Been playing Battlefield 2042 lately and been having wayyyyy more fun than on COD
My favorite thing that they did was make an actual 70 dollar add on, not the game I was hoping for, but added that games gun to the battle pass
What can I say, COD is like "THE GOOD STUFF", people just can't stop, won't stop, shit don't ever stop. Despite all the BS, I am SO GLAD I do not play these games. Consider this video another nail in that Coffin that is COD.
For that money you can have about 6 months of GamePass with access to over 400 games. Including some of these titles you listed.
But you know, I _do_ buy stuff from the CoD store sometimes. So who am I to judge :)

There’s nothing wrong with buying from the store. It keeps the game fresh and makes it more fun. Having said that, I only buy stuff once in awhile because it is definitely overpriced. But if players are willing to pay, it’s only affecting their wallet not yours. So I don’t see what the big problem is here.

As I’ve gotten older, the more I’ve realized how stupid we are. I loved it when the camos, skins and calling cards showed off your skill and accomplishments. Now it just shows off what bad financial decisions you’ve made. I’ve had maybe 10 people in mw3 alone get mad that I beat them even though I have a “default” character and weapon skin. It’s not default, it’s just something anyone can get and use without paying more than what they did for the game. Why do they think that just because I don’t spend money on the game, I should be a bad player? I’ve been playing cod since world at war and have been in the highest rank in league/rank play since bo2. Yet the only micro transactions I’ve ever made was for some bacon camo in bo2. I’m not paying $30 to look like a clown running around the map

my theory on the accounts resetting and these outages, is that it happens when they turn SBMM back on after the free trial period ends. I could be wrong though...
I think it's much more likely that they never changed the matchmaking algorithm, but instead that the influx of "Lower Skilled" players during the Free-Trial weekend only made it seemed like it was "Turned Off"...

Yet destiny 2 launched as a premium game, released dlc after dlc and when they changed to free to play they REMOVED ALL OLD BASE GAME CONTENT and some dlc, then went back to releasing dlc after dlc (sometimes very shit) and NEVER REFUNDED ANYONE WHO PAID FOR THE CONTENT THAT WAS REMOVED… man the gaming industry is fucked…

Called this years ago when they started selling bundles for 1/3rd of the game's price. Should have set off alarms in people's head instantaneously, but everyone was just so happy that the slot machine was gone and that shop they've been begging for for years finally came.

Ironically, I think I had some of my favourite matches yesterday during the server outage! I got the new maps so nobody knew where to go and actually enjoyed each game. I would also say that maybe SBMM was reduced? I had players on both teams dropping less thank 0.25kd’s but very few left the game
Regarding the outages l. I'm allowed to use my custom classes and level up everything. I just won't see the results. It still does say I'm lvl 1 that's the only downside.

For me when the update came in all the sudden i'll get massive lag/stutter for one moment and most likely die because of it. Also for some reason can't call in streaks with right d-pad have to hold it down to call it in.

I didn’t purchase the battle pass for this seasons at all, I did not spend COD points on it nor did I buy the black cell yet I’m still able to do the battle pass and unlock stuff. Is the battle pass always like this?

Longtime Call of Duty player here! I downloaded Battlefield 2042 the other day after having deleted Call of Duty a few months ago to make room for some other games on my hard drive. I have to admit, Im really enjoying the experience. Over the weekend I redownloaded MW3 just to see if it there if I was missing something or playing it wrong before. I played 3 matches and even tried warzone for the first time. It wasnt even close. Point is, Battlefield 2042 makes me feel something truly special and makes me feel like im in an actual situation when ive got my headphones on and controller vibration turned all the way up. COD made me feel like deleting it to again make space for better games.
It’s actually sickening to see the prices of cosmetic content. When looking back at the older titles, it was more about the game. It was far more exciting to unlock weapons by leveling up. Now, it seems like a simple request from the fans was ignored which would be making a MW2 remaster which would have been great, but we only got the campaign and not the multiplayer.

The patch showed me first a 4.4gb update on xbox series x. The update didn't start with waiting so I rebooted my console. And after the reboot I have now a 265gb update going on. Thanks again Activision 🤬
