Great video, I just finished the install and I noticed there is no need to drill. @43:35 the black connector can be undone and the connector can be slide into one of the hole from the black screw between the license plate lights. Then use silicone on the hole to prevent water intrusion.
What you installed...does it work for iPhone? Everyone I see says Android Car Stereo. I have an iPhone and not an Android. So confused about what works with what? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Nice mines quicker I recommend looking at the company before you buy it and the higher storage usually means it’s quicker lol but not always, also I do like the deeper mount it looks cleaner to me and it’s the same exact fitment I got.

Hi, thanks for you video, it was very helpful. My only problem is that I made all the installation but the steering wheels bottoms doesn't work, I tried to configured at the system but I am getting errors. Could you let one recommend or instructions for fix that?
I ran into the same exact issue- I ended up just fully omitting that harness cause nothin matched up at all… sat back for an hour and realized its just tapping into the audio in of the OEM aux hence why we need to have the oem radio on aux 😂 So I used the 2-1 rca to 3.5mm cable and ran that out of the new head unit and into the center console Aux port. Works like a charm!

SOS! I try this upgrade on my car and somehow I can’t start my engine. Every time i try the key to start it shutting down everything and then i try to disconnect the battery and it’s do the same thing. PLEASE HELP ME. THANKS 🙏 🙏🙏
I installed the android screen and the audio worked fine. After installing the back up camera my front audio stopped working and only rear audio played. I connected the factory stereo and it worked just fine front and rear. Any ideas?
@@mrkimpham i did mention this in the video but you still need to drill for the camera wire, also I like the way i did it because i can adjust the camera up and down
How does the radio react when you turn the headlights on? I installed one from Amazon and when I turned on the headlights it blows fuse 6 on the passenger side and none of my interior lights work.
@@turbotona25 from what i gathered it seems like there’s an issue with the CAN decoder in certain trims and model years. mine is a 2011 lx sedan with no navigation

2012 Honda accord has a different wiring harness for the audio L/R extension. Im working with support to find the proper harness

They sell license plate light brackets with camera mount. No drilling needed. Did you get one with canbus?

woah! i had the same problem in january. nobody had a solution so i just returned it and got a refund.

Doesn't matter if you purchase the car from a dealer or private seller just call honda dealer and have your car vin ready and ask for the radio code
