mic pick up noise, that's because you turn off the "denoise" button lol

Hey everyone! Thanks for the overwhelming response to this video. Just wanted to post a quick update that I received from Maono. Due to feedback from customers on how they use this bundle, and to reduce the amount of packaging and waste, the second version of the AM200 that's now shipping will have one less aux cable and two fewer cardboard boxes. They found that most people are not using all of the cables at once and they can significantly reduce the packaging by making this small adjustment to keep the price the same. I'll post an update video soon with the new packaging! Thanks as usual for watching :)

You could just run your condenser microphone to a phantom power supply and run the power supply to the interface

My brother hooked me up as he always does and this was my Christmas 🎄 gift and many more. My brother always surprised me I am so happy with it it's so impressive I'm glad $100 but I think it's worth more that's how impressive it is.
Do any of these sound card things have a program to change the default sound board? If you could use them as a midi controller too that'd be a big step up

Those prerecorded sound effects are really lame It's a shame you can't record over them. If you could I would definitely say this is the way to go for a budget build.

Correct! You can broadcast using a computer or a phone and use a phone or computer (whatever has a headphone jack output) for the music!
Great video! I have a question, I’m having trouble connecting the Maono to my Mac computer. It won’t pick up the mic or the mixer in general. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong? Do I need a certain app to run with this?
Hi Darien! I’ll be honest, I’m a PC guy and haven’t personally tested it with a Mac. For me it’s completely plug and play with no app required. Hopefully other Mac users can chime in. Thanks for watching!

I'm using with Audacity and the recording volume is very low, even with the mic and rec volumes at the top, any ideas why?? thanks! great reviews!

I purchased one for fun. This little system is great for pre-record your videos, BUT not going live. Warning! Your music input will not work while live streaming (the sound/music) is faded, like far away; I can't hear it.
You have to have the loop back button on but you probably figured that out already.

Hi! I have been gifted this mixer (just the mixer. nor the mic) by a friend, but I don´t know which XLR mic (better than the one of the pack) ? Because it must be connected through an XLR to Jack connection. Hello, I bought it to start my podcast with no clue on this, your explanation was so helpful since the instructions are not detail and there is nowhere else to get help. I am still working on how to add the music feature, for some reason it is not working on my Microsoft computer when recording , but on my daughter’s Mac, it works perfectly.

I am considering purchasing a Moanocaster Lite AU-AM200-S4 but was wondering if you could tell me if I can make certain connections work for the way I podcast?
Here is my setup.
I have a PC that I use Adobe Audition to record my podcast.
I use a soundboard software program on the same PC that I play SFX (show opens, sound effects, etc.)
My podcast partner lives out of town so I use Zoom on a different laptop with a USB External Stereo Sound Adapter so I can do HEADPHONE OUT from the Zoom laptop into the mixer and FX Out going OUT from the mixer to the MIC input of the Zoom laptop.
That is my setup. I'd like to not have to use the laptop and use either my phone or my android tablet to record the Zoom audio from it into the new mixer but make sure that my podcast partner can hear all of the sound effects coming from my PC?
Does that make sense? Will those connections work by bypassing the laptop (and using phone or tablet) using the Maonocaster?

ALL-IN-ONE Podcast Production Studio Set. Mic is only on working voice recorder app, it is not working in video recording, please suggest me how to record the video with mic at a time...
observation, sorry if someone already said it, but, the arm for the mic and shock mount is actually what need to change for picking up the sounds from the table and when you touch the mic itself, get a better arm and mic shock mount, and you all set, overall THANKS FOR THE VIDEO, GREAT JOB!

I really need help. I am using the MaonaCaster lite mixer. I need to be able to hear the audio track already on the dashboard so that I can do a voiceover on top of it. I have the headset plugged into the mixer along with the mic as instructed. Yet, the only sound I can hear is what I am saying into the mic and I cannot HEAR the other tracks. What gives? I have both my input and output settings to the mixer because both the headset (output) and the mic (input) are there. I just dont understand! Please help!

Hey Liem, thanks for watching! In theory the 48V should work for any condenser microphone, but I don’t really have a way of testing the power to make sure its actual 48V and now just for show. The microphone doesn’t function without it on, but I’m not sure if that is due to voltage or it just being a mute button.

OK, I need to know if this device will work with windows computer OBS because my sound quality when I am streaming from my Xbox to my capture card to my computer then streaming or making videos onto my computer and uploading them onto TH-cam my sound is crap . Plus also how do you set it up to your windows computer? What goes where.
How did you setup this vlog? Is your audio recording separate from your video recording and stitched together on an editing app? Or is your microphone and video input connected to OBS?

I did some research on this but I couldn't find the actual outputs information input information which was weird to me but I'm only 5 minutes into this video he pulled out the converter cable I'm sold
I just got this. Went into settings on my laptop to make sure output and input was the Maono. I go into my software for recording my podcast and set the settings to the Maono and I’m getting nothing when recording. What am I doing wrong?
