Ed Gumnick of the Clutter Fairy Houston says we overestimate what we can do in the short term (a day or a weekend) and underestimate what we can accomplish in the long term (10 or 15 minutes a day)
Very true and I guess the danger is we won't bother at all. I guess it's about setting realistic expectations and acknowledging this is an ongoing thing ☺️
Thank you! I'm going to say that lighting definitely helps, so I don't think it looks as good in real life as it does on camera! Saying that, I do use spf on my face each day regardless of the weather and also retinol at night. The retinol has helped clear my skin and even out the tone ☺️
I am a bit like you in that I have fear of missing out. Over the years I have learnt something better is always out there …. Now it mostly happens at garden centres or second hand shops… lol so I’m extra careful going into those. That book is amazing! I first borrowed it from the library and wanted to read it again only to learn I would have a 3 week wait ( popular book) when I told my niece she surprised me with my own copy. I’m currently reading for the third time. 💕🇨🇦
I agree, it's an amazing book! Also, it's great that you know your triggers tend to be garden centres and second-hand shops. I think half the battle is knowing our triggers ☺
If you want some quick 60-second habits to declutter your home, watch this video th-cam.com/video/nkrZSromEq0/w-d-xo.html
I only carry cash. I really don't want to part with it. It's a very limited resource!
I love decluttering , have not regretted any items I have gotten rid of 👍🏼
That's really positive ☺️

Your "embargo" on shower gel matches mine when it comes to sewing fabric!😂
🤣
I don't understand shower gel - bar soap works just fine, no plastic. But I do sympathize about yardage.
