I came across this review I automatically subscribed right after. My brother got me the Maono Caster lite for Christmas 🎄 and a few other gadgets. Since I traveled back home I needed to refresh from what my brother thought me. This was awesome will watching again so I can actually follow with iPad thanks for this great review.
Tks for teaching us the Maonocaster Lite ,I tried to do LIVE with Maono with the background music from my PC, it didn't go on the LIVE output broadcast It was only me that I can hear with my earplugs that's all, my guest and others cannot be heard. I am using streamyard. thank you for your reply.
Just as an FYI, I got this shortly after this review. I used it for a couple of months but, was limited to dynamic mics. I then got the AU AM-100 which has dual XLR and phantom power. It has a few more features and, last week I took it out to do a remote at a local coffee shop. It worked great and I was able to use one condenser mic and one dynamic. Low cost and effective. If all you are doing is voice the Maono caster mic is not terrible. Just for fun I looked of Maona and it means "Visions" in Swahili

I just purchased this and for the life of me I am not connecting it correctly to my MacBook Pro. When I got live on tic Tok I can hear music in my headphones but my audience doesn’t hear anything. I have tried everything. I’m giving up. Would you please help me???im desperate.
@@gregoryrothwell3640 i connect it in My cellphone. At Pod1 then i use livestreaming app. Like KUMu. In use dynamic mic or the Moano mic that comes in the pckage i bought.

Mine, im using my ipad for music source and an iphone for pod 1… you can have always the two options bluetooth or using wire, if your device supports it. Like all apple products, it has only lighting for iphones, for mac u can use the regular 3.5 mm, for ipad u can use usbc, or the older model(3.5mm)…. I use, dongles usc c to 3.5 for my ipad, and belkin connector for my iphone

@Tammy mine didn’t come with cable “3” that you mentioned. Does the usb-c cable that comes with the iPad Pro work? That’s how I’m connecting mine but Garage band is not recognizing the audio coming from the mixer. It keeps trying to use the built in iPad mic. When I hit record in Garage Band (iPhone OR iPad while on bluetooth) it changes from “channel 1” to mic… im sure this has something to do with the problem. Thank you so much for your help. I’ve searched all over and you’re the only one that seems to be using this with an iPad Pro.
@@tammysypniewski1891 ya, sure did. I can even hear sounds that I play coming through the headphones. I tried it on my windows laptop and it did work. I think it’s the cable. The usb c cable that came with my old pro doesn’t work so I’m going to try to purchase a cable like the number 3 cable you have, usb a to usb c, and use the cable that actually came with the maono caster and hoping that works.
Love your video, but cannot seem to sync it with my android system. I do have it synced with my computer and we will see how far that goes in giving me what I need. Thanks for your well-informed video.
Hey Tammy, my version of the Maonocaster Lite has a minor difference. On the right sided buttons, the bottom left one reads "loop back" instead of "OTG music". Please could you do a tutorial on how exactly the loop back function works? Thank you!

Hi Tammy.. That was the most comprehensive tutorial I’ve heard on Maonocaater Lite. Thank you. My order just came four days ago. My question is, is there a better way to have a call come directly through the sound card and not on the phone? I connected my iPhone with the sound card through Bluetooth and it worked well, but when I tried receiving a call, it just stayed on the phone and didn’t give an option to answer through Bluetooth. This isn’t great for an interview especially with a guest that away from the studio. But can you do that through some recording app like the GarageBand or other?

I have an usb maono mic and a camera usb adapter/charger for my iphone with a lightning port. I’m lost how to connect this up to my TikTok live streaming setup.
I really need help. I am using the MaonaCaster lite mixer. I need to be able to hear the audio track already on the dashboard so that I can do a voiceover on top of it. I have the headset plugged into the mixer along with the mic as instructed. Yet, the only sound I can hear is what I am saying into the mic and I cannot HEAR the other tracks. What gives? I have both my input and output settings to the mixer because both the headset (output) and the mic (input) are there. I just dont understand! Please help!

Are you connected through bluetooth? They stopped making it with cable #3. I don't know why. Please reach out to Maono direclty with any issues because they'll have a fix for you.

Are you doing this live or can you edit to make that sound? Any video editor you use should have that affect. LumaFusion has it. Audacity also has a preset for that.

Are you using one of the 3.5 jacks in the back to go to a device? That's your audio out so you need that. I haven't connected this to anything but an ios device so I don't know, I don't think you can connect it to a windows device.

Laptop Cabling : a) cable USB to connect 1 to 4 b) 2 to 1 c) 3 to 1 Then using Streamyard or Zoom Meeting, I set up mic and speaker in Laptop system chosed MAONO (both speaker n mic) But others in Streamyard or Zoom meeting cannot hear the sound effects when I push the button. So i have this device and i can't see any cable 3 inside the box. I cant hear the effects on my phone when recording but i can hear it through my headphones tho. Is there anything i still need search for?
I recommend that you should reach out to Maono directly. If you're recording to your phone you should hear it. Are you sure the audio going out is all the way up?
I have run into a setup problem, I had the system come thru my Iphone 12, but now, when I plug into the system with my headset all I hear is static, it has something with the system, the headphone. I dont have it plugged into my phone.
Can someone please help me, I have a maonocaster lite. I have a Samsung s21 plus 5g which does not have plug in earphone capabilities. Is my phone not compatible to audio video record to podcast? Also is the maonocaster lite only a live streaming product or can you record and post later?
I'm using adobe audition to record, but when I have caster set up it doesn't record. I checked the input output on audition its all correct. I've tested with my regular computer mic and it works but with the moano device it does record the sound. Please help?
Are you using the POD out jack to go into your computer? Also, you may want to contact Maono directly for any tech issues. I'm sure they'll have all the answers.
Have you tried this on an IG live or tiktok? Can viewers hear the effects in real time? (Mine can’t) I plugged the pod outputs directly into my iPad and phone and neither worked…I can hear it just fine through headphones-my audience can’t though
By connecting it directly to the ipad etc thru cable, is it only for power/charging purposes? Or both power/charge and for it work? In the video you still activated bluetooth, Will it work connected thru cable only or still need bluetooth to work in ipad/phone?

This little guy only takes 3.5 mic jacks, unless you have a usb to 3.5 converter. If you want to do a mix minus I recommend getting the Maonocaster, the bigger one. That has xlr inputs though

Why does the Denoise button have so much robotic background noise? I'm wondering if this is any different in other Maono soundboard models?

Are you using one of the 3.5 jacks in the back to go to a device? That's your audio out so you need that. I haven't connected this to anything but an ios device so I don't know, I don't think you can connect it to a windows device.

Cabling :
a) cable USB to connect 1 to 4
b) 2 to 1
c) 3 to 1
Then using Streamyard or Zoom Meeting, I set up mic and speaker in Laptop system chosed MAONO (both speaker n mic)
But others in Streamyard or Zoom meeting cannot hear the sound effects when I push the button.

So i have this device and i can't see any cable 3 inside the box. I cant hear the effects on my phone when recording but i can hear it through my headphones tho. Is there anything i still need search for?
I recommend that you should reach out to Maono directly. If you're recording to your phone you should hear it. Are you sure the audio going out is all the way up?

I have run into a setup problem, I had the system come thru my Iphone 12, but now, when I plug into the system with my headset all I hear is static, it has something with the system, the headphone. I dont have it plugged into my phone.

Can someone please help me, I have a maonocaster lite. I have a Samsung s21 plus 5g which does not have plug in earphone capabilities. Is my phone not compatible to audio video record to podcast? Also is the maonocaster lite only a live streaming product or can you record and post later?

I'm using adobe audition to record, but when I have caster set up it doesn't record. I checked the input output on audition its all correct. I've tested with my regular computer mic and it works but with the moano device it does record the sound. Please help?
Are you using the POD out jack to go into your computer? Also, you may want to contact Maono directly for any tech issues. I'm sure they'll have all the answers.

Have you tried this on an IG live or tiktok? Can viewers hear the effects in real time? (Mine can’t) I plugged the pod outputs directly into my iPad and phone and neither worked…I can hear it just fine through headphones-my audience can’t though

Yes, if you want to get it into the iphone unless you're using the bluetooth but I find the bluetooth lagged a bit for me.

In the video you still activated bluetooth, Will it work connected thru cable only or still need bluetooth to work in ipad/phone?
It still works without cable but I like having the cable there and it doesn’t power the device.

This little guy only takes 3.5 mic jacks, unless you have a usb to 3.5 converter. If you want to do a mix minus I recommend getting the Maonocaster, the bigger one. That has xlr inputs though
