There is no difference in weight for the crank pulley because it’s a harmonic balancer has to be the same weight it’s smaller in size but has to be the same weight or it would screw up the motor.... sorry but your guy needs to know more about the part they are talking about....
even if I installed these correctly and I got a new serpentine belt and the pulleys are installed nice and tight why do they wobble ? my stock ones didn't wobble ever
Well what is the point of more hp when my engine is already overheating when im pushing it to the limit? I mean this is going to slow down the water pump so i guess this is only good for drag strips?
Hey I have these on my 3v and the harmonic balancer face is loose and rattling, do you have any advice ? Could I possible remove the Allen keyed bolts or will it mess up the pulley
I have those pulleys installed on my gt, and the harmonic balancer cover is ratting and lose, I was wondering if you can remove the Allen key bolts to take the lose part off, it happens all the time with the sr pulleys, any advice?
@@CalifoniaSnipezZ they just rattle man they are not balanced like the OEM ones (the oem ones have a line guiding you so know you where they go so you wont mess up timing or something like that *i am not an expert just a intermediate learner with basic mechanical work knowledge** I don't trust rattily wobbly pulleys I decided to return mine not worth the ten horse power if I'm sacrificing reliability I have video I can email you on how wobbly they are
DO NOT buy these! All the small bolts backed out and the disk on the front went flying in the engine bay cutting by wiring harness. Now my computer wont talk to the tuner and the car wont run!!! Buy a different brand!!
What did you do to fix the problem? Can you remove the Allen keyed bolts from the harmonic balancer? I have the sr udp and it’s mushroomed the bolts and it’s wobbling inside the harmonic balancer

Im a little concerned about how it will effectively cool considering the water pump pulley will be spun at a slower rate.
Wouldn't engine get messed up without the harmonic balancer?
do these cause bearing wear because they dont dampen as well as the stock harmonic balancder?
Would these work on the 4.6 3v f150 ?
I have a question, how do i remove that exact same crank pulley once installed?

So can these work if I put them on my 2010 5.4 F-150?
So if I get these will it take away my ac ?
No, it may reduce the effectiveness slightly but the difference usually isn't that drastic
Get the Steeda brand, I have that brand on my 2V.

I don’t know because my local dynospeed shop installed them for me.
Now what pulley puller do you use to get it off
its a bit late now but the sr performance crank pulley has threaded holes so a threaded pulley like oemtools #57187 would work
"PARASTHETIC" - Hoonigan
whats stopping me from putting these on a v6?
Nothing I’ve seen it done
What’s better Sr or Steeda?
Steeda!
Will the car overheat
With a properly functioning cooling system and normal driving conditions, It shouldn't be an issue. -Justin
Been running the Steeda ones for over a year, no issues.
Can run a better pump and bigger rad to offset any loss
Have had steeda underdrive pulleys on my 06 Mustang GT for over 10 years, no issues.
why didn't yall turn on the car i wanted to see if the SR pulleys wobble
