I'm 3 months into my transition and your videos seriously help to keep me motivated! The patience you had with your hair throughout your transition is truly commendable. I have no desire to relax my hair ever again but i do contemplate big chopping prematurely but I really want to wait a year at least. I know everything comes in time. Thanks for your videos!
I know this is one of your older videos but I'm so glad you made this video! I was natural for 12 years and I was really struggling. I felt so overwhelmed with detangling my type 4 hair. I ended up getting a keratin treatment and then three months later I got a relaxer. The stylist said it was ok and I learned afterward I was misinformed. I'm starting to transition again and I'm so grateful to have found your channel! I'm starting over with hopefully more patience and better knowledge.
I'm in my 10th month of transitioning and I'm planning on transitioning for 2 years. you have been my go to channel foreverrrr. yoj have documented so much of your transitioning journey which has helped me sooo much, so thank you for not neglecting your subscribers during your transition!
I only relaxed my hair 2-3 times per year so when I transitioned from relaxed to natural, I opted not to do the big chop. I couldn't stand the idea of having short hair since my hair is naturally long (It's a few inches above my waist). Your hair looks great and I'm looking forward to checking out more of your videos.
You are such an inspiration!! I got my first relaxer 5 years ago and now I'm 17 ready to go back to natural. I'm 4 months post relaxer and I'm already in love with my curls (even though they're short) I can wait to see how they look in a year or 2. Congrats on going natural!
I'll be one year into my transition next month on the 26th! Your channel and many others have kept me motivated which has made the first year of the journey very easy! I'm going for another year! Thank you so much!
I was procrastinating on doing my hair this morning and this video inspired me to make it a wash day and enjoy my curls. Thanks Sweetie for this amazing video!
you're my inspiration and my teacher on my transition journey 😊 so glad I found someone I can look up to an learn from 😄 thanks for sharing 😙 your hair is beautiful 😍
I just did my big chop and I love it!!!!!! I was so ready and excited. It may take some people getting use to but I did it for me. I FEEL FREE FREE FREE😂
Videos so encouraging. I'm texlaxed dnt know if I'm ready to go 100% natural but I've already learned a lot from your videos who knows?? I got to get me a shirt soon love the look!!
I watched one of your first videos and you said your mother was not supportive of this decision and had a lot of negative things to say. I mean no disrespect in any way but am curious of what she has to say now. Your hair is phenomenal! Thank you for posting your journey i am in limbo but if i decide to "go natural" i will use your videos as a guide!
Hi! I'm from Spain so sorry about my English at first! I just wanted to know what have you been wearing on your hair(like how have you combed it, wigs, extensions, twist, straighting it with just heat and not quimicals and all that stuff. I have been transitioning for about 3 months or so and I just don't know what to do! I have been wearing extensions for about 3 years and now I want my curls back! I'm mixed! Thankss a million!
How did you grow your hair so long!? I have 4c nappy hair. I cut my hair since 2012 because I permed it and the crown of my hair broke off really bad and the sides stayed it's regular length. So since I cut it very very short it grew a tiny bit then it cut of again. Now it's very very short and I tried everything to grow it out. I don't know what to do! I try to grow it out but it just doesn't work out. Should I shave it again 😭 or grow it out?
You can wait as long as you want to, as long as you're comfortable with your length. :) My last relaxer was last February then I did my big chop last December.
my hair is 4a,at least that's what my friends and ppl on TH-cam say but my curl pattern is looser than yours. It tends to curl easily and its rather dry sometimes, also it stretched easily and shrinks easily when water is added...I guess what I'm trying to say is what is my hair type?I don't think I have one tbh
+Cindy99765 I don't believe it was harsh. I was a curious newly natural seeking advice and I was recommended to this experienced channel. Plus the owner of this channel has already consummated my response. I know she has a lot of supporters that will rise to her aid of a 'negative' comment arises...
Black girls have such beautiful hair

Omg! I think I finally found my natural hair twin!! Nobody's hair is completely the same but the thickness and the texture really are. Yeey!
I said the same thing. Hair twins lol. Loving seeing my curls come in.

You can wait as long as you want to, as long as you're comfortable with your length. :) My last relaxer was last February then I did my big chop last December.
