars were nice as the sound of the waves blocked traffic noise. Not a great place to swim even if you are a great swimmer. Definitely for surfing only. Personally I liked the smaller towns of Montezuma , Dominical, Samara much better.

    Go slow through water that crosses the road during rain storms. What you don’t see it the giant pothole that is going to pop your tire. You can learn to spot the difference in the ripple on the water surface. But i promise you only learn it the hard way. Also when you pick up your rental car. Make sure all the parts to the jack are in the vehicle before you leave. It’s part of the hustle. They will send someone to you to help you for $70 plus trip fee. All because you literally can’t do it yourself due to a lack of tools. Every vehicle we rented was missing at minimum one part of the process. At gas’s stations make sure they zero out both the liters and the price. Twice we noticed the attendant zeroed out only the fee. And left the previous liters on the machine. When they started pumping the price jumped from 0 to 24000 in the first10th of a second once they activated the pump. We got to a point where we filmed the process every time.

    We are going to Montezuma in January for 3 nights so this was helpful! Spent a couple of nights in Santa Teresa last January. Didn't care for it. Dusty, and crowded. The best beach in that area (in my opinion) was playa Hermosa but its a bumpt ride into it from the endnof the dusty road in Santa Teresa.

      Hi! It’s really not so bad if you live in an area with bus services or is more walking friendly. Towns like Uvita, Dominical, Jaco, Quepos, Tamarindo, Santa Teresa are all pretty walking friendly, some are great for bikes. Buses are pretty common allover, though service is slow, and in San Jose I would be intimidated to get on a bus because it just seems very confusing. But most “well populated” areas have a bus line or two, even though having a car makes life A LOT easier and more enjoyable here.
