    The back play in the bezel is a Godsend when you are a working diver in saltwater. This gives you the ability to clear silt and salt from it without it jamming. It’s a design feature, not a fault ;)

    The U50 now ships with the updated SW300 with 56 hours of PR. I have read this in several places now and it has (apparently) been confirmed by Sinn. This is a much welcome improvement but since Sinn does not even communicate power reserves on their own website, not many people know about this.

    For someone early in the watch collecting game, U50 is the best, most wearable one. The more wearable, the more wrist-time and more satisfaction from the ownership of a watch.
    But I could imagine the UX being the easy winner if you already has a substantial watch collection, at that point missing out the mechanical movement doesn't matter. Being oil-filled and the visual effect that comes with it is just so special.
    At first I was put off by the "servicing" required which is counter-intuitive for a quartz, but then think about it as a proper horological piece and send it back for a full service every 8-10 years isn't that bad at all, just as what you'd do for your other precious mechanical watches.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep I 100% agree with you PP U50 best first watch but the UX for the collector as there is just something very special about the oil which once your into collecting watches you just cant help but appreciate

    Just ordered my U2 S last weekend. If you go tool watch, go all the way. I think the U2 has a domed crystal because it can withstand more water pressure than a flat one. The UX GSG 9 looks great also, but I like mechanical watches more than quartz ones. Plus I'm afraid that the UX in black will look too much like a smart watch. Never considered the U1, I really don't like the Lego styling.
    Did I mention smart watch? I made U2, UX and UX GSG 9 watch faces for my Garmin Epix, just to see which one I liked most.

I do collect autos only but would never pay the same for an auto and a quarts, only exemption would be a GS but that offers not only the mechanism that is great but also the out of this world finish. Having owned the U1 Professional I can honestly say the T1/T1B are the superior Sinn divers. I do own the T1 on silicone and T1B on bracelet. They are way more comfortable and of course much lighter being Grade 5 Titanium. Bezel action and lume are better as well. The T1’s bezel action is perfect with its push to turn movement. They also have the better movement too. Depending on year of manufacturer- ETA 2892-2A or the earlier versions had Soprod A10-2.

    The Bezel on the U1 being a bit loose is intentional to prevent small bits of grit from jamming it. The bezel might not feel as nice as the bezel on something like a Rolex Submariner, but that's because Sinn prioritized functionality over feel. Any diver will prefer Sinn's bezel. I think the real flaw here might be that the U50's bezel is too tight as it's not intended that way.

    U50 or a black bay 58 ...what to spend ur money 💰 on ?

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  ปีที่แล้ว

      Tough one , if its your only watch and you wear a suit a lot I'd say the BB58 but other wise the U50 Mark

    • @markveganism5003
      @markveganism5003 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ClickSpringReview it will be my only watch and I don't wear suits other than weddings ,funerals, christening etc ...I love both for different reasons...I love the look of the BB58 for its retro classy style ,I love the brand name status with tudor ,its awesome..one down side is only 200 m water resistant s ..for me I've never owned a watch with 500 m ..so that for me is important...I love the german sub steel used for sinn ..its really something to boast about and quite special, everything is great but it has no bling ! Or not as much as the BB 58 I should say ...they are both perfect but for different reasons ..my only concern is if I got the sinn u50 would I get bored with the lack of bling ? Or would the tegimented technology over come its lack of jewelry bling 🤔..I can't see myself getting board of the bb58 at all ..but that could also be the case with the u50 but I can't say that with the same conviction...so comes down to a bit of a gamble

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With the Tudor everyone knows its an expensive watch the Sinn flys under the radar unless you really know your watches , The Sinn does look great on the silicone straps so if you get bored you could always swap it round

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes this true but did you know if you watch says it has 30m of Water Resistance it doesn't mean it can go 30m under water in the real world it is only good for washing your hands or maybe your car. 50m means your ok with having a showing with it on, You shouldn't swim with a watch unless it has 100m of WR and then only really surface swimming its all because of dynamic water pressure 👍🏻

      Sinn watches with AR don’t have any Harry they place the watch in an inert gas tank when placing the finished movement into the case and then fitting the case back 👍🏻
