Hey bro ! Nice review ! Just a quick question. I ordered myself the razer V2 chroma during the prime sale in uk and just came across the new V3 ! But it seems to be not available still. What do you reckon ? Keep the v2 or wait for the new V3? Thanks 🙏
Hey bro V2 is an amazing controller, but I did encounter issue with my sticks developing play towards top and there's no way of recalibrating V2. If you have a good centre point out of box and you got a good deal cheaper than V3 TE(£100) then keep it, otherwise get the V3 TE over the V2. There's been reports of V2 having broken back buttons after some play time, and the V3 back buttons are definitely better placed than V2.
@@thephototechy I got it for £75 ! Hopefully it’s good out of the box with no stick drift. Thanks for the reply ! Also, any idea where the V3 TE would be available ? Amazon doesn’t have it yet !
I returned it b/c of the dookie jh16. Cheap plastic feel, and back buttons being flat and sharp. Just enter recalibration and circularity should go down to 8-10%. (Depending on how centered the module is install by the factory) You must recalibrate with a 3% inner deadzone (or else the recentering will be off and above .01-.04 once you remove the deadzone) that way recentring behaves well under 0.005 when you go with 0% deadzone. Also you can calibrate with an outer deadzone at 30-65% to give yourself headroom with that setting. To be able to lower or increase the range. (Default just makes you max out before hitting the edge. Good for LS bad for RS) From factory they are calibrated with filtered 15.5% with squared diagnals. Simetrical ranges may be off. And you may need to use the tape method when recalibrating. (Notice undershoot issue in 4 different gamepads) ---- When pressing the triggers don't press to hard. Just enough to make contact so you can properly adjust the settings and have them reach 100% when using the trigger stops.
Bro I've done at least 15 calibrations on mine 😆, even tried without the friction ring but the right stick on mine got too much register on bottom and not enough top, so looked like the stick not centered with the top shell. I could get the centre to be really good on mine as well. The issue to me feels like a slow start of the sticks, which becomes uneven, my latency tests showed this to slower as well compared to even elite series 2.

Or b/c they calibrated with to much pressure. On the flimsy "anti-friction" rings. Lowest I got my right stick was 12%.(b/c of compensation. Could have been lower) Yet I can use calibration tricks to bring the LS to 5-6%. (8-10% being the sweet spot) But yes by the default. Outer Deadzone setting is useless. I’m still deciding between the victrix gambit prime and the fusion pro 4 😢 can’t make a decision! Anyone have any opinions!
Hi i know this question isnt related to this video but I'd really appreciate it if you could answer it.
Does the 1000hz on the gamesir g7 se work on the Series X?
Hey bro I've recently tested mine with firmware 6.30 and once set on PC to 1000hz it still improves performance on Xbox when compared to 250hz for sure.
@@thephototechy
Alright thanks for responding!
By the way would you recommend that I install the app? I just switched to windows 11 but I have already configured my controller so I might not need to download the app.
I'm also not sure if I should play with Raw input mode on or off. That was really confusing to me.
Thanks!
This or the nacon revolution 5? I play on PC
Hey would do you recommend for gamesir g7 se triggers to be set to do you know what numbers would be good for valorant so I can burst fire instead of shooting all the way?
This or the Gamesir G7 HE
i just sold my PowerA Fusion Pro 2 and want a replacement
G7 HE is about £35 while the fusion pro 4 is about £70
So is it worth double? I have the G7 SE and wanted something slightly differently but good
Thanks
There was an update on power a app the other day and the controller doesn't feel bad at all on rebirth , not great but not bad.. not sure if it's placebo
Still feels a bit weird unless I've gotten used to it now lol
Vader 4 pro all day check it out
The new modules for the eswap its like to that i have a high tension ingame butt the sticks feel loose what is this cant explain what it is butt its feel off for me hope a quick review about you bro
Vader 4 pro is still better right ?
hi, how many grams of force need to move the sticks?
You gotta test out the GameSir Tarantula Pro
Very tempted to get one even though I won't be able to use it as I only play on consoles. Definitely looks like an amazing option for sure.
@@thephototechy oh man you're so right seem like it doesn't support xbox. Knowing Gamsir they might come out with another model that works on xbox next year.
@@carreraluu I sure hope so bro, but there seems to be a G7 pro coming soon for xbox with the new Ksilver TMR sticks.
Havr try it again the sh5 its really ankward feeling about the sticks my iam is off its feel if i have a big dz i cant. Say for 100% what it is butt feel very strange iam back to the s5 modules have all ready try it 😮😅
V3 tournament best controller Pc ever? (for claw grip)
Gamesir is better for claw cause it’s smaller and doesn’t have 6 extra buttons making claw useless lol
Bro for claw grip I'm not sure if Razer's wide shell and stubby grips would be best. But you'll get a true 1000hz performance on PC and a very good aim output options, I've explained these my review , which should be out very soon.
My fusion pro 3 has input delay on pc
Same here it has 250 hz
That's why I'm moving to vader 4 pro
CAN you do a latency test for a kbm on ps5 pls. From 🇫🇷
The new modules hall effect for the eswap controller feel slow and not good
Feel weird
Hey bro mine supposed to be with me tomorrow, this isn't a good sign, will test it thoroughly
@@thephototechy hi please let us know what you opinion is about the feeling on the new modules its feel its have to much deadzone can't not say what it is tp compared the old modules are amazing feeling very responsive butt the hall effect modules feel weird to me
And Will This Controller Work On Android Phone
Can u have different profiles? I haven't watch whole video yet
@@bw536 hey bro so to me looked like it has 3 profiles, as just pressing the mapping button once the Xbox led flashes to show different blinks. But the mapping of the back buttons stays the same and doesn't change in any of the three seeming profiles.
@@thephototechy thanks
Hope you have all ready try new sh5 modules its really bad bro its feel weird i do also s5 stick putt o on the sh5 modules to use my kantrolfreek butt iam go back to the s5 modules its feel so much more accurate and senivivi its like the sh5 have much deadzone or much tension feel not right hope you answer me

Can u map triggers to back buttons
hey bro, so the app won't show the option, but using the method of on contrller mapping I was able to map both left and right trigger to the back buttons. Once done pressing the back button gave full 100 press of the triggers, hope this helps.
Thank you
Has anyone got a controller OC to work on these? I really want to run a 1000hz polling rate on the device. Currently running a Fusion Pro 3 thinking about a V4 as it wears out.
Dropped my fusion 3 for vader 4 even thoe controller was good shit was worth it from 250hz to 1000hz ❤
How many hz have?
Hey bro 250hz and locked.
do you know how heavy it is? like an exact number?
