Absolutely agree with you about the friendless and hospitality of the Chinese people. After visiting 30+ countries I was literally shocked in a good way because of how nice and caring and friendly Chinese people are. China is the best!
China is the absolute best! The perception from the west is the complete opposite from what I have ever encountered.
You finally updated, your photos from China are so beautiful, you should have a million followers.
You are too kind! Sorry this video took a little longer to come out
I feel your frustration for not getting the sunrise/sunset/golden hour lighting. It all looks a huge effort to get there & the logistics 🥲
What you did capture is incredible .. that drone footage is so epic!!
Thank you again Scott & Chloe for enabling us to join you in your travels 🙏🏻
It is what it is sometimes things are out of our hands, it’s an excuse to plan another trip 😬
@scott_howes excuse to go again in the future! 😊
You need visit YUNNAN province, Light paradise, Heaven of photography artist. Light paradise, Bet you gonna love it .
I really do, its on my list for the next visit to China!
As frustrating as it was for you guys, your footage was epic, so thank you 👌 Can’t wait to visit Zhangjiajie. I’ve watched so many vloggers now on what to do and what not to do. I don’t think many people actually realise how big the place is 🫣😂
Travel is not meant to be easy and things like this happen. Being a photographer you want to be in places for certain times of the day and when it’s not possible it can get frustrating but it’s just part of the game. Either way my time here was incredible and I’d love to return soon now I know what I know 😊
Absolute love your video. The fliter s that you used looks so cinematic and elegant.
Thanks so much for watching, glad you like the colour grade 🙏🏼
First off, awesome shots and love the color grading! Can I ask how the process was in bringing the drone around in China? Did airport security give you any hassle at all? Also, was it pretty easy to fly the drone in Zhangjiajie? Did you have to apply for any permits?
Thanks so much John. I've been to china serval times now and never had an issue bringing a drone into the country. Any drone bigger than 250g you'll have to register with the CAAC prior to flying. Hope that helps
What a phenomenal landscape! Never seen anything like it before - amazing. Sorry it was such a frustrating experience logistically, Scott, but thanks for bringing it all to us. Beautifully shot. 👍
Absolutely otherworldly there! Travel is never going to be easy. It was more frustrating being a photographer and watching to capture photos at certain times of the day. Hopefully I will return one day and capture the images I once envisioned!
Thanks so much for watching, I really appreciate it!
Amazing..
Thanks so much for watching!
Just like seeing a movie!
Thanks so much for watching
你拍的视频都很漂亮,非常专业
Thanks so much
as a traveler, you have to remain humble about how things might work out. you can't expect without a host or a guide to get through places seamlessly. This is the other side of the coin when you try to do things independently.
This is right, that’s what makes travel so exciting, things never go to plan which is all part of the adventure
Hi. Great video. How long did it take to go from Avatar mountain platform to Tianzi cable car by bus? thanks
You are really a professional at taking photos! It is a pity that you didn't book a hotel in the scenic spots. Of course, it would be more expensive, but you would have more time to take photos.
Thank you! I didn’t know you could stay in the national park? I’ll make sure I do next time
Wow another great work , ❤ ❤ amazing zhangjiajie , love it
Thank you so much for watching 🫶🏼
Man, your photography skills are really high. You always try to teach me some photography skills. It's a pity that I can't learn them.
Thanks so much for your kind words and watching. Let me know what you’d like to learn and I’ll make some videos to help you 😊🙏🏼
Yes brother 🤜🤛 LOVED this one! Things don't always go to plan, but thats always part of the experience. As always you managed to capture some great footage and give us a true vibe and experience with you. 🙏
This is the thing about travel right, nothing is ever straight forward. its all part of the journey. It was a shame to not walk away with the images I had envisioned but it is what it is. An incredible place to see and somewhere ill return again one day soon.
By the way you guys are dressed, it is cool. Which month and what's the weather like?
This was filmed in November
Hey Scott. Thanks for visiting China and show the world how beautiful my home country is. I know you are frustrated but I would argue that a better plan is better for your journey about the weather the schedule the long queue etc. enjoy the China tour 🎉
Thanks so much for watching. Your country is truly amazing and I cant wait to return again soon with better planning haha
some unreal drone shots you got! nice to see your significant other in the video as well 😄
zhangjiajie is a mountain maze and even higher difficulty if you don't know chinese. best way to go about it is to spend extra time and hike up the paths instead of waiting for the cable cars if the queues are long. for tianmenshan, there are two other paths you could have taken up instead of using the long cable car, but of course the cable car is a highlight for many. just curious, did you two do the glass walkway at tianmenshan 😉
Stoked you like the video, it’s an excuse to return and stay for longer 😬 yes we walked over the the glass walkway at tianmenshan 😅
感谢你拍出了这么多的高质量摄影作品,如果你需要帮助不要客气可以直接向周围人请求,他们都会很乐意帮助你的😂
Thanks so much for watching🫶🏼
Fantastic Scott 👏👏
Thanks for watching Gail 🫶🏼
I think Zhangjiajie is better in the fall than summer. Summer is just too hot.
I agree
Really glad you enjoyed your trip here in China! there's really so many amazing places to visit. If you ever find yourself back here and want to visit some of the lesser known quaint villages and mountain landscapes, feel free to reach out. We would love to show you around!
China blew me away, the most fascinating country I have ever visited. I am already planning my next trip to explore deeper.
Lets keep in touch it would be to hang with locals!
Beautiful shots!
Thanks for watching
You should have moresubs bro, nice content!
We keep grinding 😬 feel free to share with your friends 🙏🏼
Huangshan Mountain is the most stunning
WOW I need to visit one day!
Already waiting for part 5 🥹🤭
It’s coming in 1 hour ☺️
Hi, thank you for showing us this really amazing place. What month did you visit?😊
Thanks so much for watching, this was from November
@@scott_howesLovely! Your captures are really wonderful 🥹😍
Looking forward to your chongqing trip
Coming next week😊🙏🏼
like the video, photography, and the vibe. ;) its nicer if u can post out the music used in the video.
Thanks so much for watching! noted will do, all my music is from Audiio & artlist 😊
Was this in November, Scott? I surely would want to avoid cable car maintenance period when I go there.
Yes it was November, maybe look at visiting towards the end of October ☺️
The stairs and the cable car are bringing back all the memories 🤭. I think we will have to go back and try again with better planning, what do you think? 🇨🇳
I just wanna go back for the hot pot 😋
@@scott_howes ohhh yes! Beef hotpot with alllll the chilies 🌶️
张家界冬天雪景也很美
I would love to see this place in winter! Already planning my next adventure to china
That's an amazing movie! Welcome to China! Your film has a great color tone. Could you share your LUT?
Thanks so much for watching, glad you like the video! When i'm happy with the Luts they will go on sale
Wow!! Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing. sub & 👍145
Thanks so much for watching, appreciate the sub!
As a Chinese who have never been there, your video really inspired me to plan a trip. And the long queue is really frustrating, in case you plan to go to the great wall (Badaling ) in Beijing avoid the cable at all cost 😂. Lastly, Chongqing should not fail you.
Thanks so much for watching, i'm so glad the video has made you want to visit.
When we visited the great wall we went to Mutianyu and had the whole place to ourself it was incredible!!
@@scott_howesOh nice! And there are many other places like Simatai which are more original. Looking forward to your videos in Beijing.
Thanks Scott was this filmed in November? Following your itinerary I think 🤔 for our trip china 🇨🇳 April 25, what would you do differently if you came back here to national park 🏞️
Hi mate, I was there in November to the start of December, a great time to visit as it’s not so hot
Cool we go Easter holidays April 25 and land on last day of Qingming Festival 6th Sunday so hopefully we be ok for taxi etc
Yes November,it’s tough to say what I’d do differently but I’d have loved to have been in locations to photograph sunrise and sunset. Unfortunately when I was there the park opened and closed before sunrise and sunset
@@callum9880China never sleeps mate, you’ll always find taxis
👏👏👍👍
🙏🏼
Tried one of the golden plums after watching this.
Do you know what they are called? They are incredible!!!
@@scott_howes i asked the guy what they were, and he said golden plum but I've done a google and didn't match the pictures. Couldn't believe how sweet they were
@@ksteezy99 I asked the guy we got them from and it translated to sun berry or sun fruit but a search brings nothing up.
They were something else🤤
I don't get, can you use a drone in park?
博主 你好 如果出行这些热门景点 一定要避开中国的周末 学生们的寒假暑假 还有我们的会连续放几天的假期 😂因为真的会很多人 另外祝下次玩的开心😊
Thanks so much for watching, I love China and can’t wait to visit again soon 🙏🏼
Finally, there is no China+shocked. I can't even remember how many channels I've blocked as a result.
&
Zhangjiajie itself has been very famous for thousands of years.
Ure that sensitive ma’am ?
Thanks for watching!

@@scott_howes The Bamboo Sea is a scenic postcard of China. It is very shocking. The air is very comfortable, and you can also taste bamboo delicacies and ancient buildings.
I have been to the Bamboo Sea, and the landforms and scenery are indeed very unique. It is the Chinese version of the Grand Canyon, but it is full of bamboo forests and rivers, caves and aerial cable cars,Hollywood movie shooting base... I suggest you go on-site to travel and explore instead of reading the critical comments of Taiwanese people online. The Bamboo Sea scenery is unique to China and is a unique scenery of China, while the bamboo forest is not.
Sichuan culture is very Thick and so is its food. This is why it has fascinated Hollywood and Disney many times
Disney’s new animated films, Come With My Youth(Turning Red) and The Elemental, both have a lot of Sichuan elements
The MEI MEI that accompanies my youth(Turning Red), MEI MEI is the red panda of Sichuan

100% worth the experience! Many bamboo sea scenic spots in Sichuan have huge beautiful scenery, delicious food, ancient towns, ecosystems, complex landforms, and ancient culture and humanity. Bamboo Sea Scenic Area = China postcard, and so are the giant pandas inside
中国的新疆是我认为中国最美的地方,建议你去看 人间天堂 ,草原 雪山 湖泊 森林,羊群 马群 组成了一个童话世界。
I need to visit xinjiang on my next visit to China, thanks for letting me know these places. I’ll add them to my list 🙏🏼
