I’m so glad I found this video, everything I’ve seen from you so far has been absolutely stunning, I was wondering how your creative process starts, and how you plan ahead for detailing
Awww, thank you so much! ❤️ Before building I usually make a kind of 'mood board' with some inspirational art, could just be random bits and pieces aesthetic, or something more whole. I'll then start sketching with brick on the desk, just lines and facades, nothing connected, just little builds on little stands, trying to achieve a pleasing "shell" for the model. I'll then start completely over and attempt to create something with that shell, solve geometry/connection problems, create a frame, refactor and strengthen, and end up with a real model. And finally, I'll iterate and polish, playing with color or bits of details until it feels "done". 👍 Cheers!

Yet another awesome, mind-blowing model. I see you've really capitalised on the new pieces, putting them to great use! Seriously good job. This ship is awesome! Ive been a massive fan ever since i first saw your stuff on brickjournal. I have a quick question though, where are the green windscreen pieces you use for the cockpit from? I have off and on been trying to ID them for the past 2 days with absolutely no luck. Thanks!
Thanks! I feel touched that you've been enjoying my models so much. 😊❤️ Your question is excellent -- the canopy element is 92832. It was only produced in trans-light-blue (as you probably found) but I wanted a green. So I used a turmeric dyeing technique shared in the Eurobricks forum. Adding yellow tint to the blue created the green. 👍
This build is insane, I feel like i have been thinking in 2D all my life and this man just showed me the 3rd dimension.

Aww, cool! I'm happy you could feel the R-Type inspiration. Thanks! ☺️
I rlly like the design of this ship🤩🤩 and i’d love to build it following the steps you took, pls release step by step guide soon if you haven’t already 🙏🏽
Thats awesome!!! i was absolutely baffled by where it came from it looks exactly like legos trans green! it turned out awesome
Absolutely GORGEOUS.
This is UNBELIEVABLE.
Awesome build, mindblowing techniques. And I really like the style, reminds me of the old StarWolves series of PC games.
I'm happy you enjoyed it. 😁 I had to look up the reference: awesome! ❤️
I ca't unsee the shovels canon xD
Magnificent build!
Thanks! -- I was happy when the shovel design came together! 😅
