Touting recycled steel for something as small as a watch is a pure marketing play and a silly one to me if you asks. It further demonstrates how Panerai has lost it's way under the Richemont banner. Recyled steel, too many special editions and movements losing both decoration AND the ability to hack on a tool watch. Imagine a navy Seal with a PAM Seal edition watch ready to sychronize their mission timer with their Team members only to find out their watch is not able to do it because it won't hack. "aw heck fellas, who needs precision. Horse shoes and hand grenades". All this from a PAM fan. I have two older models and will never let them go.
