I love Cambodia the cultures , their histories , the landscapes , the people ! Will be back for an earlier retirement . Thank you for sharing your amazing trip of Cambodia ! Bless load!
The temple architecture of Angkor Wat is really amazing and very mysterious! Those stairs look very steep, and there are no handrails. You must have a strong heart to climb up! Although you spent a lot of money, it’s worth it when you capture the sunrise! Those paintings are so beautiful, even the woven tube of the packaging is beautiful! This kind of content is great and meaningful. Please don’t be discouraged and just keep shooting what you want to shoot! You are my favorite TH-camr. Thank you so much for always making high quality videos. You did a super great job! I'm sorry that I haven't been able to watch your videos in time recently, but I have trid my best to write comments on each of your videos! 👍😍🤞
I went to Angkor Wat with my family last July it was so fun.The side of it was impressive. I think you missed the Eco Chamber. I think $37 dollars entrance fee was not too bad. Good video love from California
Can I give you some advice. I've lost count how many people have said to me about a dream destination must go & see but they never too. Always put off until it becomes too late. So just do it I'm doing it in 5 days time, living the dream not dreaming it anymore
I live -in PP Cambodia presently, and I have been in Siem Reap once since I got here 9 - months ago. At that time, I did not have the opportunity to - go - to Angkor Wat, but this July - I will.
I think what the tuk tuk mean is 15$ for 1 day? But because he is not good at speaking English, so everything got confuse. I think u can spend around 15 to 20$ for tuktuk driver per day and u can go any temple. The driver will wait u outside of the temple and u can pay him when u arrived back to hotel
Cambodia khmer ancient temples are truly splendidly and wondrously human creations heavenly on earth for God to protect humanity here as beautifully as heavenly.....many more Cambodia khmer ancient temples in Thailand or Siam Laos Vietnam too where Cambodia khmer empire were there back then all the way to Burma border what is now Mymnama
The ticket you bought is good for the day, so you need a tuk tuk or taxi to take you to the many temples in that area. (Multiday tix also available so you don’t get "templed out"!)
Normally, you paid TukTuk between $15 and $20 depending on the packet you selected. I believed your first TukTuk might waiting for you where he dropped you off.
Going on tours first and then turning the camera back on while walking through the place and giving us a summary of what you learned would be much better
Actually you should have spend 20$ for the whole day from your hotel to ticket point and tour of small circle. From what I understand you and the first tuk tuk guy have a misunderstanding. Maybe cus of language barrier. And for 15$ tuk tuk for the small circle it is a reasonable price even us Cambodian spend the same. And yes we have so many beautiful temples around you cannot just walk from one to another. Many people get confused that the ticket 37$ is expensive but actually it’s not only for Angkor wat but the whole complex of Angkor. Anyway, enjoy ur video hope you have a great time !
Sad to see the first tuk tuk guy ripped you off. I live in Siem Reap and had you got an honest driver to pick you up from your hotel, take you for a full day tour of the temples before returning you to your hotel it would have only cost $15.00.
Did you know that Angkor Wat had been upgraded to the 8th Wonder of the world, about eight months ago. The body of water you saw there is the moat surrounding Angkor Wat. Just for you: Angkor Wat: The Ancient Chronicles of Cambodia's Stone Giant | Full Doc. th-cam.com/video/2UPuVft7swY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-3zh5ekJKYjlZRzG
I'm confused why you left it so late to buy your ticket I mean on the day your going there when so many people are going there early. I'm going there in a weeks time but will be arranging to buy my ticket the day before so this way I can go straight there & be sure I'm there long before sunrise. I think I'm going to need a long day here. Im like you i dont need a tour guide for this as there will be time constraints & thats of no benefit to me to be rushed. The Angkor wat museum would explain everything you need to know. Great video thx.
You been in Lao just want to tell you that Lao is used to be Cambodia and Thailand also thousands ago it call the Khmer empire including Vietnam also but anyway best wishes to you thanks 🙏
Oh no ,u miss the smile stone face of bayon. It is on the top level. U need to read history before you visit. It is distinctive difference from one temple to another.
The tuk tuk driver maybe said for a whole day for 15$ but he is not good at english and making confuse and when you give him money and let him away make tuk tuk driver speechless and confuse. But anyway he got his money😂
Angkor Wat is a temple that represents their political leaning, which is pro-monarchy on Earth, which uses science, mathematics and philosophy to represent as well as find the uniquest-born human on Earth born and fit to be king. To simplify it to a specific religion such as Hinduism or Buddhism is like trying to box the kingdom of Egypt as a Kemetic religion. Both the pyramids of Egypt and Cambodia represent pro-monarchy on earth philosophy. It’s really that simple. Even the 8-armed statue inside Angkor wat is named “Ta Reich” meaning grandfather King implying the idea of the very first sovereign human king on earth just like Osiris .
Ok, kids, you can get away from being totally ripped of in some countries. But this is not the way to go anywere. Do some research the day before. This guy could have paid for pick up at his hotel, an english speaking guide, and water. Probably less than he paid for the tuk tuk. In most parts of the world, you're just asking for trouble. In this case he's walking around not knowing what he's looking at.
Damn bro u got ripped off man 20 bucks for those arts is way too expensive any local would never buy it. And the 15 bucks for tuktuk is also way too expensive and this is coming from a Khmer person, hate to see tourists get ripped off👍
Labeling Cambodia’s Angkor Wat temple as either Hindu or Buddhist defeats the main message the temple is trying to relay when constructing such a philosophical feat. Angkor Wat which can be deciphered as meaning the “Uniquest Wood” in reference to a Tree like in the garden of Eden, Bodhi Tree, or Christmas Tree represents the ancient Khmers’ political leaning which is pro-monarchy on Earth. To label as well as argue whether or not it is or it was Hindu or Buddhist is as ridiculous as labeling the Egyptian pyramids as Kemetic religion, when clearly both pyramids of Egypt and Cambodia represents their political agenda and stance, which aforementioned is monarchist. Even the 8-armed Spider-man-like statue in Angkor Wat in which the Khmers call “Ta Reich” meaning Grandfather King is an implication to their notion of the existence as well as coming into existence of the very first sovereign human God-King on Earth-like Osiris, Narmer, Mena, Endymion in Ancient Egyptian and Greek mythologies-who is an immortal human through birth. To say the temple is dedicated to Vishnu is not entirely wrong for Vishnu does represent the Sun God like Apollo, and like Apollo who takes on the infamous human incarnation known as Narcissus, so too does Vishnu who is known to take on many human forms (avatar) through live birth-one of them being the renowned Buddha-to install back monarchy on Earth every time the world regresses back to superstitious tribal animist pagan democracy and mentality.

Angkor Wat Archeological Park is truly amazing. But there is no way you can see very much in just one day. You need at least three days. One day…Angkor Wat itself, and Bayon Temple. But you will need a few days for a good tour of much more. Angkor Wat is really just a very very small part of it all. The best known part for sure. But it is just a fraction of all there is to see. One day pass, $37. Three day pass, $62. (Choose any three days over a ten day period ). Seven day pass, $72. (Choose any seven days over a one month period.) $37 seems excessive, considering that $37 can buy you two hotel nights and dinner.
Amazing! I remember when first when there. I got goosebumps by imagining how they were built.
Thank you for taking us through this place! It is absolutely beautiful!
I was here 10 years ago today - love to see how it's evolved (but also stayed the same in many ways). Greetings from Panama CIty!
So happy you purchased the artist’s drawings - there are a few I would have purchased as well 🙏🏻
Me too. When I go to Cambodia top of my list to buy is artwork as you know it's authentic & tells a story more than anything else one would buy
23:00 I like these videos. It's a nice tour of the site without having obnoxious royalty free music and unnecessary drone shots.
lol that music 🙉
Stunning architecture and the sounds of the birds made it so atmospheric. Can't wait to see it for myself!
Angkor Wat is a dream destination for me. Thanks for the awesome video. Stay safe.

Why ?
Sadly, communism has kept Cambodia in the stone age. They are about 90 years behind Japa, Taiwan, and S. Korea.
This is a Hindu temple, not a Buddhist temple
