These videos are beyond top tier production value, a far cut above what another MK creator is even thinking of. And so conveniently my favorite character. I love the guides, but if you are making more of these I think it is a great time to see what Smoke/Motaro can do in the current meta!
Thats so awesome of you to say, thank you so much!! I'm definitely working on more of them! But yooo it's funny you say that about Motaro. I wrote him off as being useful for Smoke back in early access, but this recent buff to the Low Tailshot makes him hilariously fun to use with Smoke, so ill definitely be making one for them!
@AwesomeBRINKS you should consider uploading some gameplays of just low effort content too to feed that algorithm and react to patches to get on that content train. Obviously don't give up your thing but the delivery and comedy and everything is the recipe for a great content creator in general and I think the community needs players like you extra badly. There's nobody else in the world crunching every Shujinko Smoke combo they can think of. It's a sin if you don't get mad views you should become a personality too not just a teacher
@@daffyvision2935I've actually thought about what content I could make that takes less time than the guides lol. The guides just take so long for me to make sure I have as much info about the characters as I can get. I've definitely considered reaction type stuff to supplement the other videos, especially for Ermac when his trailer drops. A patch reaction/breakdown is a good idea though! I super appreciate you saying that though dude!! I'm trying to find my niche in this community and grow enough to have my own little corner where I can help people learn in a different way from other creators, while also being THE Smoke and Shujinko guy lmao Thank you again for saying all that and for the suggestions, I will definitely try and experiment with some different ideas to hopefully grow my channel more to support the main guide projects!
@AwesomeBRINKS As long as you're making high value informational and guide content, just feeding the algorithm is probably the play. If you could ever do something like a few hour stream, you could do planned segments like Kombat League for a bit, lab for a bit to work on the guide, and whatever else you do. Then you have long form content from streaming, you can edit it down as a videos of kombat league sets, reactions, training sessions and whatnot for TH-cam. Then take clips of those fort shorts and tiktoks, then just post about the uploads on socials or how your day/stream went and everything just to keep posting every day or so. Just getting the algorithm to keep pushing you really definitely don't sleep on just how important showing up in people's feed every day is. Doesn't really matter why. I couldn't see why you couldn't do something like Super or Dynasty. Especially playing Shujinko he's a content machine with all the variety and he probably will only get buffed in the future so people will become more interested I think. The MK community and fighting games in general can be really tight knit and niche as you know and if for some reason it doesn't work for you I'm sure there's many games coming in the future that would welcome you, like Tekken, Project L, and Under Night 2, but this content from the first video has been the best informational MK content I've watched from any game since MK9. Ketchup and Mustard videos are really good, but all of their uploads come from their stream like how I was talking about before, and I think it loses some of that structure and clarity yours have. But they have it figured out by making one long piece of content into a bunch of smaller ones. Just playing the game and having fun should honestly be enough to separate you and you definitely shouldn't need to only make super high quality content but the guides will probably be your big meat and potatoes on bringing people in. Just seems like only issue right now is the TH-cam algorithm needs to keep pushing it. You probably need to make like as many shorts as possible breaking up various parts of the video. I noticed you have a few but the GaryVee way is posting like 20 damn things a day
@@daffyvision2935 Sorry for taking so long to get back to your message, was away for the holidays and just got back. But after watching this video, I really want to get back to Sektor haha. Keep up the good work, solid stuff!
Also wanted to bring this up, and you might be aware, but because you love the restand in the corner with Sektor, you're going to love Sub Zero freeze in the corner, while opponent in the air mid combo, followed by amp smoke ball into 344 - keeps opponent in the corner after decent damage and you're invisible (gotta deal with opponents wake up options though as a downside, but it's not too bad)
