Great video and helpful. Our experience of the unit is mixed. Using it with Apple products we have found to be problematic with the audio just too noisy, hissy and gritty to use - plus, finding the right DAW to use has been a challenge. Audacity is unusable with too many dropouts and terrible delay in headphones. Using it with a Windows laptop yielded better results though and we got decent output from this using Audacity. We bought the unit for remote recording but it's not going to be as it simply does not work well with an iPhone. Still, at £99 it's good value for Windows devices.
"Hey, see if you can help me out... I bought this mic and it's great, but I'm trying to use it on a mixer that my wife uses for travel livestreams, the Maonocaster lite, where the microphone ports are 3.5mm. Any small or shotgun microphone that's already 3.5mm works, but I tried using this Sennheiser with various XLR/3.5mm cables and it remains silent."
Unfortunately I can’t answer this, it should work but I would be concerned it can not provide enough gain for certain dynamic microphones. Which one do you want to connect?
Hey Man great vid ! I’m recording off of studio one , it’s picking up my mic and I’m able to record but it won’t record the sound effects. How do I get it to record them as well?
Hello! Have you made sure to use the USB interface? And have the mixer set up correctly? I would recommend to connect headphones to the output to monitor it :)
@@andi I just got the same product and I’m experiencing the same problems. Are we not supposed to use the manucaster as a interface? Also what do you mean by the headphones in the output. And what are the proper mixing levels?
Yes definitely use it as the Interface! By the mixing levels checking the device if the sound effects also are output when you connect headphones to it via the monitor port. Are you using it with a PC or mobile device?
I have not tested with a different brand microphone! I assume it’s optimised for smaller ones like the included but I also think the video micro should work. Dynamic mic might not, as they require a bit more gain.
Then that should be great! I know the one I have from Shure is extremely gain hungry so it needs a booster between. So if yours work from smartphone I believe it will be plenty enough :D
This product looks great! I wanna have one for my coming podcast as well.

Hey, it could be that the microphone requires phantom power!
I wonder if you could use 2 phones(1 for playback 1 for streaming while mobile) instead of 1 phone and your computer..
Do you have to connect to Mic 1??, I bought a used version my port is cracked
looks so cool this kit, good video🤩
Thank you!
I’m trying to use it to podcast but the phones not connecting with voice memo or anchor. Help me please
Let's gooo Andi !!
Can you have external sound and phone on loudspeaker to make calls?
Finally !! The Microphone testing was really nice :)
Yeeees finally!! And thanks so much 😃
Neatest MC lite demo video
Great video thank you
Nice review 👌
Thank you!
Can we use an existing dynamic with 3.5 wire out...since dynamic requires less power too

@@andi using PC, how do you make the sound effects output?
Would I have to register it as a recording device on this software in order to do that?
good
Have you tried Rode video micro or a Dynamic type Mic??
