Great video, by the way, as always!
I noticed Munich was missing on the list. Do you want me to make a few phone calls? 😊
Can't help but think that after NAMM this'll be a bit of an anti climax, mingling with us mortals now you're a global influencer 😂😂😂
You’re playing at THE cavern??? 🎉🎉🎉
"Global Online Influencer"!!! Our Mary is all grown up now! ;-) So proud! 🤩😂❤👍🙏
Mrs. Worldwide!
@@jannbautista4480wait til she hits Australia ☝️❤️🙏
Honestly I don't even like this genre of music. I don't even know why I watch her videos, but I do. Maybe it's that british authority that comes with the accent lol.
Influencer? Youf kinglose r.
Notice it didn't say music star
I liked when Mary chuckled during her intro as they referred to her as a "global online influencer"
I'm also hoping Mary releases her cover of Don't Stop Believing in the style of Aretha Franklin soon. Maybe the Mary Spender Trio could crank that out!
Looks like Nammers were wanting selfies with you instead of the other way around. You’ve definitely found your niche. As Rick Beato said of you - you definitely get it. Congrats!
Your observation of NAMM is so refreshing. Finding what’s right with the event makes life a positive progression. Many naysayers are just old and jaded.
So awesome to see your experience :)
You worked hard for this Mary....
You've put in the work.
You deserve the attention
Thanks for this taste of NAMM! When I grow up, I want to go there, but for now I will live vicariously through our dear Mary, who truly deserves to be there!!! ❤
What is kind of funny is the fact that your music is something I very rarely listen to (so sorry - it is soo good). I'm just not so much into singer/songwriter stuff (but I really admire your craftsmanship, don't get me wrong). But I really really LOVE all of your videos about your art and everything around it! Thank you for this lovely content!
Hanging out walking around NAMM with Mary, Adam, Elle, Toni et al would be like a peak musician experience for me.
They said “Global”. And she played my favorite song 👍🏾👏🏾
Your voice whether talking or singing soothes my soul. Thank you.
the sheer vlogception of it all
It would be awesome if regular people could attend. Looks so exciting.
Well done Ms. Mary. Excellent video, and your playing was fantastic. Thanks for posting 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for sharing your highlights of NAMM 2024!!! It must have felt very exciting to play for the morning crowd. Love your music and channel, can’t wait support you more in 2024. 👍🤘😎🎸✌️
As much as I enjoy this channel, live is so much better than a recording. Mary, your set at Martin guitars was the highlight of the NAMM show for me this year - despite all the background noise. Your grace and professionalism in dealing with the audio issues they were having showed both some serious chops and a great sense of humor. Some people can just connect with an audience, and you definitely have that gift!
It's great to share in the excitement! Thanks for taking us along
Thank you so much for this wonderful wrapup!
Thanks for sharing this, Mary!
Thank you for sharing NAMM with us!!
Excellent! Thanks for sharing some of your time there with us.
Always a pleasure watching your videos. Thanks for the NAMM tour. Enjoyed your music!
I caught your panel and show at the NAMMU breakfast session and it was so inspiring, probably the best way to start out my first NAMM. Love your videos and your insight Mary thank you for being you.
This was just so much fun to watch. TY for sharing these highlights of the NAMM Show with us, Mary. :)
What an awesome experience! 😊 as an old follower, I’m extremely happy and proud to see you owning the NAMM stage and finally getting a signature Martin. Congratulations, Mary! 🥳 You are an inspiration to many! 🫶🏻
My favorite NAMM to date as well... particularly the meeting you in person part of it! I finally got to thank you for all the great music and videos... and congratulate you, in person, on your success! Keep rockin' Mary!😎🤘🎸🐦
This was an incredible video, Mary. Very well produced, artistic and incredibly informative. Felt like we were on the journey with you. Super excited to see how your channel and your music are expanding. Great stuff!
one of the ABSOLUTE best things about Mary and this particular video is a very subtle thing: the playing of "You can Have Chicago Back" during Mary's voiceover! Great!!
I really love the thoughtfulness of your commentary, Mary!
The best NAMM video I've seen. I was expecting the usual wall of noise that comes with NAMM videos. This was excellent!
That is awesome! And congratulations Mary! 🎊
Enjoyed the short film. I follow you and all your fellow guitarphiles that you showed in your film. Pleasurable way to spend the way.
Thanks.
Yay, Mary! Thank you for taking us with you to NAMM 2024! Hope to catch you live in the future!
Well done Mary. You are proof that with hard work and dedication you can make a difference. As a subscriber to you channel for a few years and purchasing your music you have certainly made a huge difference. Keep on going Mary and thanks for sharing.
Kudos Mary! Looks like it was a blast and it shows on your face lol. Been following you for years watching your journey. Here's to your continued success!! Cheers
thanks for the tour and some behind the scenes
mary... i love your singing, and i love your playing, but i REALLY enjoy it when you talk to us. your artistic talents cannot be denied, but you make me feel like an old friends and we're just having a chat. so wholesome.
Mary, I am so happy for you because I can tell how happy you were participating and attending the NAMM show! My heart for music overflows with love, inspiration, and motivation; so, it's easy for me to recognize another. And that's why I love you, Tim, Rick, and Rhett!!!
Thank you Mary for sharing your life & times’ always a real pleasure 🎉
I love that you do these documentary style videos - you’re getting better and better at this style keep them coming!
Can’t imagine playing in front of that crowd - I’d be more nervous in front of that bunch than 20,000 “regular folk.” Don’t they always say “the only people who pay attention to your tone and to anything more than cowboy chords are other guitarists.” How about 1000 expert guitarists?
Well done, Mary Spender...you have come soooo far..Cheers and Best for you in the future. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good presentation! Thank you!
Happy to see you had such a wonderful time.
Wonderful video, as always! You personify the Ruskin quote.
Gosh, I love your voice so much, Mary! I miss Nam this year for the first time since 2017 as well. Look forward to meeting you in person and 2025.
What a nice video. Thank you for sharing. It was entertaining, informative and moving. All the best.
„Quality is never an accident…” -> two seconds later -> sts guitars 7 string Tomo on camera 🤘
Thank you for continuing to produce such high quality content for those of us who are more interested in many of the nuanced elements of the music industry and the wealth of interesting musicians and luthiers. I had the privilege this year of watching you play (including standing next to your camera man while you were playing that Collings) as well as finally meet and speak to Paul Davids and Rhett Shull who I also put in that elite tier of TH-cam content creators. Seems like every NAMM I attend there are more and more interesting and passionate people that I get to meet... Tim Pierce is still my unicorn that I haven't had the opportunity to speak with. 😝Maybe next time.) ☮❤🎶
Love the video. The Custom martin is so cool!!! Congrats. Love the bike inlay. Could you ever imagine this awesomeness? Much deserved.
Awesome video Mary, Cheers
Its always nice to see some ones hard work pay off. Well done Mary 🙏
Glad to have you back Mary, hope you are doing better.
Much fun! Thank you, Mary! But the best was that last segment in which the real fun showed its glow. See you next year!
Fab video! Great to see NAMM back to full strength
“Kraft is a collective process.” Cool quote. Thanks! 👏🏻
8:50 looking forward to the Journey cover!
Mary your such an inspiration to me and you have grown so so much I am very proud of you Mary keep up being amazing and good work to ❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations on your tour love your music 🎶 🎵 ❤ absolutely Brilliant
the cameos in this are excellent :) good to see so many faces
thanks Mary for a well crafted piece about this NAMM We appreciate this ode to craft and crafters and the tools
This great to see! Congratulations’
Mary, your videos are truly inspiring!
As someone who is coming to terms that I’m going to have to get sober due to 26+ years of caning it I know that there’s lots for me to learn regarding video editing like the way you do so I’ll never be bored!!
Plus there’s no substance that gets me going like a funky drum beat🕺🏻
Thanks for the inspiration x
For those of us with everyday boring jobs, the only way we get to see this awesome stuff is through your camera. Thanks.
Bravo Mary.. so brave, my respects. thank you for sharing
Just a lovely job, Mary. NAMM was... insane, in all the right ways. I don't know if my peak experience was showing Paul Davids where the restrooms were at the hotel 🤣, or briefly meeting you shortly thereafter 🙂. I'll refrain from naming the particular hotel lobby... what a great spot to meet folks after hours! Cheers - 🙂
Mary, Love seeing your growth as a Global influencer and Artist...Keep it going Girl!
A great, uplifting video! This was my second NAMM. I'm local and made it for two days - it's always both exhausting and invigorating. My highlight was standing in front as you played in the Martin booth (I'm wearing a mask in your video). You and your new guitar were great. Incredible tone on your new guitar. Too bad the greatness of the sound doesn't translate as well to TH-cam.
Thank you for taking a moment to chat and take some pictures after your performance. There are some nice ones. I've also some video from your performance, including the NAMM sound 'cop" that was lurking!
Very nice Mary, you are so eloquent… you are cherished by your fans and peers
great video . its so nice that you have your signature martin that's great . .lovely video . i can see some awesome guitars etc etc on this video of Namm
Brilliant report/Video
It's thanks to Adam I discovered you and your channel! (when you and here were busking around NYC) Both of you seem like, not only such talented musicians, but great people to be around. We'll see if I may try to attend NAMM next year! I'd love the chance.
It was great to see you live at the NAMM Breakfast, thanks for being there 🙏🏻‼️
Thank your for sharing.. one can get lost in the maze of products and attractions... what an honor that Martin made a signature guitar for you NICE... I play a Taylor 12 string Jumbo... but i borrowed a Martin 12 string for a show..... different sound but so rich.... all the best
I used to go for work every year. I've missed it so bad the past couple of years. Gotta figure out how to get a ticket on my own accord! Great stuff, Mary. Thanks for sharing your experience there. Hope to get back myself next year!
I want to attend next year. I’ve seen Victor play at the House of Blues for the 3rd time (after the show.) It’s great to see your notoriety. Good for you Mary! You deserve it.
So proud and happy for you!
Will you post a video reviewing the custom 42 style Martin OM you teased us about?
Loved this!
Thank you for this.... really appreciated..... love those "Guitar Art" guitars!
Looks like you had an amazing show! Congrats! As a veteran B2B journalist, I've covered many large trade shows. I know how exciting and exhausting they can be. Seems you took this one in stride!
The definition of quality from John Ruskin is what I find in your videos. I am so very happy for you, and I think we all enjoyed the NAMM Show from this year with you.
What wonderful blessing for you. Bravo!
Wonderful video - very well done.
Mary...you are so special and talented!!! 🤩
Awesome Mary! ❤
Excellent job, Mary!! I really miss NAMM. Gotta get back soon.
Love the bike detail on the headstock!
Beautiful instrument, (Your Martin, and the others) ❤️
Mary I really enjoy your channel. Please consider a Canadian tour!!!
Great vlog, Mary! You did some awesome things!! 🙌
Song on the next mark Ronson album!?
Love you, Mary!
Oh wow…way to go Mary!!! Wish I could have been there - NAMM looks amazing. AND, look at you - you’re way more than a ‘global online influencer’. Congrats! Well done 👍👍👍
Love the bike on the headstock !!
Mary, you are so wonderfully relaxed and confident, having the great ability to mesh with so many people in the business. With being a first-class singer songwriter musician, complimented by the ability to navigate the occasional musician's ego, gatekeepers and manufacturers is an elusive skill and a plus in the music industry. I recognised Adam and Rhett from their TH-cam channel and from being on Rick Beato’s channel. They both seem genuine, talented, and knowledgeable and it is pleasing to see you all appear mates. Thanks for the video on your experience at NAMM. The only downside is I now must fight off another case of gear envy. 🖤🕉
Great video ... !!! 😊 Tfs
congrats mary!
Thank You Mary Spender.
A downright poetic look at NAMM! Well done, Mary!
Nice one, Mary. You have a lovely speaking voice, but those lower register tones when you sing are finest coffee and cream. They send shivers to my soul.
