I just wonder the dry yeast can mix with salt? What I learned the yeast cannot mix with salt will dies off the yeast. I m confuse. Its just my worries...sorry for asking. 🙂✌️✌️

I baked this bread (thanks for the inspiration :*). . For my taste, the salt is more than necessary (although I used less than given in the recipe). All in all, it seems that I still prefer bread kneaded and baked the same day.
That kind of bread is typical in La Paz, Bolivia, in South América. We call it "marraqueta" it's delicious!!!!

There are dozens of videos about pizza dough making. many are mixing yeast and salt live. Nothing happens!
That is what I was taught, I always mix the salt with the flour whatever recipe I follow. It's a habit.
