You are brave to bring your soil indoors😂 I did it once and it was a disaster..dirt everywhere. My patio is usually werexI start my seeds now.
Seeds you can get from dollar general/tree. They also have pots, soil etc. Old Farmers Almanac helps me alot to get a general idea when to plant something. To me seed packets instructions are confusing to me. I grow in pots and grow bags on my patio. I recommend following a gardener at least in your same state or zone. Your local library my have a seed bank and you get seeds for free. Alot of those "Homestead" TH-camrs were overwhelming to me because I was just starting out and they are so big and more than a "backyard gardener". So it caused me anxiety. Love grow veg, Beauty in the garden and broke farmer.
Lol I just clean after. I start inside most of the time. There’s a lot of great information in this comment! Thank you!!
You ain't lying about that dirt and water everywhere. Lol The perlite blew everywhere ( I had to vacuum and I wasn't happy lol).I was TRYING to do mine in my pj's .Had to change pj's because dirty and wet.Hot mess!!!
New Gardeners need to save this video, you didn't miss one point. Any gardener can get a good foundation from watching this. Preciate all the support and using your channel to showcase other gardening channels. Thanks for the shout out 💯
Thanks Broke! You’re welcome! I was trying to catch your live last night but…life! 🤣
I ❤️ how you shouted out all of these gardening you tubers
Blessings 🙏🏾I appreciate you taking out the time to do amazing work and sharing your Garden Journey 💚🥰Happy Gardening
Thank you! I'm just starting seeds for the first time. I've never grown anything but house plants. I'm scared but excited 😊
Thank you! I appreciate you as well! Love your content!

Hi Asia, you are such an inspiration with a kind soul. I really appreciate you and your channel.
This is a great video!! I’ve been gardening for over fifty years and I love your enthusiasm and love you have for gardening!!
Nice info for people wanting to get. Into gardening
So glad you did this video. Very informative and I’m always so happy to see when gardeners in the community shout out others cause folks get their platform and forget where they started and that some of us need that extra help lol so that is so inspiring to see someone cares. Thanks from a small patio gardener with aspirations of a homestead
Agree with you 100% Jess from Roots& Refuge is truly my go to . Find them very True and down to earth
I love roots to refuge have her book on gardening
My mom and I love watching your videos! We too have a small back yard in zone 6b. Your content is inspiring, Please keep posting!
The thing about gardening is that there is always something new to learn. I love that! And there are so many different ways to garden as well. I could sit and binge watch gardening videos for hours.
I enjoy GrowVeg, Epic gardening, James Prigioni, Jacques In the Garden, Charles Dowding and Spicy Mustache on TH-cam for learning. Most of these channels have also released books. Gaz Oakly I watch for mostly cooking and some homesteading life learning.
So many gardening YTubers to watch! I love Kevin and Jacques from Epic Gardening. I also like how they pull information from other gardeners from different areas too. I try to find other YTubers that have similar timezones to mine (zone 9b), live in CA, or other sisters and brothers in the garden. Thank you for sharing! 🙌
Love watching you great info thanks for sharing
Dang girl. You have really spruced up your place. Good look. God bless you 🙏🏻 and your family 🙏🏻 Nurse Judi in Scottsdale AZ and Eucharistic Minister 🙏🏻 many prayers 🙏🏻
AWESOME video and extremely informative. I've been at this about a year and a half...still have a lot to learn and so grateful for channels like yours with down to earth folks giving good, helpful info. Thank you!!
Welcome back ❤️🖤❤️🖤😊👋🏿love your garden 😊
Hey Asia! This was a very informative video about starting a garden. It can be such an intimidating thing for many. 🤷♀️
I think sometimes gardeners make growing food appear to be more complicated than it really is. 😂 Keep it simple. I try.
Aww thank you so much for the mention. This made my morning. 🤗
I enjoy your channel very much. I appreciate your transparency. It’s truly refreshing.
All the best to you and your family!
Chile, spring is just around the corner. 🙌 Let’s keep growing. 😜
Hey Nikki! Thank you! It can be but I want to get as much information out as possible that shows it’s not as scary as some may think!
Totally agree! That’s one of the reasons I love your channel!
You’re so welcome! Gotta share good channels and support each other!
Thank you 🤗

Sweeeeeet ✊🏾😎🌱🌴🌳
Good information. Love your channel. I'm looking forward to your seed start video 😊
Thank you, I have chronic back and hip problems, just got a nerve block done. I plan on growing in the grow bags. Collards, carrots, potatoes maybe some beets, but just a few. I have watched all 219 🎥 this month. I have never watched a vlog until I saw your vlogmas and I really enjoyed it. Watching your videos has helped me through my chronic pain this month. God bless you and continue doing what you love❤❤❤.
So grateful that your channel just showed up while browsing for gardening channels. Total beginner here and I just started with some Herbs here in South Florida. Thank you for all the channel recommendations, but I'm starting right here and learning from you! You're an amazing teacher with a great soul. So authentic and inspiring!
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for making this video. I hadn’t done gardening in years but decided I wanted to again, I currently live in Germany so I’m excited but nervous all at the same time. Learning the zones for here was interesting but I think I finally got it. I can’t wait to get growing and I will definitely be sharing the journey. Thanks again for all the tips and other gardening TH-camr’s! ❤
This was such a great video! Wonderful tips that I wish I had known last season when I started 😂 But I’m definitely taking them into account as I expand.
I also love that you shared all the content creators that have helped you in your journey. I already follow most of the ones you mentioned but there are a few that I didn’t know about. Love that you are spreading the knowledge!
Hi Asia! Awesome informative video. 😊

Fantastic video, Asia. Thank you. I also watch MI GARDENER too. He’s in Michigan and shares wonderful info. This will be my 3rd year gardening. 😃💜

Thank you, thank you, thank you! This was a very helpful video for new gardeners like myself. Great information and easy to understand and listen to. 🌱🎉
I love your channel, the song at the beginning and your soothing voice, you are amazing and love your garden.
Awesome video! very informative and helpful. I've been gardening for 3 years now, and I'm still learning like you said. Thank you Asia! Stay Blessed 🙌🏾 🌱🙏🏾💜
Great information and great advice with sticking to it. On days I get tired or just don’t feel like it I watch gardening videos and the excitement and life springs back up in me… I do it just for the love of being outside. I appreciate your content and advice.
I am so pleased I started watching your channel. I’m sort of near your zone and have loved gardening for several years. Some years the yield is plentiful some no so wonderful. I suppose it’s because I don’t do my research and do the extra needed work to make my backyard oasis flourish. I am going to pop over to some of your favorite fellow gardeners on yt and see if i can glean more knowledge for the upcoming growing season. Please keep up the good work. 😊
You're amazing! Thank you for so much information! God bless you and your family.❤️
Never seen a video like this. She is such a sweetheart ❤
I love and appreciate everything you have said. I’m in my 3rd year, but always open to learning new information. Thank you

Fun video!! I can't remember exactly when I found you but it was toward the start of your channel on TH-cam. I really liked your personality and how you approached things. You've been a favorite of mine ever since.
Awwww thank you! I can’t remember when you joined but I do know you’ve been a subscriber for a long time. I appreciate the support very much!!
Great info Asia for beginners! I didn’t know of some of those channels, so I will check them out! Support one another and learn as much as we can about being self sufficient in growing and storing our own food!
Not gonna lie, I was so excited to see what you were going to seed. But this was so informative, and helpful. I found a few new gardeners to watch. SO thank you very much for sharing this. And then I will look forward to the next video 😃
I'm not sure if you're aware, but the leeks you can also just slice and freeze, no processing needed. But that is a matter of preference. I just wanted to mention it. If you ever run out of space 🙂
Very helpful, thank you!
Great video very informative.
Wow! I look at 97% of the people you mentioned. I think only two or three people I'm not subscribed too.I love the UK growers ! I was just about to mention you didn't say " Marie " in new York 😅. I have sown my peppers, tomatoes, flowers, herbs and of course my cool weather crops. The other crops will be sown in February lord willing .
Great information 😊thank you.

This was such a great video! I love becoming a farm girl. There’s one guy I like too that you may: Jag from Daisy creek farm. Thank you for sharing ❤

Happy New Year Asia. You are such a blessing. Thanks for sharing!
You definitely did a great job and named some wonderful people!!
Thanks as always for your help and inspiration ❤ I do like becoming a farm girls channel as well. Tfs ❤❤
I can not help but thank you; you are so loving and gentle as a teacher and inspiring. This is exactly what my heart needed to see: possibility! And a sista no less!!!!! YASSSSS!!! We celebrate you.
Also! I hate to be a requestin' ass woman, but I gotta do it because it would help me so much! You talked about planning the garden/planting/seeding in advance. Is there anyway in hell that we could see a video where you show us the "thinking," "researching," behind how and why for your next plant? I just love the way you think aloud.
Okay! I see your next video so I know you probably already did it lol
Hey good to see you. I've been busy with summer so not much internet time 😂

I like your energy and look forward to following along while I try my hand at container gardening this year!
O yay! Good luck and happy growing!
This has helped so much with more resources! I’ve been able to grow things pretty well my whole life but I’m looking to get deeper this year as I have one whole side of my house in the backyard like almost a dog run size area I’m looking to utilize.

I really enjoyed this video. I watch most of those Gardners you recommend. I just started my onions, chives and leeks yesterday. I also winter sowed some flowers and herbs. I so excited for this season. I started last year and I've learned a lot of what worked and what didn't work. I think I'm more prepared this year 🤞🏾
