Lmao thats sick dude. She's hard to get used to for the puppet combos cuz you have to do a lot of holding the kameo button and releasing it during specific animations but once you start to get used to it, you can do some absolutely insane stuff. Lemme know if you find any dope routes that I didnt show!
@@AwesomeBRINKS I did it with 2 smoke ports for like 440 I think but I really liked it for the reason the 1,2,2,4 opens up to be about to get the cutting room four. Usually hard to get opponents opened up for that combo to get into smoke ports
Yea exactly. He doesn;t really rely on kameos for good combo damage, so that makes him able to mess with a lot more kameo options. I love it. I've never tried Sonya with Smoke but I can imagine her giving him some neat extensions

Honestly I mostly look for the point that Smoke begins to twist and lift his foot off the ground during the BF3 before the last hit, thats when I call Janet. I haven't gotten it exactly consistent yet, but its around that point of the animation if that makes sense. Also I may have forgotten to mention it in the video, but you can mix and match the 2 different distance inputs for consecutive punches, and it'll just be whichever one you called first. And for the BF3 version, I call the close version, and then the next one I do the far input so that I can just hold forward to have Smoke walk alongside the juggle. If you end up walking too fast, you might have to hold block briefly before you input the F121+3 so that you don't walk underneath the opponent while Janet is hitting them
Thanks bro for the reply and extra tips, I also realised when smoke twists his foot is about the timing for calling janet but still cant get it consistently to connect makes me doubt how viable it would be online with input delay, if you do manage to find a way to better time janet to be more consistent please let me know bro.

I do think it'll be possible to get consistent with it eventually, just by way of getting used to the rhythm of the inputs rather than reacting to a clear visual cue. But time will tell for sure. But I will for sure let you know if I do find a more definitive way of getting it!
I think it's probly a decent team. I wanna do a Smoke kameo tier list one of these days, and I'd probly put Tremor in B tier at the highest tbh. Full combo from armor is really good, but Smoke's armor move is not good, so it's not the most game-changing thing but still good. Some of the mix setups seem good with the ball, but theyre kinda specific to set up which makes them less useful. And then the launchers and crystal armor dont seem thaaaat great to me but theyre usable. I honestly havent labbed him a ton so maybe theres some stuff im missing but as of right now, I think hes just okay. Which is disappointing because Tremor is one of my favorite MKX characters and I really wanted Smoke/Tremor to be my team lol

Hmmmm, honestly I've started to become a Scorpion believer. But Sub, Lao and Sektor are also up there. Any kameo that lets him get full combos off of a F3>cancel>1114 is automatically super good, and being able to combo off of BF3 makes his pressure even stronger, and Scorpion let's you do both, while also being able to conserve meter for invisibility since you can extend from regular teleports with him. Janet also does both of these things, but not as well in the corner. I love Sektor, but if I'm being objective, I might have to say Scorpion gives Smoke the most

It was supposed to be just a chill off the cuff summary but this kameo ended up being so ridiculous that I needed to actually script my thoughts and organize the video like a normal Kameo Klass episode lmao. Totally understandable about Sareena though. As much as I make jokes shitting on her, she's still a solid kameo for Smoke. And my favorite part about kameos is how they let you kinda tailor your playstyle a certain way. $6 for a kameo does seem kinda high. I pre-ordered the premium version so I could get early access cuz I was too excited for this game so I always forget how expensive the individual pieces of content are for this game. Characters being like $8 seems more fair than $6 kameos or $10 announcer voices though lmao. But thats fair, Sektor is just way too cool. Cheers dude 🥂
Ehhh maybe. I can see them increasing the scaling a bit on the jump punch so it doesn't lead to such crazy meterless damage. Unsure about the puppet stuff though. The move is fairly difficult to string together long sequences so imo it should be doing a lot of damage. But maybe a couple of the moves could be altered a bit so you're not hitting such insanely high damage for just having Janet do the stand 4 kick over and over lol
That tends to be the nature of games with assists and such. I think prior to Janet tho, damage could be high but was mostly reasonable. At least in the sense that most characters needed to spend a lot of resources to reach really high damage. But Janet and Mavado just break that completely and let characters get really high meterless damage and its kind of insane lol

Any tips for timing janets punch after bf3 / viscous vapours?
