Cerakoting the logos on the covers is a nice touch. I saw on your other bikes the paint didn’t hold up well to the boot wear.
Nice preview of the front end. This thing is gonna drop jaws on and off the dirt.

Thanks so much! I don't think Cerakote will hold up to boot rub either. Nothing does. That said, I plan to use Pryme MX engine guards to keep these fresh!

Hey Kincade just wanted to know if you knew how to rethread a drain bolt I bought a ktm a few months ago and it came with a lot of problems and one of them being the drain bolt being stripped which I didn’t know about when buying the bike anyways love the content

Get heelicoil kit or just bring it to any small motor repair shop then can hoone it and get it rethreaded happened to me but I stripped a spark plug in the head😂

What’s your preferred degreaser for the bath? Are the cases safe to dunk too?

I use simple green or super clean. You do need to pay attention to their recommended ratios. I’ve been told it can eat aluminum if you leave it too long. Never had any issues.

Cerakote actually has black color coatings that repel heat... and on top of it, a lot of the 80s and early 90s honda cr500 motors were all black.

Wiseco cranks are horrible quality sadly they just never last very long at all i stay clear away from them... Either oem or oem rebuilt with a pro x rod kit even a hot rods crank ive had better luck with.

@@KincadePavich yeah those are good for dust and small particles, such as construction dust, but not for the toxic solvents used in paints and coatings.
You’re gonna want a set of organic charcoal filters for painting. Otherwise it’s hell on your liver.
