@@magatsujoji I’ve never played TTYD before, and I’m so excited to play the remake. I know it’s one of the most beloved Mario RPGs. My personal favorite Mario RPG is Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story, but honestly TTYD might top it for me. I’ve played a few hours of Paper Mario 64, and I loved what I’ve played so far. The only other Paper Mario game I played was Origami King, which I thought was mid. If it wasn’t for the boss battles in that game, I would not have liked it at all. I’m hoping the remake sells really well, so maybe Intelligent Systems will make a sequel to TTYD with similar combat

Hooray!! I hope the net code or whatev has been improved a lot since the recent test session, cause oh boy the shotguns felt like they just wouldn’t shoot in some instances (I wasn’t able to fire during the scope in animations) which made them feel pretty clunky. Apart of me doubts it’ll have been fixed in this short time but then again I’m not a game dev 🙃

The game already had a lot of them during the tests. Regardless of sbmm or not gamers have gotten sweatier over the years so they are gonna be there no matter what. Add on to the fact the game is catering to them with movement
@@GRANDTHEFTBATO that’s true. But to be fair, it’s usually only the sweatier people that play the alphas, server tests, etc. so those usually are more sweaty.
We’ll see in the end though if it’s really sweaty or not
@@GRANDTHEFTBATO the movement (at least what I remember from the beta) was fast but not spammy. CODs always had movement but it’s recently just become spam and spas. Maybe my experience was luckily different but it didn’t seem like it with this game.
But you’re right about the skill increase though, although I’d argue that’s why no sbmm would be all the better, the games are already becoming naturally sweaty enough

As long as the connection and hit detection is stable I’ll be fine, I don’t even care if the game has Sbmm because we can’t run from it in gaming nowadays. Something new is all we needed.

I'm excited for this game. Played the beta last year and loved it. Sure the constant release date reveal being delayed was a bit annoying, but if it launches well and is an enjoyable arcade shooter, it'll have been worth it.
Really hope this game does well, desperate for a new shooter to get into.
Finally! I’m a long time cod player, bought every one since the beginning, and I had given up on it mainly cause of the sbmm. I’ve played battlefield pretty much exclusively for a while. I have had such high hopes for this game and I played the most recent server test and I actually enjoyed myself which is something I can’t say about cod since black ops 3. Seems like mark Ruben knows what people actually want. I plan on supporting this game with actual dollars if the release is what I’m expecting. Maybe Activision learns something from this release. Make a game where people can actually enjoy themselves and that’ll get you player retention. I know they won’t though.

I second the controller settings. Trying to find settings that most resemble CoD or something similar. Last play test felt clunky.

I wouldnt be surprised if XDefiant does really well, and lasts till the end of 2024, it forces Activisions hand at (as a minimum) making EOMM less strict or even removing it to get people on the new BlackOps.

Why no one is talking about lobby dissbanding after end of match. My matches were sweaty AF. Hasnt noticed no SBMM during test servers

I think a Xdefiant will be a good test. It will prove if SBMM is a good or bad for gaming in todays landscape or not.
The lobbies I got into on XDefiants final beta test made me think again on if SBMM is really bad. Lobbies on XDefiant are sweaty af and it’s just b-hoping movement and bad connections.

Can someone explain to me how this is supposed to work with the game actually not having SBMM? I don´t know how this is even possible. My 1st experience with the game was really bad with the last play test and I didn´t enjoyed it much but tbh, I hope it will be all good in the end.

I was hyped for xdefiant but that hype has now shifted to destiny 2 with all the great changes they have been making and the new expansion dropping in early June. However, I will play xdefiant for a bit before the expansion but I cant fully invest into it. Sad that this game got delayed so many times. Hope its fun and everyone else enjoys it though!
