- I wish I had a mom to transition with(14 months post). She passed away in ’04 when I was ten years old but I just know she would have went natural with me. You're so lucky to have your mom, and her hair is BEAUTIFUL. Have a feeling shes gonna love her journey.

my mom was the same permed hair past her back when I was young and then it all broke off especially at the front. I convinced her to go natural since she had very nice natural hair when she was young (unlike me). she got frustrated when she did not know how to style it (I was no help) and permed it again. Help your mom with styling I think it will make huge difference.

Well, I guess a lot has changed and you have been an inspiration to so many but especially the ones closest to you!
