    For anyone on the fence about getting a custom E-tune definitely go with Alan. He turned my Focus ST and did an amazing job. The car delivers power so much smoother than the OTS tunes I was running prior. I have more confidence in the reliability of the tune and the car is a blast to drive.

    Another great video. This puts what we discussed on the phone the other day into a much better perspective. Can't wait for all my parts to show up so we can start tuning! If you guys ever have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to Alan and the team. He sat on the phone with me for about an hour going over the parts for my car and suggestions he felt were better then what I was going to get. The sales team is awesome too! Isaac spent a good amount of time with me as well getting all my parts put together and ordered up!

    • @TMTMS3

      I can't revise another tuners tune. They are locked and not accessible to anybody but the person who created it. Even if I could, I'd prefer to start with my own rather than somebody else's. So you'd just need to purchase a full tune.

    So let's say I get an e-tune when I am FBO Stage 3 (focus ST)... If I decide to go big turbo later on, would that require buying another $350 full e-tune, or would that count as a $100 revision?

    • @TMTMS3
      @TMTMS3 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      You have to purchase a full new tune if you change the turbo. The turbo changes everything and requires starting over completely where as adding something like an intercooler is only a small change and wouldn't not require starting over completely with the tune.

What are the improvements in torque and HP that I can expect from your tune vs the stage 2 COBB OTS tune? Any other improvements in parallel to the torque and HP? What About: Does the ground need to be smooth, like a dyno? No dips, potholes etc. Does the ground need to be flat? Are on-ramps bad because they are sloped? Tires, what if you get some wheel spin, does that compromise the run? Snow tires? Thanks for making this video.

    • @TMTMS3
      @TMTMS3 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are wanting an accurate vdyno you need to be on the smoothest, flattest, straightest road possible. Otherwise it doesn’t matter than much for the tuning process.

      In my opinion, a "slight uphill" on-road log is the best. It properly loads the vehicle engine with real world conditions. 4th gear is good - little to none wheelspin unless your running serious power.

    So, my question is... If I was to get an E-Tune during the winter, will I need to have a revision done for the Spring & Summer?

    • @TMTMS3
      @TMTMS3 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It depends on how much of an extreme in temperature the tune is done in. I prefer to tune above 30 degrees F and below 100 degrees F, but there are comps on the tune to handle more extreme temps. It is just best to not dial the tune in at an extreme. You are always welcome to send a check up log though so I can make sure comps and everything are doing their jobs. The short answer though is no, you shouldn't need a revision.
