OG player here. I haven’t stopped playing as much as it sucks to play but I can guarantee you that I am not wasting money on the battle passes or bundles. I’ve wasted enough money as it is just buying the game. But this is mainly what my friends play so I continue to play it. Once again, it still f***ing sucks.

If it still has SBMM, just gonna be another let down. I hope it comes to game pass so we at least don’t have to drop $70
The games have always had a certain degree of SBMM since like BO2. But nowadays it's EOMM, and the thing to hope for is for it to be a bit less strict, but I have big doubts that'd happen. I'm moreso cautiously optimistic about zombies, since that doesn't get affected by modern matchmaking
Game could have everything but it would mean nothing because SBMM would still plague everything. Like the most perfect pizza delivered to you but the delivery guy beforehand smeared a steaming wet dog crap pile all over the bottom and closed the box and gave it to you

If there is SBMM the way it has been since 2019, tac-sprint, mounting, doors, and no classic prestige then it will be awful. Rip COD 2003-2018.

If Treyarch can salvage Sledgehammer's mess with BOCW in 16 months and still come out with a pretty damn decent game across all 3 modes, I am very interested in seeing what they can cook up in an unprecedented 4-year development time. However, EOMM's existence makes it very hard to be hyped for COD nowadays. Though I'm glad it doesn't affect zombies.

I love Fallout to death and was a huge CoD fan, too until warzone era; but I part of me wishes Fallout didn't collab with modern CoD... There is no way they're just gonna give you stuff for free... It's all gonna be behind macrotransactions... They only gonna see it as an opportunity to cash in off the hype...

I love the Black Ops franchise as a whole (my first CoD game was BO1), but at this point I'm tired of devs trying to bank on nostalgia.
Some other comment said it best: there's gonna be SBMM, so unless they change their minds (which they won't), it will NEVER be an enjoyable experience.
They're destroying a game that people love, but they're making money, so... there's that.

Aside from Fallout being popular atm, they could literally flip a switch in terms of getting an okay to include a character for a bundle. Anything under Microsoft can appear. Could literally have a Clippy bundle (aside from that being op, but you get the point)

the kar98k in MW19 was so good because you could actually quicksope properly with it, unlike every other sniper in that slow ass game

Can’t the 6 tallies be a call back to the “beware of the 6” as in nova crawlers? The Only reason I don’t think it’s 6 is because by that same logic modern warfare 2019,2022 and 2023 would be MW4,MW5 and MW6 that’s why counting Cold War as BO5 seems very inaccurate
The main difference is the recent MW games are reboots, not sequels to the original. Every BO game is set within the same universe and there are currently five.

A name doesn't make or break a game for me(I really don't care that much), but I do prefer continuity to make sense, and calling it BOV just simply didn't make any sense.
I mean the tally marks don’t really mean anything and could be referencing something else, the Roman numeral 6 doesn’t really fit in the redacted image.

Nah I still think it will be called BO V. That "Sally 6" was in the game back in BO1. It's a zombies reference, Sally is the name of 1 of the pap'd starting pistols, and that's why the "6" is in tallys, like zombies round numbers instead of roman numerals like Black Ops titles are
A COD/Fallout Crossover? As someone that plays Fallout, even I am struggling to think of what would be in that crossover. Maybe a Armored Vault Suit, Maybe a Ghoul Skin, Maybe (not counting on it) a Super Mutant Skin, Plasma Rifle or Laser Rifle, 10mm Pistol skin (cus its ICONIC) and maybe throw in whatever else they want like Nuka Cola skins among other things.

Don’t get back into the cod cycle and get excited for this game. Wait until the beta is out to make any judgements, and do not fall for all the pre-release hype based on trailers. Cod has disappointed year after year and anyone who still gets excited at this point is just a fool

Reveal teaser clearly said Black Ops V and now because an upcoming gun has 6 tally marks everyone takes it for granted that it's gonna be Black Ops VI instead?! Ridiculous... also even if true, that doesn't mean "we were mistaken", it means they lied to us with the teaser because, again, it clearly said Black Ops V

Nero, Was playing Fallout 4 yesterday and went to see Dr.Amari (i really liked the name as i'm an Ana Amari main on overwatch) and what do you know its the same voice actor. I guess that explains the Ana wastelander skin. nice easter egg.

the fact that all of this is going into the game files for mw3 makes me feel like the next black ops is gonna end up feeling the exact same as mw3, which is extremely disappointing. im tired of every cod feeling the same ever since mw2019

I kinda want more old school stuff, if it’s yet another modern era or near future era game I’m definitely out. I want a good WWII or Cold War era game, hell a game centered around Vietnam would be amazing. Rising Storm II is old and theirs really no other game like it.
