Our first frost is generally in November as well. I have some young squash and zucchini plants growing now.

I just dropped more potatoes, kale, collards, cucumbers, flowers, spring onions, choys, lettuce, etc. and I also dropped early prolific yellow squash as well, 2 types. 🤷🏾♀️ Why not?☺️ We’ll see what happens.😊 Thanks for sharing. Happy gardening Asia!

I just pulled my dill plants, seed saved those for next year. Putting in Snow Peas! I kind of buried the in behind the tomatoes so they don't get sun burned. Baby plants are so darn cute!

Great video ❤. This year I've focused on harvesting seeds from my garden. It's to the point at my work location where their garden landscape has beautiful flowers. I harvested seeds from their lavender shrub & eyeing the black eyed Susan's.😊
You still have time to drop seeds for more basil and dill too. And I bet your chickens would love those cucamelon plants as a summer snack 😂

Most ever herb and many peppers and tomatoes in my garden ..even squash was from cuttings from inside plants..love it!
O that’s cool Mike! Did you overwinter the peppers? Next year I’m definitely keeping suckers for this time of year. My transplants and suckers are doing really good right now.

This year my garden was overwhelmed with squash vine borers! It's the first year I have used a trap that lures the males with pherimones. The trap got about 1 dozen males in the first 24 hrs it was up! 😱
I also caught another 2 dozen SVB's hanging out over in the milkweed in the same timeframe, where they party and mate. I keep a lidded jar handy and catch them while they are looking for a date or starting to mate. (Hey. Gotta do watcha gotta do!) Over time, a 2nd trap caught about a dozen more. It broke a huge cycle and now I see only one or two, but they are not laying many eggs... wondering if it's for lack of males. Time for a new lure/trap, either way.
Enjoyed your share in the garden. I am saving shelling pea seeds, first time. Also planted organic grape tomatoes from some I bought at the store. So fun watching saved seed grow! Blessings. ✨️💖✨️

My broccoli over wintered here in zone 9b NE Florida and I saved the seeds. The greens were delicious...didn't know it was broccoli.

There are quite a few people that don't care for that law about hens, especially in this economy. They don't fuss over dogs barking all hours of the day but we can't have girls that don't make much noise? Just silly!

I'm on SSDI and my husband it going to cancer treatments and our garden has seriously kept fresh healthy food on the table. I feel so accomplished when I'm serving my family food I've grown myself! It didn't take long to process 8 quarts of tomatoes in to some of the best pasta sauce ever!

You can compost your plastic if you get wax worms 🐛 shred it out it in a metal bin with leaves
Well it’s a theory currently be tested by big corporations. I think you might have to add sugary because wax worms eat honey comb was normally. Plastic I guess has a similar study and the worms have enzymes to break it back down to nutrients. I am going to test it when I can
