Cool craft. pretty awesome that you gave a shout out to other crafters that inspired you. Here's a thought: use masking tape or duct tape on the box edges, simple enough to get the result without the tedious spackle application.
Casually dropping that you play necromunda with probably the best necromunda terrain crafter's on TH-cam! Do all my favourite crafting youtubers just live in the same place and hang out all the time? 😅
Nicely done. "Almost Food" HA! I like how you included the others to help paint since they will also be using it, a little bit more of a connection to each other. Terrain can be as simple or complicated as you need/want. I used to build my terrain from found stuff like this but switched to printing cause of my hands.
in love w the idea of letting other players graffiti your buildings. everyone's gonna have their own idea, style, placement, etc that you're not in control of, which makes the graffiti feel a lot more authentic.
Looks awesome! You could also use masking tape, brown paper packing tape, or even stir sticks/pop sickle sticks/paper straws as pipes to cover the cardboard seams, might be a lot less fiddly than working with the spackle and give you more texture/detail too. Printing and gluing a sheet of tiny posters to the walls can be a great way to get more visual detail as well as graffiti.
I'll definitely try some of those for the next batch of these! haha I really wanted to do that but I don't have a color printer-- that's a great idea though!

Thanks! haha just giving credit where credit's due!
Oh that's a great idea. I'll try that on my next batch of boxes!

haha I think it's part of the TH-cam miniature contract that you have to move here. It's a weird (great) coincidence!

haha thank you thank you! It's fun seeing everyone else's graffiti on the walls.
Agreed! Printing is a great alternative to building like this.

Same! My thoughts exactly. Like one guy wrote "spargle" which is asparagus in german-- I'd never think to write that
These look awesome! Love the shout out to your grandma for the boxes.
Thanks! The amount of quality boxes she provides is fantastic
Great video, going to give these a try.
Thank you! That's cool to hear-- good luck! :D

Thanks! No problem!
Gorgeous stuff! Nice work!
Thank you very much! Love the battle mat

This is fantastic! Be careful though.... Terrain is a bigger habit that models are! Nice vid bro!🤘

These look great, well done on the video
I really appreciate it!
Awesome bud
Thanks man!
"Almost Food". 😆😆😆
haha "Almost Food: it's close enough"
A sad addendum to the 52 Miniatures videos: Brutal Cities, the company Alex showcased, has shut doors.
Oh no! That's really too bad. Their terrain looks really cool.
