Looks superb. Also watched Dana Howl painting this terrain t'other day and the fact that you've both taken such strikingly different approaches to painting it speaks to how well designed it is. Nice work Mr Jar.
A wise decision to enjoy painting the stuff that you like at your own pace. Loads of TH-camrs speed through any new box just to be amongst the first to ride the algorythm wave. Great job!
3 hours? Wtf. Priming with Airbrush, cleaning Airbrush chance colour, thin down, painting "black" details, clean airbrush - 3 hours are gone. Maybe you need 6 hours vor everything - what is defenitly also good.
Really loved this tutorial. Simple, to the point, and makes painting seem fun again instead of a skill flex. Thank you!
This is the best tutorial I've found on painting this terrain set! The application isn't overly complicated but the results look amazing! Thanks!!!
amazing terrain! a good example to follow!
Yaaaayyy you finished Shatterpoint ❤ looks awesome
Honestly not been this excited for a game in ages. Played it a few times now with friends and we love it
Fantastic contrasts on those
Looks great, well done.
Thanks very much :)
Looks great!
These are totally the droids I’m looking for!
Hahaha

Thanks very much for your kind words :)
Looks bloody amazing. I’ve got some old Necromunda bulkheads I’ll be using this guide on
Nice one!
I agree, colour forge matt is great! These look fab
Thanks very much!
Looks great that Josh, the weathered stripes look spot on, very nicely done dude.
Thanks very much, that's very kind of you!
This looks amazing dude. Definitely going to be using this for my terrain
Cheers buddy!
Cheers buddy! Looking forward to getting a game in with you
That is some good looking terrain, really good. I'll have to have look at some of this new Star Wars stuff, I'm now thinking about Star Wars dioramas
Cheers chief, pretty happy with it for a quick speed paint job. The shatterpoint stuff is really nice to paint, I'm having a blast working on it

Cheers bud! Yeah, the temptation to try and blitz new boxes is strong but above all else I’m just a hobbyist that wants to enjoy his hobby 😅
Looks great mate. Can't wait to play on it 👍
Not long now!
Such a simple paint job but looks amazing 😊
Thanks very much :)
@@ThePickleJar you are welcome
Top work!
Loved the intro :)
Thanks very much :)
I seriously need an airbrush!! Amazing job!
It really does help speed things up loads.
Great stuff mate - looking forward to getting started on mine!
Yes mate!
Nice work! Looks great. 👍
Cheers buddy!
Looks great, and very no-fuss.
Thanks very much :)
Looks epic this dude. Can seriously see your improvements. Also, the editing updates on the videos and stuff too! Great work buddy!
Cheers buddy :)
Fantastic work! Your terrain looks great. I really must invest in an airbrush 😅
Sweet Video!!
Hello. Can you tell me what airbrish needle size and psi you are using for the bone and black overcoat?
i'LL GIVE A TRY
Hello. Did you use some pigment fixer after using the weathering powders or the final varnishing is enough to hold the powders in place?
How would you suggest doing the OSL on the lights? Did you use inks?
Yeah, easiest way is thinned inks/contrast paints/speed paints. Basically, anything that is transparent so it's not just a solid colour
If you don't own an airbrush, how would you go about painting this terrain?
I’d do most if it the same tbh. I’d use a lot more stippling to build up texture and base colours instead of the airbrushing
Is that what your hair goes like in humid weather?
I always imagined you'd look more like one of the BeeGees...
Nah, I was fresh out of the shower when I recorded that section. My hair goes dry and frizzy unless I treat it every day
Shower fresh hair!
Yep, had just took a cold shower to cool down in the crazy heat we had
That terrain wouldn’t look out of place in the 40/30 k universe
It’d need a few hundred skulls 😅
@@ThePickleJarThe color scheme would make sense for a Tau colony or something
wet hair
You love it

I mean, I was there, I know how long it took...it took 3 hours (give or take 10/15 minutes?) lol
It took me 4 hours just to prime everything black with an airbrush.
