My performance service light came on and went and bought the ccv filter. The dealership wanted 900.00 for that and to install it. I watched your video, and I am doing it myself tomorrow. Thank you

What’re your thoughts on the CCV breather kits? Doesn’t seem smart to have oil vapors flowing into the turbo, intercooler, throttle valve and sensor so plugging the vapor line on turbo intake and removing ccv filter element under the valve cover and only having the small filter at the top.

Hello, I have a 2014 ram 6.7 Laramie. Have you encountered the dash/cluster flickering? My dash/cluster is identical to this one I am deleted if that makes a difference. I read somewhere to check fuse box as they can pop out....holy crap they were all just barely in there!

How often does it need change ? I just changed mine in October last year ? I have a 2016 ram 3500 with 67760 miles I had about 56k miles last year when I did it ? I do tow a lot everyday I have a grading business so always towing 15k lbs if that matters I always maintain with factory or Napa filters and synthetic oils and change my own. Fuel filters often ?

I did exactly that. Still had the Perform Service light on after resetting with the brake and throttle. Now it seems the Perform Service light doesn't come on anymore. But, ii still have the Contact Dealer warning coming on, is that Contact Dealer warning something different? How do i get that to not come on anymore? I'll know for sure if the Perform Service light is off after i take it for a ride in a while.
PLEASE HELP WITH THAT CONTACT DEALER WARNING.

I recently purchased a 16’ Ram Laramie 6.7 with 81k. That hat Perform Service come up a few months back when I would mash the accelerator.
I left it alone and my wife and I ended up hooking up the toy hauler and taking a 1,500 mile round trip.
Now the Perform Service doesn’t come up at all.
You ever heard of these filters clearing themselves out? Especially given that in all likelihood the CCV filter had been serviced at the 67.5k interval?

I know this is a year after but was that a dorman replacement? I did get the dorman replacement and the larger connector on the bottom of the filter had a cone shaped what looked like a plug in it while it didn’t pry out it didn’t seem to have breather holes in it like the old fleet guard did
